  1. Someone on another site posted that a Canadian promo didn't air with last night's ep. Not sure how accurate that is, since I'm down here in Amurika.
  2. Ugh. No one was saying there was a contradiction, you smug a-hole. She was asking you to explain it to her because she obviously didn't get the information in your super well thought out and amazing narrative!!!
  3. I'm gonna call shenanigans if Quentin's first question after he comes to grips isn't "where is she?" And when he finds out she was buried in her old grave where the grass has already regrown over it, surely he must ask "How fucking long ago did this happen?!" MG said there would be comeuppance from Lance, but I bet it's going to be aimed at Team Arrow as much as if not more than Laurel.
  4. Yeah, I think they might just be on set together - same with her and PB.
  5. Now that Laurel's going to be in the lair and probably in a more prominent role on the show, my greatest wish is that they'd stop doing this with her. I could appreciate Laurel's headstrong nature and maybe root for her on occasion if all the men in her life weren't consistently right to try to stop her from going out and doing something she insists on doing.
  6. Yeah, they're going to be just fine, and they haven't run anyone off (ratings-wise) with the BC storyline, and I think that's probably what they were going for. So yeah, I'm sure they see that as a success. And it kind of is, because as much as I feel blah about this, I'm still tuning in. For now. I'm sure that apart from the people who are super excited for the way things are going, there are a lot of other people like me who feel like they're in the muck but aren't quite ready to ditch the show yet.
  7. I knew the tide would turn on Laurel and that people would be rah-rah about her finally! "kicking ass," so I'm not exactly surprised, but man...that post really gives me the nasties in the pit of my stomach.
  8. Okay, the extended promo for The Return? Excited about it. Although Thea commenting on how there's no more secrets between them? Slap me across the face with it, show.
  9. Wow. So Laurel was talking about his feelings for Felicity AND he posted that Felicity's in love with Oliver. On a roll tonight, I see.
  10. Yeah, he seems to really want to hammer the point of that "light" comment home, haha.
  11. Yeah, my issue isn't Felicity acknowledging that yeah, Sara had done some awful things and Laurel hadn't done anything on par with that. And sure, what drove Sara was a need to do good after doing so many terrible things, and Laurel is being driven by the more "honorable" motivator - a desire to honor her sister and do good (now, I don't believe this, but that's what they're selling, so I'm going with it for the sake of argument). There's a way to give Laurel a motivational speech without slighting Sara, because she was just like Oliver, trying to be a good person after being dealt a shitty hand. She didn't need to mention the light at all, just say "You're doing this for different reasons than Sara did. You should just be yourself, that's good enough," or something along those lines.
  12. Yes. Oliver told Laurel she was an addict, she told him to go to hell. He told her she was chasing an adrenaline high to make her feel better and hiding from the pain, she told him he couldn't judge because if anyone was using a mask to hide from feelings it was him. Which...spot on, Laurel. But still. Always and forever a couple of assholes around each other.
  13. No, he's not dead. Just beaten up. I actually really liked her in this episode, she was delightfully fucked up and evil.
  14. Was I the only one underwhelmed by the Thea reveal? I was much more touched by their conversation in the loft when they were just being themselves than when Thea accepted Oliver as the Arrow. It didn't feel right to me, just...kind of forced, I guess. I'm glad Oliver got to have that moment, but it didn't do anything for me, and that makes me sad, especially because I've been waiting for it for over 2 years. Yes to the O/F fallout. Just snarking, no talking. Ugh. And did I miss the scene where Oliver found out that Laurel was actually dressing up and going out? It seemed like he found out off screen and was already in the know the first time he saw her, but maybe I missed something.
  15. Not to mention, when have Laurel and Oliver ever brought out anything good in each other? They're snarky assholes together, and they continued to be snarky assholes tonight. Felicity can talk about light as much as she wants, but there isn't any in those two when they're in the same vicinity.
  16. Yeah, MG said that. I guess maybe Oliver is training her? Because they said that he wouldn't because training implies a level of acceptance, but he accepted her, so...
  17. Yeah, the light metaphors are passed out like candy, but I really do think this one was to shit on Sara for being the "dark" one and praise Laurel for being the "light" one. No assassin BC for you guys, just a plain old good girl who wants to fight for her city!
  18. I'm kind of wondering now if she was fully aware she did it and she and Malcolm are both playing Oliver with that video. To what endgame, I don't know, but...none of this makes sense to me.
  19. Am I the only one who didn't get the anvil? They're really big on their light metaphors here, but I didn't get this one being Lauriver related at all. It was a batshit crazy comparison to make and a really shitty thing for Felicity to say, but I got that it was more of a way of shitting on Sara than teasing a ship. And this in an episode where Laurel accused Oliver of hiding from his feelings by wearing the hood. Most spot-on observation ever.
  20. Uh, kind of. Fake Sara smiled down upon her from whence she stood after Laurel told Hallucination!Lance and Hallucination!Sara that she wasn't going to try to be Sara or be a liar anymore. At least I think that's what she said, I can't remember.
  21. I don't think it means anything. Sara told Oliver he needed someone who could harness the light in him, not someone who had a light in themselves. There's Felicity, harnessing that light in Laurel. Felicity Smoak: light harnesser
  22. No, she was actually mostly competent.
