So if they had no plans to end with Mercedes and Sam together and only used Mercedes to "hold" Sam until they handed him to Rachel why have Mercedes give her virginity to Sam? It's a good thing Amber was able to get them to change that.

Well said. Mercedes and Sam were the reason I started watching this show last season. I really shouldn't have let myself think that maybe this will be different.

Ratings and Scheduling: Still More Numbers to Decipher
GodsBeloved replied to Kris117's topic in Person Of Interest [V]
The first season and a half may be boring to you but the fact is according to the measure we have (Nielsen) , the earlier seasons had more eyes watching live plus the plus 7. More people cared enough/were interested enough in the show to take the time to watch it. Season 1 is the best PoI I have seen. I would rematch the entire season several times. Season 2 wasn't as engrossing but had some episodes that I would rematch several times. Season 3 was less engrossing than season 2. Whether the earlier seasons were better or the later/current season is better is a matter of taste/subjective. The numbers are objective. The numbers don't indicate how good the show is though because again that is subjective/a matter of taste. -

Regarding the plus 7 ratings gain, PoI isn't doing anything extraordinary there. CF and Forever have been gaining around a point with plus 7 as well. The advertisers don't care about how many people watch PoI. They care about how many people watch the ads. If that plus 7 segment do not watch the ads, they don't matter to the ones dishing out the cash. -
Judith: Little Asskicker
GodsBeloved replied to RedheadZombie's topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
If Judith not only caught a contagious but deadly disease ... I LOL at the image of Rick walking in on Carol "taking care of" Judith. I'll put myself in a corner now. -
Tyreese: Baby Carrier, Reluctant Warrior
GodsBeloved replied to Omar G.'s topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
Me too. If my guess is right, if he dies to save someone I hope its Sasha. -
What you said. Balanced and fair. I think I'll focus on your posts LOL

A logical question but this show is holding up less and less when logic is applied.

Has it been established on the show or on TD that the Termites found the church because Martin lived? Or is this just fan speculation? Also, the talk about Rick not staying at the hospital because he didn't want to expose his kids to rapists, was it said that Rick knew about that or is that too just fan speculation?
-
I can see Rick doing it. If it comes down to Carl and Judith and a member of the group, he's going to choose Carl and Judith. Sure he thought better of it after he set things in motion but he did turn Michonne over even after hearing what Merle said the Governor was likely to do to Michonne. I also think the reason he subsequently changed his mind was Merle's comment about handing Michonne over for "a shot". I think Rick could no longer justify his actions (handing Michonne over = safety for the group) and faced the fact that handing Michonne over guaranteed nothing. Also, being told by junkie, redneck Merle that he was cold as ice(for turning over a Nubian Queen to be tortured) probably got under Rick's skin and messed with his pride LOL

Carol: One Day You Just Change
GodsBeloved replied to David T. Cole's topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
Regarding Carol's reaction to Tyreese not killing Martin, if she hasn't forgotten her own actions I would think she would understand someone not owning up to their actions. She should also understand making a unilateral decision that wasn't the best course of action. Somewhere the comment was made that if Rick and Carol knew Tyreese didn't kill Martin he(Tyreese) would be left by the side of the road. If Rick owes Carol and part of that is because Judith lives, Rick owes Tyreese AT LEAST as much where Judith is concerned. Tyreese should have some good will from the Emperior and Carol best go along otherwise she might find herself hit by a car again and this time find a bullet in her skull LOL -
i agree. When I saw Tyreese being blamed for Bob's death I wondered how it was his fault Bob got bitten. Also wondered how after being back with her group that it was Tyreese's fault that Beth chose to walk back over to Dawn, stab her and get a bullet through her head. I also wonder why I should believe that Rick's plan would have turned out better. Sure it could have but it could have turned out worse. My impression of cop Bob has changed from last week. Yeah I think he's black now.

Final ratings for 11/25 episode 1.7/9.04 Source -
Actually Elias was the potential victim in season 1. The Russians were after him.
-
No problem. I didn't see Men in Tights so I never would have gotten it :)
-
I have no issue if he is suppose to be black. As I said before, Bob being black was not my impression.
-
I have no idea if you are missing something. Light skinned black man wasn't my impression is all.
-
Bob2 is black?

My point isn't about Tyreese doing "the job" if by job you mean Rick is right, kill the bad ones and then kill the corpse. The only thing I was talking about was saving Judith. That is the job Tyreese did in the cabin. It is a fact that when Tyreese was the only one there to act to keep Judith alive, he took action and Judith is still breathing. I also believe if it took killing someone to save Judith, Tyreese would do it. That is my point. My point is not about Tyreese taking retribution on the guy who threatened Judith or killing the bad ones. The fact that Tyreese didn't kill the guy simply proves that it wasn't a necessary thing to do in order to save Judith's life.
-
Tyreese walked out of the cabin or whatever that was with a living, breathing Judith so clearly he did what it took to save Judith. I am unclear on how the above disproves my opinion, which is that Tyreese will do WHATEVER it takes to save Judith.
-
I think Tyreese is going to die. I just hope its to save his sister. Also, Beth may bite it too and Michonne is being set up to be the new nanny. I wondered why Rick didn't hand Judith to her brother instead of Michonne. Jeez I don't want Michonne being Judith's new "mommy". Beth come back!! COME BACK!!!!!!
-
I think most people think what they care about is more important than what others care about. I think that's true of many in this group. Yes I think Tyreese would have helped Noah. Just because they were in the same group, I don't think I have to assume that Tyreese had a direct tie to Lizzie and Mika yet he took them on when escaping the prison. But if he is to be considered selfish if he would not have helped Noah, then he would not be much different than hero Rick who did not help backpack guy. LOL about Judith.
-
If this was true Judith would be Walker chow. A selfish and self centered person would not have picked up dead weight, which Judith is, when escaping for his life. Talk about useless. That is Judith's middle name. She brings nothing to the table. Say what you will about Tyreese (and Gabriel). They have the ability to bring SOMETHING to the table. Judith doesn't. In spite of this, Tyreese saved her instead of running to save his hide alone. He took on a total liability so clearly he wasn't being selfish and thinking only of himself. Of course he fought off the walkers that were attacking HIM yet his selfish self came back inside instead of running and leaving Judith with Garth.
-
I think the same can be said of Tyreese. I don't think for one second he hesitated in snatching Judith up knowing that it would be that much harder for him to survive. I have a hard time buying that Tyreese wouldn't do everything in his power to protect Judith even if it means killing someone. Not that Tyreese needs Rick's trust but I'm not sure what more Tyreese needs to do. Tyreese already saved/protected Judith to an extent no one else has.
