Several years ago I worked in a residential facility for teen girls and with adult female inmates in the state prison. When I watch some of these housewives reunions, I get some serious flashbacks. The girls/women like Leanne are generally all talk no action. They tend to lash out verbally because they are deeply insecure and afraid of the other girls/women. Yes, Leanne is impulsive and needs to get a handle on herself but she is genuinely working on it. She is very vulnerable and not a mean person by nature. Cary and Stephanie remind me of the girls/women who were much more dangerous and vicious. They are the type of people who put thought and planning into getting back at and maintaining control over others. On the surface they are "nice and socially appropriate" however, just under surface they are manipulative mean-assed bitches that you NEVER turn your back on. These are the kind of girls/women who would create a riot by manipulating others but be so stealth about it that they avoid any official blame or consequences. They just sit back and enjoy the chaos they have created. Cary and Stephanie are mean girls who enjoy making others feel bad about themselves. They are emotionally violent women. I would much rather spend time with Leanne than Cary and Stephanie. Leanne may make an empty threat to cut a bitch but Caryl and Stephanie take pleasure in planning and actually doing it.

JP is very tiny and was pregnant with twins, so I will give TPTB a pass for using a fat suit. My niece is just under 5 feet and just delivered her third child last week. Because she is so petite, there was not a lot of room for the baby so she grew "out" and got to be beyond HUGE. She could not fit behind the wheel of her small SUV. I was amazed that the baby was only 6lbs and 17" long. JP being pregnant with twins made it so they did not need to have a real fat suit, they just needed prosthetics to make her face look fuller.

I tend to give these "therapeutic ranches" the side eye because many of them are more about free forced labor than treatment for teenagers. My niece was sent to one of these ranches in Wyoming and came back in terrible emotional shape. There was behavior management but no counseling. The girls worked from sun up to sundown as free labor making capital improvements to the owner's ranch. They raised the animals, built buildings, built additions to the owner's house and dug ditches/laid pipes for a water source in the fields. When she arrived at the ranch she was not allowed a bed, pillow or blanket. The girls lived in tent in the middle of winter. She was not allowed the use of the bathroom and was made to use a bucket in front of the other girls and staff. Food and water were withheld as punishment. Her educational needs were totally neglected. She walked away from this place with PTSD because of the abuses she experienced. Her parents are good people who were desperate to help their daughter and went into debt to help save her. The owners of the ranch isolated my niece and scared the hell out of her parents. She left the ranch with no education, no self esteem and no life skills outside of being isolated from the work and listening to orders. It took a week for that poor kid to get up and go to the bathroom without asking for permission. The only thing she learned at the ranch was to be a good ranch hand which is not exactly a marketable life skill when you don't have any other education.

The fake Duke was actually Faison in a latex mask. Fake Duke and Anna went to the Swiss Alps for a romantic getaway. Robert figured out that something was not right with "Duke" and followed them. He exposed FakeDuke by throwing a pot of oil/cheese fondue in his face which melted the mask. Those masks were pretty popular at the time. Dr. Obrecht wore an Anna mask during a prison visit Faison so she could test his loyalty to her. After she helped him escape, he kept trying to get her to wear the Anna mask so he could have sex with her.

I really hated the way Sonny had his hands all over Ava while he was questioning her about Jason6. He was touching her in a "gentle" but menacing manner that creeped me out. It was a bad acting choice on MB's part.

The only problem with moving Mom to Monday nights is that all the other Monday "comedies" suck and will take it down just like it helped take Me Myself and I down. Mom is one of my favorite shows so I don't want that to happen.

I would have more respect for MM if she called the Trump base out for taking the red meat bait and allowing themselves to conned by it. I would like it if she questioned why Trump supporters are willing to ignore the fact they are being conned all because of "party unity". MM's father and several other Republicans have called out 45 on his "red meat" game. MM could still be a conservative voice without defending the Trumpster talking points. I think she would be more successful and earn respect if she did.

Well this sucks. I loved this show. The networks don't seem to give these shows a chance. Both M*A*S*H and Cheers were low rated shows that took time to find an audience. They should have paired this show with Young Sheldon rather than those 3 awful shows. Kevin Can Wait and 9JKL are unwatchable yet they are still on the schedule??? Me Myself and I is a quality program and should have been given a chance.

There is nothing "wrong" with Smarties it is just that Snickers and other chocolate bars are so much better. I have never once craved Smarties but Snickers...well that is a whole new ballgame. My mother always gave out Smarties because she knew that she and my dad would not eat them before Halloween. (That is why I always buy them to give out.) Smarties were our every day candy. When we played hospital, we used Smarties as "pills". To sum it up Smarties are a great every day candy but Snickers and other chocolate were real TREATS.

This episode had me in tears because my niece is in the hospital about to deliver her little girl. I can't wait to meet her and and introduce myself as the auntie who will always love her, keep her safe and of course, spoil her rotten.

Yes!!! She was Megsplaning to us non politically connected, financially disadvantaged and uneducated working class folk. She talked as if we should be grateful to her for taking the time to educate us poor folk.

I would get one of Whoopi's sweaters if they did not have those stupid designs on the front. I am a very tall girl and I like that they are very long. The length of women's tops these days are so short that they look like crap on me. Unfortunately, when I do find top that are long enough they have some tacky designs all over the front. I loved Sunny's take down of MM bullshit talking points.

