It was an asshole move to be sure - I'm team Emily on this one, but if she was truly that uncomfortable, she had the option of getting up and leaving. KC put her in a tough spot, but she had a way out.

I think it probably will, since they're enticing us into watching the new show. So, they'll use Flash/Arrow characters to give us a reason to be invested in watching these people that we don't really know/care about yet. I'm not sure how it'll work though - are they going to get the full team together on a crossover, or save that for the LoT premiere? I guess maybe they'll show some clashes during the crossover and they'll be forced into working together as a team for their first mission? Since KC said at Comic Con that Laurel has a big hand in getting the team together, I wonder if the crossover ep is going to have her getting kidnapped and sucked into some kind of time warp?

Yeah, it's a different animal this year. I suspect that since The Flash and Arrow are both going to be launching the spin-off, the LoT characters on The Flash will interact with Arrow faves, and the LoT characters on Arrow will interact with The Flash faves. Or something along those lines. I don't think the faves will necessarily be a big part of the story if the goal is to get LoT off the ground.

I mean, the crossover isn't meant to be an equal showcase for everyone on each show. It's to entice people who watch one to watch the other, so they'll use the characters they know people love on Arrow over on The Flash, and vice versa. Especially if they're using this crossover event as a backdoor pilot for LoT. So, someone's going to get "shortchanged," and it's going to be the character(s) TPTB don't feel pull in enough viewer interest.

The characters who were sidelined in the first crossover have more reason to be included now, so maybe we'll see more of them. During the 1st crossover, Laurel hadn't buckled up yet (and she was pretty angry at Oliver for getting involved in her training), and Thea and Quentin weren't aware that Oliver was the Arrow yet, so there wasn't really any way to include them more than they already were. Plus, no offense to people I know feel otherwise, but I doubt TPTB considered those two enough of a draw to try to work into the plot during a crossover.

The point of last year's crossover was to get viewers of The Flash introduced to Arrow, and viewers of Arrow introduced to The Flash, so the main "teams" were highlighted during those crossovers. Seems the point of the S4 crossover will be to get viewers of both shows to watch LoT, so I suspect characters from the spinoff will feature heavily, with the main characters from both shows (apart from maybe Oliver and Barry) being sidelined to make room for the LoT people.

There was a brief, shining moment during the FBs in S2, when it was a good length and was also wet/dirty most of the time and it looked good sometimes. I miss those days. Now he looks like he got in a fight with a Flowbee and lost. And like he really needs to lay off the root lifter.

I mean, he/she could be older, but only if the woman they're trying to sell as the kid's mother actually had a miscarriage and the kid's mother was actually someone else. But even then a realistic age would only be 13 or 14, since it doesn't seem like good idea to have Oliver knock someone up at 14 or 15. So, probably fan casting. Hopefully fan casting.

Because apart from the tweet from the guy who is playing Hal Jordan (per IMDB, which could be wrong), there's a rumored Carol Ferris, and someone listed as Oliver's son - and that kid is 17 years old. This only gets me vaguely excited for my preferred method of introducing the kid, which is that the unnamed woman who Oliver got pregnant actually did miscarry Oliver's child, and the mother is someone else, and that the kid is older. But then, an older kid means he could be around a lot more. Bleh. Here's hoping someone on IMDB pro just went in and did some fan casting. Probably likely since the son is listed under 3 different names?
