It's either the end of Season 1 or the beginning of Season 2, there is quite a long scene of Meri, Janelle & Christine sitting around on a picnic with the kids (while Robyn & Kody were on their ELEVEN day honeymoon, of which the length irritated the heck out of the moms and they weren't shy about saying it) talking. All three - especially Meri - were quite communicative and open about their lives and feelings. It is a shocking contrast to the more current seasons where Meri doesn't feel safe (insert eye roll) talking. Kody is a dolt but it's obvious that TLC and the very minor fame that came with it, destroyed the Browns. That's not to say that I think they were over the moon thrilled with sharing their moronic husband, but it seems that there were genuine warm feelings between all of them.

I get you. I won't pay the bastards to watch their streaming options either - and Real World Homecoming New York only being streaming has pissed me off to no end. That ain't right. At least HBO was like, "You subscribe? You get HBO Max for free!" lmao. I have lots of issues.

Comcast/Xfinity. I just can't quit cable. Sigh.

Quoting myself because I feel like I'm taking one for the team by watching the old episodes. Re: Housegate In Season 1, Episode 4 (Robyn's wedding - Robyn also lives in a single family home near the Brown's home and the origin of "Basement Wife") .... Christine says she can't wait for the day they're all in one big house living altogether. Also, Kody asked the OB/GYN how much in vitro was (alluding to Meri) while standing right next to Christine has she was in active labor in the hospital with Truely. Talk about not reading the room. After watching several of the first episodes I really believe that Meri brought up marrying Robyn hoping that Kody would say no. She threw that out there not realizing that Kody would take the bait - or hoping he wouldn't. And finally, while on the interview couch Christine brought up that she felt it was entirely unfair that Robyn had been put into rotation and had equal wife rights without being a wife. Meri & Janelle actually agreed. Robyn said they didn't realize how hard it was to be building a relationship from scratch. On a positive note, Robyn was actually thin and pretty before she started turning into HR Pufnstuf's Witchy Poo.

RE: Showergate I went back last night and watched the first couple of shows from Season 1. Kody and Christine stand in her unit and Kody talks about how sometimes he showers at Christine's and gets dressed at Meri's while Christine nods approvingly. Or showers at Meri's and gets dressed at Christine's. (Because he has clothes in all 3 units.) So there's that. Also, Kody calls Meri a "blessing", the very first time Sobyn sits on the interview couch she dry cries and Janelle is gone working from 615am to 7pm and has Logan and Christine basically raise her children. If you have the opportunity and a strong stomach, going back to watch the first season is a treat.

I really don't care to sit through an entire Covid 19 episode of crap that happened a year ago. I may be out for good.

If "culture" was the secret drinking word, I'd be having my stomach pumped in the local ER by now.

She was at Loyola. No way in hell would she have been accepted to U of C.

Why in the hell are those nitwits giving Nova a choice on chores? Some chores are your JOB for being a part of the household - like picking up your own damn toys. Over and beyond can be used for allowance/incentive money.

Is no one mentioning the elephant in the room? And by elephant I mean Lisa's rusty brown palms from her bronzer/self tanner? -

As a long time viewer of the entire Real Housewives franchise, I feel very qualified to diagnose the very specific personality disorder that Braunwyn has: Asshole. Braunwyn is an asshole. -
Did these morons fall into a vat of Maybelline before they got on camera? Makeup brush set to Tammy Fay Bakker, Circa 1987 mode? What in the holy hell were they thinking when they looked in the mirror?

The more I see of Gina, the more I like her. The more I see of Elizabeth, the more I hate her. -
God, I just wish these episodes were longer. I think there is so much deeper these interactions can go.

I had such high hopes for this series .... but as each episode airs, I have more dislikes than likes. I'll finish it ... but I feel like it's petering out.

To show she wasn't hiding urine to subvert the drug test.

As someone who buys Scott's because we have a septic system (like 1/4 of the country) there are two kinds of Scotts. One for RVs and the like that is rapid dissolving, and the other that is simple septic safe. Rick bought the septic safe version. Like me. Because I don't want to spend $30,000 on another septic system. -

I just realized that when Brownlsjfsdih said, "I haven't hit my husband since Aspen ..." my immediate reaction was that Aspen must have been YEARS ago. Cue the Bravo's editing elves with a flashback to Aspen and a caption "3 months ago". They hate her too. -

God damn is Brownwhatever an insufferable twat. -
I feel like there should have been Episode 6 1/2. I honestly thought I must have skipped an episode somewhere.

Nailed it. My take on Dr Deb: Deb was a stunningly beautiful woman. As soon as she got older and her looks started to fade, she needed to do something else to be center of attention since her beauty wasn't doing it anymore. And voila! She's a clown! What I find super interesting though, is she convinced her younger and still pretty attractive husband to also dress like a tie dye tub threw up on him. -

Full disclosure: I watched Salt Lake before I watched this week's OC. Salt Lake was a dumpster fire. But it was such a deliciously gaudy dumpster fire that felt fresh. The OC just seems tired and sad like Emily's condo in comparison. -

Well. Since vow renewals are the kiss of death on the Housewives shows .... I would say Whitney. -
It's a townhouse.

I hate the chunky eyeglasses Jade and Bri wear. I hate the talon nails on all of these nitwits. I love Issac. That's all I got.
