  1. And then he lets slip about Thea and the LP, and a terrible idea is born!
  2. I didn't read the article, and no one here wrote it, so I suppose that's an issue you should take up with the author.
  3. I'll wait to judge until I see the circumstances of this conversation. Hopefully Felicity's not deemed untrustworthy in Diggle's eyes because she left with Oliver or is dating him and he's worried she'll tell or something juvenile like that.
  4. She looked super interested though, I'm sure she'll help him get to the bottom of it!
  5. Felicity is basically an original character with a canon name.
  6. And this episode showed none of that? It showed Thea and Laurel going behind Diggle's back when they didn't agree with him-instead of hashing it out- which does not a good/successful team make. Which was the point of my comment-I hope they work on that as the season goes on.
  7. I love Oliver's face when she drops the mayor bomb, haha. And superficial, but Thea's hair is so cute.
  8. And then Thea/Laurel went behind Digg's back to get Oliver's help, since they disagreed about them being able to handle things themselves. Seems like a mess to me-hopefully they tighten that up throughout the season.
  9. They asked for his help, period, because they couldn't get the job done on their own. There weren't any conditions on it. I think it's a stupid response on Laurel and Thea's part, but my initial complaint about it was that it was allegedly set up to show that the "team" is a democracy now, but then had Laurel look to Digg for approval (which he gave her). So it didn't seem like a democracy so much as a transfer of power. There were better ways to show that they don't need or want a leader anymore.
  10. Non-snarky question, because I honestly don't remember: did she ever talk about that? The last stated reason I recall was because it made her feel better.
  11. I think the show's quality, at least as far as writing goes, has been suffering for a while. I mean, as much as a dumbass as Oliver is, Barry is just as much of one (although with lower personal stakes, it seems). But there are a lot of cool VotW and nods to comic canon, and there's a ton of weird science going on, so people seem to overlook all of that.
  12. Laurel also did what Oliver told her to after Diggle gave her the go ahead, but if it makes you feel better to write it off, then by all means.
  13. What frustrations could they have with him since he's been away? He hasn't been around to frustrate them, and anyone who had anyone to say to him did that before he left.
  14. I think the premiere proved that the show doesn't need AK so much as that MG needs an active collaborator. Hopefully with WM in the picture the quality is better/more consistent.
  15. But they didn't figure those things out for themselves. Hence the asking him for help?
  16. It's not this comment in particular, just constant jabs at Oliver while Barry remains the greatest (despite not being so great himself).
  17. I don't think he'd be dying to give Laurel a storyline. It seems like they've run out of storyline for him since he keeps going back and forth on vigilante justice. I wouldn't mind him being offed at this point. His whole spiel is tired.
  18. I don't think she's working toward redemption for lying about Sara. Maybe things will change this ep, but she and Quentin seemed to be past it last week. I really hope wanting to bring Sara back isn't part of some dumbass plan to make amends with Quentin, although I can't think of any good reason for that, so.
  19. I wouldn't hate him saving his daughter, but I would hate the Laurel angst that would follow (not that she shouldn't be angsty/angry, that's just my least favorite Laurel).
  20. Just to tie into Oliver's story, I'm guessing we're in for a Ra's redux: there is going to be a wife and/or a kid as part of that humanity. And that kid better not be Felicity, bleh.
  21. This seems like whatever happened to humanize him happened 122 years ago, meaning he couldn't be Felicity's dad. I'm just going to keep hoping that's what it is because, no. Do not want.
  22. She quit ARGUS because of Waller making her do some questionable stuff IIRC, and she wanted to do something that would make Sara proud. Although she still somehow had access to ARGUS assets (like planes, for Barry to use in The Flash). How, I don't know.
