  1. I'm glad Lori is facing the consequences of her actions. They're hitting her wear it hurts the most. Her pockets! The whole situation reeks of white privilege and I have no sympathy for her or her spoiled daughters.
  2. Yep we had a freeview on Direct TV for it twice now and it was only showing Little House on the Prairie reruns and a few Pixl movies
  3. Surprised they dropped her. Not surprised to see the many people on Facebook capping for her saying she doesnt deserve this over a simple mistake.
  4. There's a difference between being light skinned with two black parents and being half white. And experience racism doesnt change that. Biracial people experience racism but also have clear advantages over black people because of their white side regardless of skin tone.
  5. This show is just not funny at all
  6. Clem's father and sister are truly terrible!
  7. There's also Fake it Til You Break it which like TATBILB has a fake dating trope and whose publisher revealed they are working with a studio to develop their books into series and movies. https://www.swoonreads.com/blog/a-e-studios-partners-swoon-reads-develop-ya-tvfilm/ Mia and Jake have known each other their whole lives. They’ve endured summer vacations, Sunday brunches, even dentist visits together. Their mothers, who are best friends, are convinced that Mia and Jake would be the perfect couple, even though they can’t stand to be in the same room together. After Mia’s mom turns away yet another cute boy, Mia and Jake decide they’ve have had enough. Together, they hatch a plan to get their moms off their backs. Permanently. All they have to do is pretend to date and then stage the worst breakup of all time—and then they’ll be free. The only problem is, maybe Jake and Mia don’t hate each other as much as they once thought
  8. I've been seeing an interested in Korean YA stories lately. There's the recently released 29 DAtes which Disney already greenlit as a movie for their streaming platform. Unfortunately I didn't like the book when I read an advance of it. Hopefully they got a Korean writer for the movie because Melissa De La Cruz wrote it like some Korea boo fiction. On the plus side the lead is fully Asian with two Asian male love interests. https://www.google.com/amp/s/deadline.com/2018/12/29-dates-book-melissa-de-la-cruz-movie-disney-streaming-the-gotham-group-1202520374/amp/
  9. So glad this show is getting a second season.
  10. Forgot the mention her hair. In addition to the hideous blue Cindrella gown her hair should not have been left down with that cheap tiara. They should've done a nice updo.
  11. I missed the accent explanation. It was really wierd how she'd go from speaking like an American to putting on a half assed accent in scenes with her brother.
  12. Was getting my hair down last night and my stylist was watching Hallmark. What did everyone think of A Winter Princess? I thought the couple had chemistry though I felt more spark between the lead and her brother. Why did all the other royals have a British accents but her? It was very jarring. And she switched from speaking normally to speaking like a Disney Princess through the movie along with over exaggerated facial expressions. Her personality was too sugary sweet. And her ball gown at the end was hideous! They were going for Cinderella but instead went for tacky Homecoming Queen. I liked that the prince rival brought in was not a jerk unlike how they portray the princess rival in these movies. Loved at the shots of the ski resort and would've preferred more winter sport activity.
  13. It's been a long time A Man for Every Month premieres Feb 2 MEGAN (Carlson Young) is a quirky blogger at a large online news and entertainment company called Newsmaze. Content to sit behind her computer and post cat videos online, she doesn’t do a lot of dating. That all changes when her boss, BRENDA (Jolene Blalock), gives her a new assignment- she must go on a date with each of the 12 Bachelors they interviewed for their Man for Every Month column on eligible men. Megan freaks- she’s terrible at dating- and enlists the help of her beautiful roommate, Vanessa (Justene Alpert) to give her advice. Making everything worse is the fact that Megan must recap her dates in front of the camera for a live vlog directed by a cute new employee, Scott (Aaron Jakubenko). The dates are mostly disasters until Megan finally hits it off with Jack (Justin Deeley), an actor who seems just as quirky as she is.
  14. I don't expect the show to come back but they said season finale because this was the end of the season since they never got an extended episode order. Winter finale is usually used when a show goes away for a few weeks prior to Christmas to return in January. I guess they figured since they're not getting renewed might as well end on a good note with Claire pregnant.
  15. So I could've sworn the writers said they opted against a pregnancy in the 1st season. Yet wrote in pregnancy after Amber gives birth.
  16. They traded a black woman for a half white woman. Let's not sugar-coat
  17. Why is TLC determined to push this "friends" concept? It sucks! They need to go back to the show being set in big cities, with four random women, no extra scenes with the husbands, and an hour long format. I used to enjoy guessing the mystery honeymoon location but you couldn't miss that sign that said The Hideaway at Royalton being shown several times and being familiar with that hotel from when I was trying to book a trip to St. Lucia I knew it right away. To the poster above St. Lucia isn't anymore conservative then the rest of the Caribbean islands that policy was hotel specific. You should see Lucian Carnival.
  18. Can someone tell Lana's team that they don't need to push this special connection with Noah angle? It's 2019! People understand actor's don't need to date in real life to have onscreen chemistry. I know they wants the young teens who care about showmances to watch but trust they'll watch regardless. It's outdated thinking and an outdated method of promotion. Real Lana fans know she has a longterm boyfriend. No need to make up fake stories for promo.
  19. I dont miss Paul nor do I care about DD's feelings.
