  1. It has only been a year since since Randall confronted William and brought him home. During that time he not only got to know his biological father, he took care of William as he was dying. He also learned of Rebecca's secret. She knew William and had lied to him his entire life. Randall had a minor emotional breakdown and he quit his job after William's memorial (not that leaving that soul sucking job was a bad thing). Randall needs to take some time to process all of this. I am surprised Beth agreed to go along with this at this point of their lives. Not only is Randall dealing with such stress but the girls are as well. They got to know their grandfather, watched his illness progress and lost him in a period of a few months. I think Randall and Beth are going to be great adoptive parents down the road. They just need to take a least a year so they can regroup. This way they will have the emotional reserves they will need to be foster parents. Doing it here and now is not fair to Randall, Beth, their girls and their future foster child.
  2. I got the feeling that he may have done his own hair, thus the excessive use of gel and mousse. When my nephew was that age he came down stairs to show us how he used "gel" in his hair to get it to stick up straight. It turned out he used hand lotion instead of gel. :) He had used about a 1/4th of a bottle. We washed his hair 5 times before it was degreased. Lydia's son had the same look of pride that my nephew had.
  3. I think they can explain away the apparent age difference by saying Billy Miller's Jason looks younger because of all the plastic surgery he had after Ava hit him with her car. His face is brand new. :)
  4. I did my first communion when I was seven, however, I never made it to first confession or confirmation. When the priest came into our religion class to teach us about confession he told us that we needed to confess our sins to a priest so he could tell god. I could not understand why I needed a priest to act as a "middle man" between me and god. If god knows EVERYTHING he would already know what I did and if I was really sorry, therefore, I did not need to tell a priest .... anything. Besides god would know if I was lying and I could tell a priest anything I wanted and they would not know the difference. I really dug in my heels on the issue and I started the other kids to question this practice. My mother was furious with me, because I was not asked back to class. :)
  5. Georgie was a legacy character that had so much potential and killing her off was a disgrace. Georgie, Robin and Maxie has such great "sister chemistry", not to mention the father/daughter chemistry Mac (the bestest dad EVER) has with his girls. Imagine if Georgie became a research scientist at GH but was secretly a WSB agent. This would have brought a lot of non-mob related intrigue to the show. Mac, Maxie and Robin could each figure out that Georgie is more than a mild mannered researcher and assist her with her assignments. Mac's girls all have parents who are international spies and Mac has always assisted Robert and Anna's in their assignments. That and the everyday domestic drama of Mac and his girls would provide endless storyline possibilities. What a waste.
  6. One person's slutty is another person's normal underwear. I'm just saying....... And God help you if you are commando. :) According to my mother, the family shame would be so great, we would all have to join the witness protection program. Growing up Catholic in a small town had convinced her that HIPPA or not, EVERYONE would find out.
  7. Thanks HunterHunted, I should know this stuff because I grew up next to a lobster fisherman's community on the coast of Maine. Most of my friends fathers were lobstermen. In my defense my friends and I were not allowed anywhere near the boats because it was so dangerous.
  8. Another stupid question. Is there an actual spring component to the line or is it just a big rope? I am so embarrassed.
  9. Excuse me, but what exactly is a spring line and what does it do?
  10. I was engaged when I was a senior in high school. The day I was accepted into college he dumped me because he felt I was too smart for him. I was way too smart for him but my 17 year old heart was broken. I always wondered what ever happened to him and how my life would have been different if I had married him. Thanks to facebook, I secretly tracked him down and found out he had not changed much over the years. He is still a big old stoner who went to his daughter's high school graduation wearing dirty jeans, a pink floyd t-shirt and MAGA baseball cap. I so dodged a bullet. Three cheers for young woman getting a great education. :)
  11. Thanks Anna Yolei. I was watching during this period but I could not remember the dirty details.
  12. Question. Did Bill and Steffy ever do the deed? or did they just sniff around each other until Katie induced a heart attack?
  13. I used to think the "mom programming" about wearing clean underwear was ridiculous...until the day I was in a car accident. As I waited for EMS in my car that had been moved over 3 lanes of traffic, up over a snowbank, and was resting on it's side on the sidewalk, I was thanking the heavens that I had done laundry the night before and had my brand new underwear on instead of an "older" pair that I would have put on that morning. I was relieved that my family and I would not be embarrassed by my old underwear. In fact the undies I was wearing that day were a Christmas present from mom. She bought my sister and me new underwear every Christmas, birthday and random holiday. :) Mom Programing is a powerful force.
  14. Kirsten had lost a great deal of weight and looked anorexic before she took time off. Now that she been in treatment she is at a healthy weight and looks fantastic. I think that is the change we are seeing in her.
