Another good point. Daryl was with that horrible group and he went along to survive.
-
That's a good point. Tyreese did make a comment about what if bullets start flying everywhere.
-
Carl was there and Rick knows he will kill a human so it wasn't as if there was no one left behind who would not kill humans. Plus how exactly does Rick know that Tyreese won't kill a human? Rick knows for a fact that Judith survived with Tyreese for several days out in the open so I'm not sure why he'd be afraid to leave her with Tyreese in a boarded up church with Carl and weapons.
-
What I kept thinking during the episode ... they need to find a muzzle for Judith.

Final ratings for 11/8 episode 1.6/9.87 Source Considering CF got a 2.1 this week vs 2.2 last week, I'm not sure how much blame for PoI's 1.3 is attributed to the crossover. -
LOL There is hope for Noah then.
-
Agreed. Add to this the fact that Daryl and carol had the weapons back and it was them against one guy with an injuried leg ... Why not give the boy a fighting chance against the walker instead of leaving him to certain death? They are suppose to be the decent ones.

I agree. The core characters/group aren't the only "decent" people running around. They can't be. Oh my! I LOVE when abuelita comes out. I love when she asks Who are these men and then says to Rick Come, come and leads him by the hand to Glen. I RR then scene a few times when I watch that episode. We thought you werer being eaten by dogs man!! LOL I had a feeling we wouldn't see who was with Daryl in this episode. Regarding Carol "going in" on purpose, I'm lost on that one. Why would she go in "naked" like that? Did she meet up with Noah and he told her the set up and she thinks she can take them all down?

I'm not arguing against any of this. This incident was used as an example of Tyreese not killing walkers because they weren't attacking him and then leaving someone on their own to deal with the threat. Looking back at my post I wasn't clear. The above was meant to convey a scenario where Tyreese refused to jump in and help someone who was at a disadvantage against walkers. Now if you are going to say Carol was at a disadvantage with the single walker when she fell to the ground with, I don't share that perspective. Season 1 Carol sure. This Carol? Falling to the ground with a single walker is child's play for her. Thanks
-
That's how I remember it. As I mentioned before, it played like only one would handle the walker and Carol was just as capable as Tyreese in that situation. Sorry if this has been asked and answered but what did Rick say to Tyreese when Tyreese was digging that grave?
-
The way it was played, I thought one would hold Judith while the other killed the walker. Had Carol kept Judith and Tyreese went to kill the walker, I don't think anyone would say Carol left Tyreese on his own. Plus Carol is very capable of taking on a single walker so it wasn't as if Tyreese stood by and let an inept person handle the walker.
-
If this is the case, I hope the writers show Tyreese sitting on his hands and leaving someone on their own to fight off walkers. Considering Tyreese risked his life to save Judith, it would be a shock if he refused to help someone (kill walkers) when he is the only help available.
-
I think Tyreese has come to terms with killing walkers. He has expressed that he doesn't like it and even said he can't but when the chips are down and its necessary, Tyreese has killed walkers.
-
Well said, especially the part about not wanting the killing of people to be more brutal than it needs to be. The thing I would add though is Rick did help Randall.
-
Didn't Tyreese say he didn't think they should tel lthe group Lizze? If I'm remembering correctly, why would Carol think he told them?

The previous week NCIS got a 2.5/17.26. NCIS:NO got 2.2/16.14. When they went up against the WO on 10-21, NCIS got a 2.4/17.13. NCIS:NO got 2.4/16.13. It looks like the World Series had very little if any affect on CBS's Tuesday night lineup. -
I don't see the show sending this message and I at least don't think this is the only way to hold onto your humanity. I was all for Rick going back go get the Termites. I was all for Carol putting Mary down. I was all for them ending the Termites. I think you are open to losing (some of)your humanity when you are brutal when it isn't necessary to attain your goal. Morrigan2575 said it eloquently:
-
No I didn't. I thought good Tyreese is going to do it for his sister. I was expecting more from Rick's plan to get the Termites. Maybe it was his asking if they were up to it (I hope I'm remembering that correctly). But anywho, the "reveal" that part of the group were still at the chruch was an Is that it??? moment. As with Tyreese and Martin, I was irriated that Rick sat there and let Gareth talk ... just put him down already! And Judith, bless her little head. Now there is a liability. I wonder if they will ever show her crying at an inopportune moment and calamity befalls the group.

Michonne: A Weapon with a Weapon
GodsBeloved replied to Omar G.'s topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
I could get on board with this. M&M! -
Regarding the scene in the woods, my impression was Lori was startled by Shane but I didn't think that was their foreplay. I definitely didn't see the encounter at the CDC as even possibly being "their way". I may go back and look at the two scenes back to back to see Lori's reactions. I definitely agree that explainig the rules was unnecessary. At that point, Lori had made things pretty clear to Shane. He couldn't have been that obtuse.

Plus its always came from Carol. I don't recall Darryl "flirting" back. I actually didn't care for Carol's actions there. She came off as desperate to me and maybe its because I never got the feeling Darryl was comfortable with it and never seemed to return the flirting. -
Michonne: A Weapon with a Weapon
GodsBeloved replied to Omar G.'s topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
I don't see the comparison because post hair Samson lost his strength. Post katana Michonne is still a BAMF zombie killer. I haven't see any of this. I hope not but it will be triple worse if Michonne has to give up or lower her BAness so Rick doesn't look like a girl.
