  1. I'd bet we'll see him flash back to that comment when Ivy mentions that it felt kind of like she was pushed.
  2. I thought the Spencer name was to honor his relationships with all three of Laura, Lucky, and Lulu. And part of the reason was kind of because Helena and Stefan would hate it - because he was trying to rid the next generation of every trace of the Cassadine/Spencer antagonism, by symbolically naming his son as part of both families.
  3. Not gonna lie, so did I. It was just so dismissive. I loved it.
  4. Or pulling a Lorenzo/Carly deal, rescuing him from whoever is currently holding him to hold him herself.
  5. I can see it to a point, but... These two have a huge history of misunderstandings and jumping wildly into another relationship the second one of those misunderstandings occur. The second he thought he was going to be late (we're talking before Ivy fell in, when they were already making their mad dash through the streets), he should have chucked the idea of the "surprise" being in them coming face to face and let it be "surprise, I'm in Paris, and the traffic sucks! Please wait just a little longer, and I'll be there with you." I had to laugh today at Liam's "it's easy to be the bigger man when you've won" (I'm paraphrasing here, but that was the gist of it). Well, yeah, just like you were Mr. Magnanimous when you were the one who had Hope. Liam has literally zero self-awareness, doesn't he? He doesn't see himself in the actions of either Hope or Wyatt, despite the rather blatant similarities. He seems so genuinely dumbfounded and pissed that people would act exactly how he would act in their shoes.
  6. Julia Roberts was obnoxious and tacky. The way she perked up at reading MM and WH's names on the nominee list and deadpanned everyone else's was just so inappropriate. I'm sure many of the presenters would have loved to be presenting an award to a friend, but she was the only one who let her disappointment show when the winner was not one of her buddies. And I just laughed during the red carpet show on E! when they were blathering on about how sweet and wonderful Julia is, when she's pretty well known for being a class A bitch.
  7. You think high school? Because he screams preschool dropout to me. It would explain so much.
  8. I think it would be hilarious to watch Taylor take this on, ethics be damned. So, she was married to the patient. So she has treated the woman he claims he wants to marry (and blew her life to bits in a public way, for her own petty shits and giggles). I can almost guarantee her prescribed therapy would involve breaking off his engagement and proposing to his shrink, via skywriting that contains the specific language "so, neener, neener, Brooke Logan, Saint Taylor wins. Suck on it."
  9. I'm trying to remember - did the Luke/Fluke switch originally take place when he and Scott were locked up by Heather's minions? It's been so long, and so much crap has gone down on this show since then, I can't recall.
  10. I can't be the only one secretly hoping Matt LeBlanc would re-enact Joey losing the soap award when he lost to Parsons? And Amy Poehler not having won for Parks yet is criminal.
  11. I haven't seen today's show yet. So, what you're telling me is that Ron needs to even ruin little infrequent appearance recurring characters we like?
  12. And then he goes on to tell someone that, essentially, they just don't "get" Ron's sense of humor. Like his numerous pissfits on Twitter are just him joking? Yeah...no.
  13. Agreed. BA wasn't bad, but Spinelli was the worst. (Well, he became that way some time after getting together with Maxie. I remember not hating him, as hard as it feels to believe that now.)
  14. Ah, that was it. I remember it being discussed, but didn't remember if I actually saw it happen. Since I don't catch every episode, I assumed it must have been on a day I didn't see.
  15. This is why I still think Hope wanted the go ahead to go back to Wyatt, on some level. If you look at every break up (or whatever you want to call them) that these two have had, at least one of them was, at least subconsciously, doing what they wanted to. Liam waffled right over to Steffy the first time because Hope had made the decision to put off sex until marriage, which he did not agree with, and Steffy was offering it up on a silver platter. When Hope was late to their Italy wedding, Liam was already to hop on a plane with Steffy because he was still feeling conflicted about the end of their relationship. When he showed up for their next wedding attempt hungover, and looking like shit, that was such clear self-sabotage. He had been building up anger because of how Hope punished him by tearing up the official documents from the Italy wedding because she was (rightfully) pissed that, instead of seeking her out to see what was wrong, he just immediately turned to Steffy. When Hope saw Liam and Steffy together before their last wedding attempt, she was quick to take off with Wyatt because she had been attracted to him and this was her chance to explore that, while blaming Liam. These two really need to stop trying to get married. After the 3rd or so botched wedding, you need to start looking at it as a sign.
  16. I thought Hope talking about her perspective was a (really bad) attempt in the writing to have Hope explain to Liam that, while she now knows what actually happened, at the time, she had zero idea - her perspective was that he was hesitant to come to Paris the last time they discussed it, and he didn't show up, so, message received by her. Of course, given their past, that is idiocy, but, well, it's Hope and Liam.
  17. I don't see where Ron has tossed RH aside, really. He's in the thick of the Sonny killed AJ story, and he seems likely to be heading to a pairing with Ron's shiny new toy, Nina. If Ron was bored and wanted to toss RH aside, he'd just have him reduced to carrying Carly's purse.
  18. I thought we had a brief appearance by an ex of Wyatt's earlier this year, didn't we?
  19. If they genuinely wanted BM, and who knows what's in FrankenRon's head these days, what they'd be smart to do is focus on the issue that is said to have pushed him out at Y&R - give him time off to do outside projects. For someone looking to break into prime time/movies, the ideal "day job" would be one that helps them keep some level of income coming in while they're free to take on other roles when they come up. Between pre-taping and studio "dark" time, they should be able to keep him regularly involved on the canvas while still allowing him to pursue other work.
  20. B&B does have nicer sets, but I think those location shoots are largely possible because of how insanely popular the show is overseas. I think some areas are basically subsidizing those shoots as tourism ads.
  21. Not to mention, at some point, I'd see it being a problem for quality, in that, if something is clearly not working for your audience, it's harder to switch gears when you're taping far ahead.
  22. I'm glad I wasn't around for Donna/Ridge. My mind refuses to conceive of it. TK and HM continue to prove that, no, you actually can't just throw two good actors together and make a pairing. The have pretty much zero chemistry. Add in some of the crappiest "romance" writing ever, and, well... As I write this, I'm watching Austin & Ally on the Disney Channel with my kid, and the teenage leads of that show have a world more chemistry than Ridge/Katie.
  23. I'm sure Sonny's reasoning is something like "well, I'm a professional who has to do that for business! Franco's just am amateur horning in on my business!" Agreed. I think just the fact that so many of us are so pissed off at Patrick now is a sign that he's actually selling the shitty, shitty, stuff Ron's giving him to do. This. I hate that every regime just seems to want to use Liz as a reliable leg for whatever triangle they're trying to sell, and they don't care what kind of character destruction they need to do to Liz to get their stories, because they figure that Becky's fanbase will stick with her no matter what shit they do to Liz. Liz and Matt had a shit ton of chemistry, and the show just threw it away for...reasons. Or something.
  24. Knowing Ron and Tony, Luke will kill Fluke. Tony won't be able to resist "killing himself" like that.