  15. I am hoping that the reason Bell recast Thorne with IR is because he is rebooting the character. I can't see IR playing Thorne as the passive kid brother. I am not blaming WH, Thorne has been written that way since the beginning of the show. I would like to see IR's Thorne come back, kick Ridge and the Taytots asses and take his rightful place in the family and at Forrester. It would be icing on the cake if they could figure out a way to bring back a stronger and empowered Aly.
  16. I just logged on to suggest that they bring back Dave! It would be a great storyline to have Brooke revisit her life before she met the Forresters. We all look back on past relationships and wonder, "what if I had stayed with him/her?". It would be so much better than Brooke bouncing back and forth between Ridge and Bill. SIMPLEPLEASURES, I agree, you should be writing for this show. :)
  17. Having Jimmy Lee Holt back on the canvas could be fun. I guess WH could work if Steve Bond is not available. I have been a fan of Steve Bond ever since he bared all in Playgirl magazine. :) I think I would get in trouble for posting a link to the photos but you can google "steve bond playgirl" and you will be able to find them.
  18. Really. Kinda creepy seeing Michael fondle them. Mr.Moving came into the room while I was watching this scene and he thought I was watching porn. I started laughing and said "It's even worse, it's Real Housewives."
  19. All I think of here is, "How can I write for someone who DOESN'T HAVE A HEAD?!" WENDYCR72, That "Soapdish" line is my favorite movie quote ever!
  20. It was fine to have the business office in Jeff's house before the baby was born. Now that the baby is here he really needs to move the business office into a separate space. Having all that chaos around a newborn's home is not good for the baby, especially if the baby is having health issues. I can't imagine allowing so many relative strangers in my baby's home on a daily basis. Baby's need a calm, safe and peaceful home because they do pick up on the stressors in the home. Don't get me started on the fact that Jeff HAD to do a complete renovation of the house just before the baby was born. I can't blame Gage for being distracted by the baby's cries while he is trying to work. He is beyond exhausted because the baby is sick and in pain. If my child cried the way she does, I would stop working and try to comfort her myself. I could not tune it out and say "Oh well, that's what the nanny is for." Jeff expects the baby to adapt to HIS life and business. He needs to get a clue to the fact that he needs to change his lifestyle and business practices so HE can adapt to having a baby.
  21. For fuck's sake indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe they had Monica apologizing to the man who killed her son in cold blood. That is total bull shit. Monica and Scott should be meeting to plot the final downfall of the mobster that abused, molested, manipulated and murdered their children.
  22. I would prefer that Emily, AJ, Georgie and Nick were stashed at the evildoer's clinic.
  23. In this way, Lulu has not matured since she was a teenager. She has learned nothing from her past mistakes. That is fine if you are a young single woman without children because she would be dealing with the consequences on her own. However, Lulu is a wife and mother, what she does effects her family. It is not all about her. Lulu needs to take a few seats and grow the hell up.
  24. I think Lulu has been super tolerant of Valentin under the circumstances..... 1-he held her, her husband, her mother and brother hostage on Cassadine Island 2-he shot Kevin point blank in the chest, while AIMING FOR HER MOTHER (still not sure why he didn't pay for that crime) 3- he forced, at gunpoint, NIk to sign over his and Spencer' birthrite 4-he shot Nik and left him to die/drown in the ocean 5-he kept Lulu from her daughter for the first 6 (9?) years of her life If this were real GH instead of pod GH writen by incompetent writers, LUlu would have channeled her inner Spencer and gotten rid of Valentin's sorry ass by now. I mean, I can picture JMB's Lulu getting in touch with Luke and Ethan and suddenly Valentin goes bye bye. Instead Emme's Lulu's constantly a victim and apparently the bad guy because heaven forbid she should want her daughter and the criminal gone. I agree with all of this. My issue with Lulu is that she is not very smart in how she deals with Valentin. Behaving like a hysterical harpy every time she sees Valentin is not going to help her get custody of Charlotte. This behavior plays right into his hands. Lulu needs to grit her teeth and play nice while she, her mother, Dante, Luke, Anna, Ethan and Lucky plot to take him down once and for all. This would be a great umbrella story that could also involve Ava, Jason, Sam, Alexis and Elizabeth. Almost every character on the canvas have been victims of the evil Cassidines. There is nearly 40 years of the evil Cassidines vs the good people of Port Charles history. Why not use that history rather than set up another series of mob wars "that will change Port Charles forever"?
  25. Michael is always trying to fix both his family and Sonny's "family". He does not want to join the mob, but he dreams of taking over to make it a non violent and safe for his family and for Port Charles. He knows it will never happen but he can't help himself from wondering "what if". Michael is a rescuer/caretaker of his family. (Look at the relationships he has been in, Abby, Sabrina and Nelle, all woman for whom he played the white knight.) It's as if he were the lone sane sober member of a family that consists of violent drug addicts and alcoholics. He keeps running around putting out fires in a futile attempt to make everything and everyone in his family safe, sober and sane.
