  1. Yeah, I was worried after I read an interview (or article) that said Laurel would be business partners with both Oliver and the Arrow. I got the Arrow part, but couldn't figure out how she'd be business partners with Oliver too. If that's how they're referring to whatever personal relationship they have now, that's weird, but I'll take it. ETA: Although I guess not being business partners in the premiere doesn't rule out any future business partnership, but I'm going to take this one at face value mainly because I'm tired of typing business partners.
  2. I wonder what this means, because the episode synopsis indicated that she took a second job because she was having difficulty making ends meet.
  3. Stephen was on an episode of Aisha Tyler's Girl on Guy that was posted today: http://girlonguy.girlonguy.libsynpro.com/girl-on-guy-153-stephen-amell It's a great interview - he's pretty candid about his beginning in the business (and other stuff, too).
  4. Ah, okay. I hadn't seen that, thanks for linking!
  5. We don't know how many kisses there will be - the more than one kiss theory seems to be based on the belief that Oliver & Felicity's first kiss wouldn't be spoiled in the promos, and the fact that they look like maybe they might've done it before? Not sure if there's more to it than that.
  6. It's gotta have something to do with Sara.
  7. Or he could get some action inside the police station, if you know what I mean.
  8. Also, this debate over who was a part of the team and when is moot IMO. In the first season, Oliver was going after people on his father's list (with the occasional nabbing of non-Undertaking criminals like the Dodger). When Felicity and Diggle went to Lian Yu and brought Oliver back to Starling City, that was the beginning of a new chapter for Arrow - the mission changed, the tactics changed. Arrow and his mission as they currently exist? That did start with the three of them.
  9. IMO? No. Oliver brought Felicity on the team (unknowingly at first) as someone whose specific skill set and capabilities he needed to pursue his particular mission. Lance's actual job is to find criminals and bring them to justice - he'd be doing that with or without Arrow. He and Oliver just occasionally make each others' lives a little easier.
  10. If they're relying on her to get information to help them with their mission? Yeah, it does.
  11. Ah, nothing says "budding romance" like a little bit of pole dancing in the afternoon, am I right?
  12. Plus, with regards to screen time, David Ramsey is (was?) also on Blue Bloods, so I wonder if his shooting schedule for that show affected his availability for Arrow and contributed to some of Diggle's absence last season?
  13. All of this, and I find myself morbidly curious about that whole Oliver and Laurel paragraph. It seems like they're (the producers) admitting it's over between them romantically - is it too much to hope that O/L admit this too? I guess we'll find out in ep 6 (wasn't there a dialogue tease about 'we used to date' or something for that ep?)? I'm also really interested in what they're going to do with Ray (and seriously, what's with the porcupine farts?). Basically, I'm just interested and having difficulty waiting the, oh...40-ish more hours until this damn show premieres!
  14. But none of those people are receiving the level of criticism that Katie is with regards to being physically able to do the job. She's protesting because people are on her ass about pretty much every aspect of Laurel - if she can take some of the heat off of one area, why not? Yeah, she says dumb things in Q&As and she doesn't seem to have much of a handle on who her character is, but she doesn't write the show and I really just think that she wants the job she signed on for. It's not working out, and that must be hard to come to terms with, but she can't seem to win regardless. Maybe, but I think the likelihood of her actually having a physical part this year is pretty high (otherwise, what's Wildcat on for?). While the EPs do seem to have backed off on their original plan for O/L, they don't seem to have backed off on their plan for making Laurel some kind of vigilante, whether or not she's BC.
  15. Well, to be fair, much as she may enjoy exercise for personal reasons, Emily's role as Felicity doesn't require her to be physically fit, and one of the (many) complaints being leveled at KC regarding her possibly becoming BC is that she doesn't have the physique, so I can see why she's putting those pics out there. And, I mean...just reading the signs here, but I don't think KC's working out for the hell of it. She's doing something physical this season, so, again, I can see why she's posting those pics - so she can show that she worked for it.
  16. Rhythmic gymnastics is more artistic - instead of competing ON apparatus (like the balance beam, etc.), they compete WITH apparatus (like ribbon, ball, etc.). They still do the tumbling and stuff, but they stick to floor exercise routines. It's actually really beautiful IMO. That was a cute video though. I'd be interested to see if she can actually do anything on the salmon ladder, considering CL is a gymnast too, and she could only complete two rungs (IIRC).
  17. Well, I think Sara expressed it as an opinion as a way of relaying that to the audience (since it's not obvious via the storytelling, which is obviously a failure). And I do think it's the truth as far as the people writing this show are concerned. They just utterly fail at actually being able to write/show that.
  18. Well, as far as Oliver needing Laurel, that's not even Katie's opinion, it was flat-out written into the show when Sara told Laurel that on the docks. True, it doesn't really make sense based on what we've seen in the show, but that's not on her.
  19. Also, since the Arrow v. Vertigo v. Oliver v. Vertigo fight takes place in a tattoo parlor, I wonder if the drug is being administered through tattoo ink, and that's how that younger guy that we saw in the previews comes into play? If so, he'd probably be the kind of douchebag who would spell your tat wrong or give you a kanji that reads "asshole" when you asked for "warrior" or something. And then to go through that and have to see your biggest fears? Rude! This version of vertigo must be a two-fer and require you to purchase something that stops the hallucinations, since I can't imagine there would be any repeat users after that kind of high (wasn't the last one like that?). If not, Starling City is full of the worst businessmen.
  20. Yeah, apparently he does show up at Buy More (per spoilers released yesterday).
  21. My gut says it happens before things get bad, but since Laurel Brown tweeted that Oliver goes between angsty and happy in this ep, I can see it happening toward the end, right before he breaks things off (assuming, of course, it's him). That sad bastard does love to torture himself, so I can see him kissing her while he has the chance, only to let her go right after.
  22. I think maybe he asks her out before they kiss, because I remember some EP saying during Comic Con that Oliver babbles a bit, and Felicity says something like, "A date, date?" She probably wouldn't be asking that if he'd already kissed her. ;) And that does look like Lance. And I love it when people on this show say "or get put down," haha
