I could understand companies coming in after the indiegogo ended and offering to cover any additional costs - wanting to get in on some profit since there's some interest in the film - but...with the initial campaign AND additional traditional financing, I don't really understand why they reopened the campaign.

I don't find it hideous or anything, I just think it's way, way too much for everyday wear.

I wonder if his "risk to the team" comment was about the Helix stuff this season? I thought it had picked up a foreign distributor, but I'm not 100% sure. And yes - they opened the campaign up again with more perks (a $60 hoodie and $20 socks + some more stuff) - I think it's open for the duration of filming.

I didn't mind Sara or the lunge only because at that point I still thought Oliver/Felicity was a pipe dream and was desperate for anything that wasn't the black hole of Oliver/Laurel. So I was like...."Okay, I'll take it!" And by then I'd read up on comic canon and thought maybe they were going to go with BC Sara instead of BC Laurel. LOL @ me.

Yeah, that dinner was the worst. The Lances are all pretty great at being awful to each other.

And they didn't even do the wishful thinking right since Oliver treated Laurel like garbage there too - from not answering her phone calls the night before their wedding to leaving the alien-manipulated dream world without saying goodbye to her until she chased him down. Pathetic in every scenario.

Yeah, they did seem to bond over Laurel hiding Sara's death.

Being an adult child of divorce is unfortunate and sad, but not traumatic IMO. Especially since - unless I'm remembering wrong - I don't recall there being anything indicating that Dinah didn't want to have anything to do with Laurel or wasn't available to talk to, she just moved to another city?

I've used public transit in Toronto - I think it's super easy and I always felt safe whenever I was alone. I have not used public transit in Montreal, but I have driven there and I would advise against it if you can possibly help it. The traffic was awful pretty much all the time.

I see people throwing around the toxic relationship and ~emotionally abusive claims a lot over on reddit, and they seem to think this because Felicity walked out on Oliver right after she saw Oliver filming a goodbye video to Myson, and also because she was angry that he lied to her about him when it was "none of her business."

Congrats to her! But yikes...that ring is obnoxious. I love that People's write-up is just a synopsis of her social media posts, haha.

Every time I think about Carl Weathers, I think about this:

If they were still watching and complaining after Bella had been with Biology Student for over half the show's run, I'd want them to shut up about it too.

I think that it's perfectly fine for fans of the source material to be upset that they aren't getting some of the same relationships that they came to love in the comics. I've been upset at way smaller changes that were made to movies made from books that I love! But we're three + years into a change in the main pairing and the show hasn't shown a single sign of going back to comic canon. So...I think it's past time for anyone still hanging on to that bitterness to put it in a bubble and blow it away. It ain't happening. Either accept that it isn't, or maybe stop watching for your own sanity instead of endlessly complaining about it.

Does Arrow even need much VFX? Apart from last season with that idiotic magic stuff, they just need the arrows, and the canary cry, I guess. Some explosions here and there. No one flies or has the runs like Barry. Not to mention all the meta opponents on The Flash (and I'm assuming there are some super-powered villains on Supergirl - IDK, I don't watch it). This doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me.

No, but I don't think it was a question of needing to gain Oliver's trust, just that he wanted to build a solid working relationship with him so it would sting more when Oliver found out that Adrian had been working against him the whole time.

Yes, definitely. The comics crowd from what I've seen generally seems to HATE OTA (and think OTA was either Oliver and Laurel or Oliver, Shado and Slade - even though he didn't become the Arrow until...never mind).

Or Robert Queen Arrow on E2 and Dinah hookup. If she's the Black Canary over there. IDK there are too many I can't keep track.
