  1. If I had to guess, the internet-breaking, smile-making scene with Felicity will be Olicity related - not Felicity calling Laurel Black Canary. Although I can definitely see her being the one to do that.
  2. Same. Stupidly I'm hoping that moment will be about Felicity. LOL @ me. Someone on the team would have to call her Black Canary, or else it would be a HUGE coincidence, since the media was referring to Sara's Canary as "the woman in black," so no one even knew she had a name. If it is someone on the team, I hope it's a tongue-in-cheek mention that eventually sticks or something.
  3. This ep didn't set up Lauriver 2.0 at all. If anything it put forth yet another obstacle for it-any basis for connection is gonna be gone once Laurel finds out that Malcolm is responsible for Sara's death, that Oliver knew that, and still teamed up with him.
  4. I don't think Oliver or Laurel are joining the League. I think Ra's is going to make an offer of tutelage or whatever to Oliver, appealing to him for some kind of reason, maybe to do with Thea. Maybe he hopes that he'll be able to compel Oliver to join or to get Oliver to do something for him. Since MG spoiled that Ra's is going to make Oliver long for the halcyon days of Slade Wilson terrorizing him, I'm guessing Oliver declines? As for Nyssa training Laurel, it's probably some kind of non-League-sanctioned pet project she embarks on, or maybe she has a falling out with her father and walks away for a bit (he'd never kill Nyssa for leaving), and she trains her then. Assuming Nyssa does become her trainer and not Oliver. The only reason I don't think it'd be Oliver at this point is because he must have bigger fish to fry. I think he's going to focus on defeating Ra's and let everyone else take care of the city for the most part.
  5. It's that hyperbole MG has admitted to being prone to, slapping us all in the face like a fish on a pier.
  6. Yeah, I have three Tumblrs (don't ask), and each time he did a Q&A without addressing it, I resent the guess. Could be that he didn't read any of them, but I can't be the only one who's sent it, so I think that's what it is too.
  7. Haha. I mean, I'm sure he meant "laying the groundwork" or something, but still.
  8. I just realized that MG used the words "laying the pipe" when referring to the comics that led to Olicity's first date. I wonder if he knows what that means?
  9. MG posted on Tumblr that they have a Huntress story planned for the 4th season.
  10. WHY???? Gotta do a BoP ep again with the real Black Canary!
  11. Not necessarily - he did say "that business with Slade," which could mean since Slade burst on the scene and Felicity gave him pep talk after pep talk and inspired him to keep fighting. He didn't fix it to a particular moment, so technically the moment in the mansion could've absolutely been true.
  12. I disagree. If they had this batshit story with Malcolm planned from last season, they needed to kill Moira. No way would things have gotten this far with him if she'd been alive, estranged from Thea or not. She'd have had him killed by now.
  13. I wonder if the head-to-neck black plus the mask with eyeblack was just way too much black?
  14. Yeah, Caity's has interesting angles, but IMO the differences wouldn't be so stark if Katie had some greasepaint on.
  15. IIRC it's because she wanted to be different and look "softer." Or something.
  16. Well, Someone asked MG on Tumblr when Oliver realized he loved Felicity or something like that and he said he'd be interested in what Olicity fans would think of 3x14 (or something along those lines), so I assume some feelings will be talked about in the ep.
  17. Maybe to keep their options open in case they changed their mind? Or maybe they did tell her and she was impatient about having to wait. Or worried because people seemed to really like Sara. We'll never know how it came about.
  18. But if they'd made Sara unlikable, then a) Laurel would have no reason to want to avenge her death and b) no motivation to "become" Sara. Of course there are ways around this (ways that would've made a better story and a better rise to being a "hero" for Laurel), but they've always been lazy when it came to Laurel, so. Since death seems to be the only motivator on this show, it makes sense that they made Sara sympathetic before they killed her off to further Laurel's story.
  19. I don't know - if what he says is true, then they've always planned on Laurel being the Black Canary and never considered deviating from that plan. They have most definitely deviated from Laurel being Oliver's big one true love. Whether or not they can go back to that, I don't know. Maybe they'll try again at some point over the course of the series, but at this point I'm not worried about it.
  20. Yeah, I don't recall Felicity saying anything about cell reception at all. Oliver did - he said he was in a place that didn't have any.
  21. He didn't say that they flipped their plan - he's saying they stuck to it. Which I totally believe, BTW.
  22. Yeah, I'm guessing they'll be back from the island a bit before the end of the episode. Definitely in time for Oliver to do something dumb again!
  23. I wonder why it's underwhelming? Because Malcolm let him out, I guess? And what's the point of sending them to the island to hone their killer instinct if they don't actually kill him? Or do they, and everything Oliver did last year is just completely null and void? Ugh.
