  1. I didn't like Christmas Perfection. The main character was so unlikeable and the story felt tedious. It kind of dragged along by the halfway mark until the end.
  2. I would've skipped the movie if I read the book first because the book was lackluster in comparison.
  3. I really enjoyed Jingle Belle. I love a good black Christmas movie especially when all the characters feel authentic and not forced. The casting was solid. It's been so long since I've seen Tempestt acting again. And Tatyana has a beautiful voice. Nice to hear her writing music and singing again. It's been so long. And she and Cornelius Smith Jr had great chemistry.
  4. I also wanted to point out that they kept the dialogue very close to the first book give or take a few scenes changed.
  5. Finally watched the movie. The book had been coming in my recommendations on Goodreads for years. Finally read it after watching the movie and I much prefer the movie. It was just a cute cheesy rom com. Even though it was for teens and I've been growing bored by YA now I enjoyed it more than I have adult rom coms recently. My nitpick is none of the sisters looked like they were actually related. I also wish Lana Condor would get more press for this movie. She really held her own as a lead and Lara Jean was very root-able. But she's not an attractive white male so... Noah did bring life to Peter and movie Peter was much more interesting than book Peter.
  6. Turning off Christmas in Graceland at 1/2 hr in. It's just annoying me and I feel like these accents are overexaggerated.
  7. I disagree I find The Neighborhood funnier. And I don't find this show living up to it's full potential. They barely do anything with the fact that Cooper is an international popstar. I'm basically watching a regular family sitcom. Now I do find myself laughing more than the earlier episodes though. But Mallard is the weakest link on the show.
  8. Why does Mal keep forcing Kummer? They have no chem and Kyle flip flops every week now.
  9. Came to post about the newly release Hallmark novel. Surprised this wasn't made into a movie yet. They’re from two different centuries, but they’re perfect for each other. Megan Turner is in love with the past. As a tour guide at a beautiful historic mansion, she tells visitors about its original owner, Charles Whitley. An inventor and businessman in the early 1900s, he rose from poverty to wealth…only to disappear without a trace. Charles was always intrigued by the future. He just never expected to go there. But when he repairs a mysterious clock he bought on his travels, he’s transported to the twenty-first century, with his home decorated for Christmas and overrun by strangers. Charles is determined to find a way back to his own era, especially when he learns about what happened after he left. But as Megan introduces him to the wonders of smartphones, pizza, and modern holiday traditions, they both feel a once-in-a-lifetime connection. Could it be that, somewhere in time, they belong together? This magical holiday romance includes a free Hallmark original recipe for Stuffed Crust Italian Pizza.
  10. I bought my tree from Balsam Hills this year back in July so I'm ready to have my own "perfect" Christmas.
  11. Lol at Charles Shaughnessy being in Christmas with a Prince this year and last year's My Christmas Prince.
  12. Hallmark does not do gay best friends. The moms on Facebook would have a heart attack. They were so upset about the gay in an Up Christmas movie a couple years ago you would've thought they showed to men kissing onscreen. In reality all he did was admit he wasnt interested in the lead because he was gay.
  13. Lindsey tried to play Kristina like an adult but she got beyond juvenile plotlines(whining about parents getting her into college, that reality show with the shaky camera, chasing a man she knew nothing about like a lost puppy). I always thought she had potential which was quickly seen since she moved on to The 100 a few months after GH. Even Lindsey said the character was an unlikable brat.
  14. I'm sure MB like CD because he'll never outshine him.
  15. Kristina was 21 back in 2012 so 27 now. And yes LA and CD needed to go along time ago. CD has always been listless and his version of Michael vanilla as hell. LA is awful yet they always give her heavy material or witty one liners and she pulls off neither heavy drama or comedy. They never quite got the casting or writing right after soras for either character.
  16. Christmas Camp is one of those books that was written to be a tie in to the movie which was already in the works. I read about it months ago with it being Netflix from the start. But the question was 2018 Netflix or 2019 Netflix.
  17. Why is Summer being made into a victim after she spent months pursuing Billy for sex? Why is Kyle coddling her after giving her that speech about no longer doing that? Can thye get rid of Shauna already? College can't come soon enough so they can get rid of all these bad acting teens. Why are we pretending she and Hilary had a strong super close relationship? They knew each other for a few months and even then Hilary didn't pay attention to her like she should've. Why must I endure Phyllis' hoarse screeching?
  18. The flip flop writing for Kyle today was not it. Don't buy for a second he regrets easing along Billy. Also he needed to get down from his moral high horse too because Ashley is not to blame for his actions.
  19. Please stop posting those pics. It's graphic and not everyone wants to see them.
  20. I just find the jokes where they include Copper to be extra corny and not funny