I hope next season's storyline includes Kelly helping Shannon get her groove back. I think the two of them could be a riot. Just imagine Kelly playing the role of wingman for Shannon while they cruise the OC dating scene.

This was Kate's goal when she first became a Stew. She was hoping to bag some older rich guy but it did not work out for her. Now she is well into her thirties and the bloom is off that rose. Kate has become a mean bitter shrew. She is so jealous of these young girls who HAVE bagged their old rich guys that she can't see straight.

I think that Drew grew up in the Quartermain home as Jason Quartermaine. When AJ and Jason/Drew crashed into that tree Helena or some other "evil" switched the twins while Jason?Drew was in a come. (For Reasons...) The person who woke up in that hospital bed was really Jason Morgan. Jason Morgan had no memory of his family and had been programed by Helena or "the evil" so he was hostile to the Quartermaines and left them to join Sonny's mob. The Jason that showed up 3 years ago was Jason/Drew and has been implanted with Jason Morgan's memories. I don't know why Helena and the evildoers did all of this. Maybe they needed to do a twin study to create Helena's army of programmed super soldiers? Helena and the Evildoers (great name for a rock band :)) had really important "Reasons" for doing all of this. I also think that Helena and company programed Franco into becoming a murderer or made him think he was a murderer by implanted false memories of "his crimes". Maybe the tumor that was removed was a side effect of some sort of programming device. This way Franco can be redeemed.

Yes the brothers are mentally broken, I agree on that. However, they are still responsible for their actions. Sociopaths are disturbed individuals but that does not mean they are not responsible for their criminal behavior. Unfortunately the brothers are not unique. There are millions of children and adult survivors of sexual abuse and it is a sickening fact. What sets the brothers apart from most victims is that they used their abuse as an excuse to murder their parents .... for profit. They knew right from wrong. These two men could have walked away. Many survivors of sexual and/or domestic violence walk away everyday and with far fewer resources and financial support than these grown men. The brothers would not be penniless and living on the streets or in shelters. Their reasons for killing their parents was more about Jose changing his will that it was about abuse. There are some people who are sexually abused as children who grow up and become abusers themselves. They are mentally broken but that does not mean that their crimes against others are excused. When caught they (hopefully) go to prison. People make choices in their lives. Some survivors of abuse become criminals and use their "victimhood" as an excuse for their crimes. The brothers are right where they belong.

The fact that they planned to commit the murders when Kitty was with Jose tells me that their main motive for the murders was for money. They could have killed Jose when Kitty was not at home, but then SHE would have inherited all the money. Kitty should have done something to help her sons there are no excuses for that. However, Jose was extremely controlling and had mentally and physically beaten her down over the years and most likely felt she was powerless to help herself or the boys. Both she and her sons were completely dominated by Jose. I am not making excuses I am just acknowledging the family dynamics. I am a child abuse survivor and I empathize with other victims of childhood abuse. The brothers did not kill their parents in self-defense. they were adults and were free to walk away from their abusers. They killed their parents for money and used an abuse excuse to try to get away with it. The brothers using their victimhood to justify murder for profit is an insult to every survivor of child abuse.

Agreed. Michael is a rescuer/caretaker and it would have been so easy for him to "step up" to take care of family business during a crisis only to find that he can not get himself out. The mob is not something one can really just dabble in and walk away from. Michael's downfall would not come from his desire to join the mob but from his need to protect his family. The last time Sonny was shot Michael talked about leading Sonny's business to help him become legitimate. That plan would fail and Michael knows but he really wants to save the family from Sonny's world.

I agree with this. I guess what I was thinking about was post-coma Michael was a stupid spoiled brat and there was a scene where Jason sat him down and called a little bitch and told Michael to knock it off. The stunned look on Michael's face was a thing of beauty. Jason was the only parental figure to tell a young Michael to cut the crap. Jason was very insistent that he did not want Michael anywhere near Sonny's business. Had Jason not been "killed" he would have helped Michael find a life outside of Sonny's world. What also helped Michael was AJ coming back into his life. ( Although his return was way too short) AJ helped bring Michael out of the Sonny/mobster world and into the Quartermaine family and ELQ. If AJ had not come back, Michael would have become a part of Sonny's business. Michael will always be torn because he loves Sonny and Carly but he wants a life outside of the mob. This shift happened because AJ and the Quartermaines entered his life.

I believe Jose did abuse his sons and his wife. The brothers were adults and could have gotten themselves away from their father, however they would have to give up the lifestyle that their father provided. Let's say Jose did threatened their lives and they killed him in self defense, why did they need to kill Kitty?. They shot their mother at least 10 times and literally blew her face off. Talk about overkill. They killed Kitty because after they killed Jose, their mother stood between them and millions of dollars. If they let Kitty live they would be left with nothing. They are cold blooded murderers.

Yes, Joss can be a shade bratty but look at the person who raised her. Carly is the ultimate entitled spoiled brat and and some of this has rubbed off on Joss. All of Carly's kids have had an entitled brat streak in them. Michael was ordering hits on Carly's boyfriends when he was in grade school. What saved him was having Jason around to straighten him out, so Michael became a decent person. Joss has Jax so I don't worry about her. Morgan on the other hand had BOTH Carly and Sonny in his DNA. These two not only passed down their sociopathic DNA, but they encouraged and excused Morgan's behavior and look how he turned out.
