Ivy should have said something along the lines of "that you even think that shows the kind of woman you're into, and that's not me." I just don't get this show. Are we supposed to all feel this rush of "finally, after everything that has conspired to keep these two crazy kids apart!" love for Liam telling Steffy they can be together now?

So they hurt Tracy, almost got Luke raped, and are probably ruining their sister's marriage. They couldn't have just bought him a bottle of booze for Father's Day?

Well, of course, Michael stole her! Oh, you mean her actual child? Yeah, she's been left to her own devices for so long, she's probably the one who kidnapped Lucky.

Her parents are the worst. Bringing your underage child to clubs and exposing them to drinking and drugs at an early age because you want to live vicariously through their fame is so disgusting and messed up. I think that, at some point, some of these parents almost prefer their kids to be drinking or using, because it makes them less likely to become strong and independent enough to take over their own lives and get out of the business.

Few people in the world disgust me more than the grasping stage parents. It's just so gross to look at your child as your meal ticket and put that pressure on them.

It's ridiculous that she is terrified to tell Nik (presumably because the bad guys will know she told), but she sits around having on person and over the phone conversations with Dillon about it multiple times per day. Yeah, risk bringing in the fucking filmmaker, but don't bring in your husband, the cop, who has experience with this shit. Makes total sense. And Dante not just flat out saying to her "I know you're hiding something, you need to let me in here," is absurd. ...Sigh...Why you bringing up old stuff? It was all Olivia's fault! If she had just told him Dante was his son, he (probably) never would have shot him point blank in the chest! Geez! Cue bar ware flinging.

I got the impression that it was blackmail when Lucy said to Nik something to the effect of "I was only supposed to vote to keep you on the board." I really can't remember the exact wording, but it was clear, to me, that she was acting under some kind of duress from Nik there. Either that or LH feels like this shit makes absolutely no sense at all, and she's adding her own layers to it in her performance. If this isn't tied into the Lucky kidnapping, and it is just Nik being a douchebag, I hope that, when Lucky eventually resurfaces, he reams Nik out for betraying Em's memory by using her as an excuse to steal the company of the family she loved.

I really hope that was just her cover story and the reality is that Nik is blackmailing her somehow. It seemed to me that it was how LH played it at vote time.

The guy who cheated on her because she didn't get over being raped by his doppelganger quickly enough for his needs. Who was that again?

The Liam/Steffy montages crack me up, because pretty much every clip in them, you can say "and right there? He was pining for Hope" or "oh, yeah, that's when she was conspiring with his father to keep him away from Hope." Such a grand love story these two share.

I've seen a lot of her whining, but I missed this one. She needs to let it go. It's coming across like she's now trying to rile people up at the idea that this is racial in order to get the job she's clearly desperate for, and it's kind of gross. The character wasn't "killed" and the black girl wasn't "run out of town." I saw a mature, happy, married adult woman who was self aware enough to understand that she has lingering issues from her own childhood that were making her question whether she was ready to be a mother, and she decided to talk that over with someone from her past who understands that better than anyone else she knows. That mature woman then returned the favor by encouraging Shawn to open himself up to starting a new relationship and doing what she's done - use the things they learned and experienced in their young relationship years ago to build on and hopefully create a new, more mature relationship in his adult life. How does she think any of that "kills" her character? If anything, the gracious, mature way Angela behaved (which is far away from the petulant child Trina is showing herself to be), seems to make it more likely that the character can, at some point, return in some capacity. Would it be as Shawn's love interest? Probably not. But if she views her character as only viable as "the love interest" then that's her problem. Disney had the same problem on Shake It Up, towards the end of its run, where Rocky (Zendaya) had all kinds of inappropriate chemistry with the new producer (or whatever role the guy played) on their dance show. At times, it seemed like they were almost intentionally playing it up. As for Maya/Shawn, if this wasn't a Disney show, I'd expect them to play something along the lines of Maya having a crush on him and being somewhat jealous that he was into her mother and only saw her as a daughter figure. But, since this is Disney and that story is never happening here, I hope that they don't play that chemistry up. You can't shut it down completely, because chemistry just is, but they need to be aware of it when writing and staging their scenes.

If they're going to make Ivy a schemer, I kind of hope that we get an old school soap story where the two people scheming together to keep their respective love interests (in this case, Ivy and Wyatt scheming to keep WafflePong and Madame), end up falling for each other and leave those two asses in the dust. And, please, can we get some Liam/Quinn hatesex? Please?? Because that is, by far, where Liam has the most chemistry.

