  1. I was not interested in Thor 3 at all, but people were raving after the trailer came out, so I watched, and it does look fun! Here for costume/production design porn and the non-Earth setting. Comedic Helmsworth is a bonus. My ignorance about the source material is going to help my enjoyment a lot.
  2. Can't really muster up much comments on this one. This was sort of a transition episode. Like some of you, I'm glad that they seem to be wrapping up Reade's coach/drug storyline. I'm neutral about Nas leaving; I think she'll probably be back for one or two episodes later (my speculation).
  3. I'm glad you recognize this. Those both would have options no matter who they cast since she was a variation of the comic character.
  4. Prison Break. So just maybe the premise that it was always the plan to never have Katie Cassidy set foot on an Arrow set again is inaccurate?
  5. Seriously, someone give me another example of a supporting actor that "forced" a show to keep giving them work. I really don't think that's how Hollywood works. (Especially for women.) Contracts can be broken; you pay the penalty and move on.
  6. Oh that is SUPER cringey. To put it mildly.

    S03.E17: Duet

I completely 'ship Barry and Kara... as friends. I feel they're a little too similar to each other to work as a romantic couple. It's more like both Grant and Melissa are those type actors that have chemistry with nearly everyone. Yeah, Barry needs someone opposite his personality.
  8. That one time I was alone in the (dorm) laundry room and someone else walked in just when I had my hand halfway up my butt, pulling out a wedgie.
  9. With Gypsy, I want to keep her as recurring, just so they have less chance to screw her up.
  10. JL Martin and Tom Felton hanging out: I kinda want to keep Felton on the show, but we need less dudes and more ladies.
  11. So I only caught up on this once I found out it was cancelled; and this would have been the episode where I'd drop the show. But since there's only one more anyway, I'll watch that just to be 'completist'. I guess it's good that they've set up this whole other mystery/conspiracy to expand the premise of the show -- not a bad idea -- but I'm not at all interested. (And it seems a departure from how they've marketed the show?) Gonna miss Barrowman shirtless, though!
  12. I call it "Matthew Broderick syndrome". :)
  13. I think that the whole Guardian thing was also to have more action scenes on the show. (CW request?) But I agree with all of this, they need to find a way to have CatCo/James relevant again. Mehcad has been wasted.
  14. I'd stay Dominic definitely looks a bit older, and Wentworth is like 50% gray now. But otherwise, yeah, they all look pretty much the same. Hollywood!
  15. So, what songs do you think have the best chance at getting Emmy nominations? (Last year "Settle for Me" got a nomination.) I thinking "Tell Me I'm Okay", "Math of Love Triangles", or "Friendtopia". Maybe... "We Tapped That Ass". The new theme song can nominated for 'Original Main Title Theme Music'. And they'll probably get another nomination for choreography.
  16. Here for Reverb/Black Siren animosity. Make it happen, show!
  17. Yeah, when they had Wally 'lost' in the Speed Force, that kind of killed my theory that they would do that with Barry in the finale. I think there could still be some type of sacrifice, though. Maybe not the same way as shown with Wally.
  18. It is... so far. I expect if the ratings are good enough, they could find a way to do another short season.
  19. Surprisingly, this doesn't mention that he has a degree in English from Princeton: 'How Prison Break Helped Wentworth Miller Break into Screenwriting'
  20. I'm going to need another source before I get excited about Cat.
  21. So, the writing is on the wall for this show, right? If it's (most likely) getting cancelled anyway, why the shell game with the episode order?? Just air the episodes. It's a sitcom, certain episodes are not really going to affect ratings? Anyway, I was somewhat distracted watching this one, Liked the intro of Green Fury! Is she going to be recurring? The plot with Van vs Emily was thin. Not that I'm expecting realism, but even here it seemed a dumb idea to directly compete against her boss. Hee! at robot repellent being a thing in this universe. I think China White was on there, too. I don't know the rest. Was that an actual Green Arrow toy? I feel like that could be a real item.
  22. I agree with you that they could -should- try harder with the plot holes and inaccuracies, especially when the show is set in the 'real world'. On the other hand, the show has always run on what I like to call 'comic book logic'. It's not straight sci-fi, but it regularly goes right to the edge of (and sometimes over) implausibility. I figured it'd be more of the same when I read that some of the same producers were involved. To really reboot the show I think they'd need a new creative team.
