  1. Came here to post that, malibu! It looks TRASHTASTIC and I can't wait.
  2. I wonder if Josiah and Julia are actually friends, or if they were just thrown together to film because they're both in England.
  3. My problem with Francesca is that she ridicules more often or points out problems, rather than correcting them. For instance, last (?) episode when she noted how Elizabeth pours wine. She didn't correct Elizabeth - at least we didn't see it - but rather made snotty remarks about her technique. I feel that Bugsy and Kate certainly would have taught her how to hold the bottle properly, and not do so meanly. While I think Elizabeth is making a lot out of how Francesca is treating her, I do think there's something to her thought that there's a personal dislike there. Also: I love seeing Captain Lee get mad! Cut short that charter!
  4. Lord Berbrooke is also in Derry Girls as Ciaran, the photo-shop guy.
  5. I was completely surprised to learn so much about Emerald Fennell from this New York Times article. She's so multidimensional, and I want to see everything she has a hand in.
  6. He needed to seek anger management classes when he trashed Reza and Adam's garden.
  7. Always take Page Six with a grain of salt, but they overheard an MJ conversation about her marriage being on the rocks.
  8. I think that his and Brittany's departure from VPR - whether voluntary or involuntary - speeds up the couple's divorce timeline by at LEAST a year. They'll be together much more, there's a baby in the picture, they're both unemployed, I anticipate that Brittany will push to move back to Kentucky ... I'm interested to see what will happen.
  9. Variety agrees with you, reporting that they were fired (well, Jax was fired, at least)
  10. Exactly, oakville and Jsage. Even at the beginning of the season, Captain Lee made sure to tell the crew that he wanted no repeat of the past season with the threatening masculinity (was that the phrase he used? Something like that). I'm okay with some snoozefest episodes here and there if it means there's no misogyny, sexual harassment, and disgusting behavior.
  11. I literally cheered out loud when Jolene showed up. I felt like *I* was seeing an old friend again! She was that breath of fresh air that Beth needed, just at the right time.
  12. Izzy phrased her request wrong. She should have said, "Captain, if it's easier for you to find a stew rather than a deckhand, I'd be happy to move to the exterior." That way she'd look like a team player rather than a complainer.
  13. I'm trying to judge Francesca on being Francesca and not being Not-Kate. But melting down in front of Captain Lee, during the first charter, no less, doesn't bode well for my good opinion.
  14. Yeah, Sandy motivates me to stop watching any season she's on!
  15. They will be leaving in the bulimia, with TW/CW at the beginning of those episodes.
  16. If it makes her look better, I wouldn't put it past her.
  17. Kiko continues to show what a class act he is. He has come out of the show behaving kindly, humbly, and with a terrific attitude. Out of everyone, he's the one I would want to hire - even though he was the one who was fired!
  18. I lost it with Sandy, not for the first, and, I'm sure, not the last time when she lamented how hard it was to "have to lose" Hannah and Kiko. No, bitch, you FIRED them, you didn't "lose" them due to an accident or circumstance. It was your choice to get rid of them, so don't play that pity card. Ugh, I hate her. The only cast members I didn't loathe were Alex and Bugsy. Alex I liked, Bugsy I tolerated.
  19. The photos of the next season have me chomping at the bit for it to start. I cannot WAIT!
  20. According to Lala, apparently they all had a pregnancy pact (barf).
  21. Sandy's walked it back now, but insufficiently, in my opinion. Excuses, excuses.
  22. I think the trailer looks great - and I'm excited to see Eddie back again!
  23. Hannah's calm demeanor in the face of Sandy's near-hysterics impressed me, but I also imagine that Hannah may have felt some sense of relief. So far this season, Hannah's said in multiple talking heads, or commented otherwise that she's felt frustrated, angry, hasn't felt like herself (which Sandy has nastily commented on, too) and had to deal with Lara's existence and Kiko's departure, so this confrontation with Sandy may have come as more of a welcome release than anything. Why argue with Sandy - which would give the latter exactly what she wanted - when Hannah could just remain silent and with a minimum of fuss, get out of a situation causing her extreme stress? It's brilliant, honestly.
  24. Jim Parsons is the first guest on David Tennant's podcast David Tennant Does a Podcast With..., which is how I found out about this show, and why I'm watching it. He talks a good bit about playing Henry Wilson, what a vile man he is, and some bits later we'll see in future episodes (spoilers!)