Whenever the extreme right conspiracy theorists start whining that President Obama is going to (somehow) remove term limits to go for a 3rd term*, I think that their real fear is that, without term limits, Bill would get right back in there, and pretty much end up POTUS for life. *And dear Lord, why would Pres. Obama even want 4 more years of the hell he's gone through? I'm guessing there are a whole bunch of people in Washington who he will be very happy to never see or speak to again come January 2017.

She's 57? Either she has aged incredibly well, or she's had some really good work done and needs to give the name of her surgeon to some other soap actresses. I agree that she's not a good fit as Jennifer Smith as we've known her in the past. Maybe she's some other member of the Smith family who we haven't seen before? Or some new member of the Cassadine family? (Physically, she looks like she could be related to the Cassadines we currently have on screen). I just saw on another site that there is speculation that Rosalie's secret is some biological connection to the Cassadine family. Maybe HG is going to play her mother?

I assume that, whether it was you thinking you read it or someone actually writing it, a severe fever dream had to be involved. Or Ron wrote it. I think they were successful in the beginning (well, sans the whole way that relationship began). But it went south, like so much that starts out promising ends up doing on this show. It's really been degrading to the character of Tracy while simultaneously trashing Luke into someone it's impossible to root for any longer. I think Ron was actually really, really good at times on OLTL (more before he started buying his own press so much). Part of that may be because he knows that show much better than he knows GH (despite his professed love of GH). And there have been some moments on GH where he's been quite good, as well. The issues, aside from his own ego, are things like poor follow up once he gets to whatever "big moment" he has been building to. He has a tendency to get laser focused on one story line for a stretch of time, and then he gets distracted by his new shiny toy once he gets the moment he wanted, and he leaves the aftermath dangling while he goes wandering off to his next big moment. And then, of course, there is his determination that whatever interests him is what interests his audience, and any viewer who dares to feel differently is just a "hater." Of course, I can't forget the entirely too heavy emphasis he places on things being a surprise, to the point of not having a logical build up to that surprise.

The only thing I could remotely guess there was that they were going for "Riley knows Lucas so well and how much of a good guy he is that she just 'knew' he would have gone to volunteer." I was offended on Cory's behalf at that line. All through season 1, we saw him do his best to be as much of a father as he could be for her. Two instances that stick out are when he bought her a smartphone and found a way to give it to her without it feeling overtly like "charity," and the father/daughter dance.Of course there were countless other examples, too, pretty much every episode. I get that Shawn is going to move into even more of a "father" role in her life, but Cory has filled it admirably in the past, and it's insulting that the show now wants to erase all of that. She comes across as so desperate. She's acting like her not being in this series as a regular is some sort of racial statement. The reality is, there's really no place for her on an ongoing basis, and it has zip to do with the color of her skin. The show is about the girls, for the most part, and the adults that are in there are there for the ties they have to the girls. Obviously, they wanted to find some way to keep Shawn around as much as possible for the Cory/Shawn nostalgia factor, but they've done so in a way that ties him in to the girls. Eric showed up to help resolve a problem between the girls. There's no ongoing story in Angela and the girls. And her not getting to play a role as long as she wants to is in no way, shape or form, similar to Caitlyn Jenner feeling able to be herself. I mean, seriously, what the hell, Trina?

I didn't see Angela not being satisfied in her marriage. She said to Shawn that their relationship was basically a place for both of them to learn and grow from, so they were ready for more meaningful relationships. She didn't seem jealous or anything like that about him moving on with Katie. She essentially told him to do so. She came to Shawn because she knows that he is the one person in her life who truly gets the whole "abandoned" thing that left her feeling like she could never be a good mother. She and Shawn talked about that during their time together, and he shares the abandonment experience. It felt to me like this (having kids) is something she wants to do, but she needed that boost of talking to someone else who understands where she's been to get their take on it. He gave her the push she needed to move forward, and then she returned the favor by giving him a push towards Katie and Maya. I got lingering affection out of their scenes, but no pining for each other and no questions, in Angela's mind, about her relationship with her husband. I also think the concerns people had that Angela would be playing the "villain" to the Shawn/Maya/Katie thing weren't realized in the episode. She was lovely, caring, and honest. I mean, she had Cruella's hair, but that was the only thing remotely "villain" about her tonight.

AB even looks beautiful crying. And she is definitely too good for Waffles. (But, girl, grab a spine!) The only reason I want Steffy to hook up with Wyatt is so that we can see yet another woman be way more into Wyatt, in the physical sense, than she is his waffling brother. And we all know what's coming here: Ivy will keep her citizenship status from Waffles. Wyatt and/or Quinn will find out and help her, so Wyatt can have the "prize" that is Madame. At least we'll get more Ivy/Quinn scenes out of it?
