There Goes The Motherhood - General Discussion

Beth - I was shocked they are talking, with the kids, on camera about the divorce. To me it is detrimental to the kids, she is using them for her Bravo paycheck. Jen is Fruit Loops. I agree with what you said. Megan can't remember if her kids bathed? Good call on having another one. The psychic stuff - when my niece was little she was afraid of her closet. The pediatrician asked her about it and then said, "Poof it's gone". Imagine the hands like a magician thing. Then he asked my sister if she lets "people" live in her house without paying rent. THAT WORKED. Kids! Why wouldn't Stephanie just start out by joining a local church choir, community choir? -

Regis is old school talk show host. One of the last of the greats. Now days everyone wants a talk show. That story was so ridiculous. Even if it was real, why bring it up to Seal? True! In this day and age, to constantly harp on divorce is so narrow minded. My opinion is that she will run out her contract and we may be seeing the last of her. I have this feeling she really pissed off the wrong people. -

Me too and I thought he was, gasp, normal. Good to know! -
I'm out! The cheese fest is too much for me. I do find Grayson and his mother likeable.

I found this to be true of others like the Pioneer Woman. She started her blog as a homeschool blog, which was excellent by the way, and her recipes were an add on. Good food. Now I hardly recognize her recipes and have no inclination to even try them.

I liked when Dr. Phil talked with the dad after the show and pointed out how the mother is now blaming the girls and how dangerous that is. -

Would you want to be with those parents? Not me! About Zach and the dishes. I felt bad for him. Why couldn't they put dishes where he can reach them without climbing? The everyday dishes or a set of should be available to him. When we were kids our mom put sets of dishes in the lower cabinets. It was great. Don't even get me started about the shoes on the counters. -
Please don't call them dates! That's what fundies do to show ownership of girls to father's then husbands. It just sounds creepy. Don't they have special time now? Even infants can have and should have special time with each parent. My brother used to read to his babies each day after work. Sure they were Field and Stream or National Geographic, but who cares. Build that vocabulary. I agree that parents should carve out time with each of their children. Parents can coach a city league ball team, go to the movies, have lunch once a week/month. It's really not that hard. When Chelsea said she would have gone if Cole wasn't there. Hello! What about grandpa? Yes, they are really out of date.

I disagree: To turn an animal into a baby is wrong and I think cruel in and of itself. It makes the dog have to live the life of people and people not respecting the animal as an animal. -

The dog. It was gross enough that Zach said he woke up with dog hair in his teeth. Why in the world did they bring the dog to a house that has no dog? If Jeremy also owned a dog I can see asking. Jeremy was right about the dog doing fine without heat. In fact a dog like that is probably less comfortable indoors. We always had a hunting dog and only brought him indoors in extreme heat or cold. Even then he preferred the basement where it is cooler. Matt and Amy are the most miserable people I've seen in a long while. Amy - You don't use "and I" in a prepositional phrase. Easy way to remember is to always go to the box. Around the box, within the box, with the box etc. Didn't she work at a school? -
With 70k they should be able to leave her parents house, in my opinion.

Reza dropping the bomb of Mike's wife already in a relationship while they were filming. I need more! [stands, shouts, "Bravo"] Pun not intended but it worked out nicely, no? -

Me too! Was it on the west coast run? -
I wish the courts could somehow NOT let him give the 15% Coogan Law money back to his parents. Pretty shitty thing to do. These child performers need a court advocate to watch what goes on each year and not wait until they are 18 and discover what happened. I was impressed with Aaron though. His "manager" was definitely shady.

Hurray! I resorted to discussions at IMDB and no one else was talking. What a jerk! Who would follow a pastor that does not have his own house in order? Her poor parents. The poor kids. How embarrassing to now have your friends know you are living off your grandparents. It is just so unhealthy. I gave the side eye to the 70k too. What the hell?

Hmmmm, she filmed in Italy and now this........[gives side eye, walks away]

I get it! I have never made a dish from Rachel Ray that ever tasted good. There is always something off. I am a pretty good home cook.

I had to bring this post from Wednesday show over.....If we believe she believes this then wouldn't a woman who stood by her husband be a saint? Sorry Hillary Clinton not for you. WTF? Not much more to say. It is truly unbelievable.

Very interesting and astute take on things. I had not thought of that. -
I agree this charter group was very nice and must have been a pleasure to work with. When the captain went over their information he told Ben that the list for food choices for the main person was small and all the girls had the exact same thing. I did notice that the girls wanted to raid the fridge to finish off the salmon but Ben got up and fixed it for them. Danny kept those girls up for hours into the early morning when they had a shoot the next day. It looked to me like the girls were trying to be polite to him and not the other way around. His whole blather about getting tips depending on service .......I was yelling at the tv, "Not from a deckhand you idiot".

Both Jordan and Kyle looked very familiar to me. Maybe shopping their shit around shows? It is bugging me. Anyone?
