  1. Sadly, the flight attendants didn't fix their vocal fry during the last 19 months.
  2. And you don't have to worry about a taxi driver taking off with your stuff!
  3. Oddly, I was fine with zip lining, but on the course I zipped, there was a very short, fairly low suspension bridge that I had trouble with. The zip line people laughed at me, and I don't blame them! That stupid bridge was maybe three feet off the ground, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to cross it. I did in the end, of course, but it took a LOT.
  4. The good part is that once you've done it once, you know you can do it again. Still terrifying, especially in the fog -- easy to take a wrong step -- but you know what to expect. Still, between the height and the steps, I'd be done by the time I got back.
  5. I would truly struggle, and probably have a death grip on the safety line the entire time.
  6. Where Phil is standing is completely terrifying. And that path is worse!
  7. I don't even care that all flights will be charter flights. Extra self-driving should be fun.
  8. It took me far longer than it should have, but I did come up with the correct response for FJ in plenty of time. I also got the TS of Chichen Itza and Prince Edward Island.
  9. Lake Placid. I'm watching now -- I love the dialogue and banter. Brendan Gleeson is priceless with his reactions and line delivery.
  10. In that case, I have no idea. I don't think I've seen that commercial, but I have been shopping for a new printer. I just saw one for some ED drug, but one of the sentences near the end of the ad said, "of ED", and when that was slurred together as it was in the ad, it sounded like "a VD", which confused me mightily for a second.
  11. I didn't get FJ last night, but it was another one of those that I feel like I should have known. And I only got the missed DD of brain stem out of all the missed clues.
  12. Saw this last night, and I hated almost every single character. They were all a bunch of assholes, and Mikey was the biggest one of all. I can't believe anyone fell for his bullshit, and mostly I wanted him to be hit by the train. Especially after he let poor Lonnie take 100% of the blame for the wreck. I guess Lil and Lexi had his number from the beginning, though they seemed to get sucked in, too. I did like June. She was totally bad ass and definitely had Mikey's number. And I suppose I can make excuses for Strawberry, since she was only 17, and maybe didn't know any better, but damn, girl. Mikey's what? 35? 40? Not to mention a lying sack of shit? I really hope she came to her senses and stayed home and in school. The dog was pretty, and pretty chill. I did sort of feel bad for Lonnie's father. Otherwise, though, they were not a likable bunch.
  13. I took that as a parody of sorts — usually it’s the kid on the phone all the time while the parent is enjoying the lake.
  14. Because some of those printers actually monitor your usage and send a message to the company when you start to run low on ink. They then send you new ink, so in theory you never run out.
  15. That's an... interesting casting choice. I mean, I love Daniel Radcliffe, but as Weird Al? For one thing, isn't Weird Al, y'know, tall?
  16. I just saw this one for the first time! Do the yogurt people think that horrible screeching will make me want to buy their yogurt?
  17. I know, I just love that Knives Out house so much!
  18. Sort of. Chewy did say he knew the secret, so Bob believed he was on safe ground. In an ideal world, Bob would have asked, "What secret?" instead of assuming. Major props to Olu and Tunde for standing up for Morenike in the end. It definitely got a little dusty in here when they all sat together in church.
  19. Instaget FJ for me tonight. I also got the TS of Huron, Hedy Lamarr, and Mercury (on a guess). I can't think about Hedy Lamarr without thinking about Blazing Saddles. And of course I knew Christopher Wren immediately.
