  1. That is one of my favorite, and most quoted, lines of the series. :) I just watched Phases last night (doing a rewatch of the series with my best friend who just moved in with me). Phases has always been one of my favorite episodes. I unapologetically adore Willow/Oz and her final line about not being that nice to be around three days out of the month never ceases to make me smile. That episode had everything....Willow/Oz love, great snark, Willow/Cordy interaction, classic Cordy (loved her reaction to daddy's car being messed up) and even Xander getting to stake a vamp (RIP Teresa).
  2. I have always loved Faith but (unpopular opinion) Kendra was always my favorite "second Slayer". I do wish they had let her live longer and spend a little more time in Sunnydale.
  3. If one person is lying to the other, with fake pics (which...aren't there always fake pics?) or false info, then they are catfishing someone. I wish we could get more episodes where it really ISNT a catfish (I still don't believe it was t-candle or whatever his name was and not his brother in that episode).
  4. I am a Disney channel fanatic so the first time I saw Murray, I was like "Uncle Kelbo!" It's sad that I only know the actor from Wizards of Waverly Place but I am thoroughly enjoying him in this role. Murray plays off both Bev and the kids perfectly. He is the perfect combination of manly man clueless dad and sweetheart (loved the movie rental episode where he gets Adam his own rental card at the end).
  5. It's interesting to me that the verdict here is that kids can have their parents as teachers. The only people I knew whose parents were teachers were back in Catholic grammar school and they were absolutely NOT allowed to teach their own children so the whole Corey as Riley's teacher thing has been bugging the crap out of me....so glad now I can ignore it. :) I know the message was very heavy handed but I liked this episode. Lucas looking so much older than Riley (and honestly, so much older than 13) is distracting to me. If the kids were supposed to be 15 and Riley just looked young, that would be one thing, but Lucas in no way looks to be 13 or even 14 years old. I liked the end where Corey gave Maya the cell phone. My take on that scene was that he wanted to give Maya the phone so she would "fit in" but knew she wouldn't like charity (like his BFF back in the day) so he came up with the whole "spy on my daughter" thing. I thought it was sweet of him to give her the colored pencils. I never thought he would tell Riley to end their friendship and he seems like he truly cares about Maya so it was a thoughtful gesture encouraging her towards something (which he knows she is not getting at home).
  6. I would have liked to have gotten to know new boys/girls for them, though....a complete season arc where they each had a real relationship with someone else. I know it's silly but I always wished for it.
  7. Favorite episodes.... Once More With Feeling Band Candy Doppelgangland Tabula Rasa Graduation Day 1 & 2 Witch Phases Prophecy Girl
  8. In light of the fact that Cory and Topanga ended up engaged by the time they graduated high school, I do wish the writers would have done a (very realistic IMO) season where the two of them decide that, in order to know for sure that they belonged together, they dated and had relationships with other people. Topanga in particular always struck me as the type of girl who would want to do that, just to "be sure". They could have maintained their friendship, brought in a couple of new characters to be the boyfriends/girlfriends and then reunited C/T at the beginning of the following season. If they truly wanted to make me happy, they would have nixed all the jealousy crap completely and then their reuniting would have been twice as sweet.
  9. I liked Brandy, she seemed like a nice girl, but if I had paid to travel all the way to another state and then gotten stood up, there is no way I would have continued talking to the person (no matter how nice they seemed). I enjoy watching the train wrecks on this show, but it IS nice to see a kind of happy ending one once in a while. Jeff and Brandy seemed like genuinely nice, likeable people. I hope they do take things to the next level, if that is what they both want.
  10. I was definitely not expecting James to be the guy in the pictures but I was sure it was going to be the "Hang" woman's son James. I was totally blown away when Gabby appeared on that screen (And seriously, Nev & Max, I want an explanation for the whole Hang person owning that phone number). I saw Miranda as being over the top needy. I don't think it would have mattered who showed up on the Skype call, she was going to be all "true love" about them. I do not have an issue with Miranda suddenly having an interest in women. I think she is so desperate for the love and understanding part of a relationship, she wouldn't care what is between the other person's legs (which I am not saying is a bad thing. People would label me bi-sexual because I fall in love with a person, not their genitals, so I will give Miranda the benefit of the doubt and assume she is the same). Like everyone else here, though, I cannot fathom how she could possibly TRUST Gabby enough to have even the smallest of flirtations with her. The girl is naïve, that much is obvious, but to trust someone who has spent 3 years lying to her veers from the naïve category to the idiot fast lane.
  11. I think my favorite part of the flash to Claudia as caretaker was when she told the new gang "You just reminded me of someone" or whatever it was. Unless I am crazy, Mrs. F said the same thing to the gang at one point. I don't know why, but that really touched me.
  12. I just got into this show recently (blame the boyfriend, he keeps getting me addicted to TV shows that have been on for years) and am loving it. I am up to the season 1 finale (that is tonight's episode before bed). I am absolutely fascinated by Walt and his chemistry. I was glad when he finally told his wife about the cancer but she is just pissing me off to no end. When she took it upon herself to tell people at a PARTY they were attending, I was totally on Walt's side for being pissed. He obviously wasn't ready to tell people/talk about it since he hadn't even told his son or the ever present sister & brother in law about it and Skylar thought he would be ok with her blabbing it at a party with people who, to quote Walt, are not even really a part of their lives anymore?! That said, while I have disliked her for most of season 1, I could feel for her during the "intervention" she staged to get Walt to agree to treatment. I disagreed with her on principle (it is a personal choice and Walt has a right to choose the way he wants to go out), but she really sold me on the fact that she was desperate to keep the man she loved with her, that he see their daughter grow up.
  13. Leonard shirtless doesn't bother me in the least. Nerd boy has a nice build. :) ITA with your assessment of Raj, Sheldon & Howard shirtless. Sheldon in his underpants....never ceases to amuse me and I have no idea why.
  14. Rebekah was one of my favorites on TVD and I actually liked her character more on this show. In retrospect, TVD Rebekah was much to obsessed with the "normal high school girl" stuff that didn't really make sense as far her actually being 1000 year old vampire. On the Originals, she played as much more mature and yet she still maintained that spark I loved in the original version. I was really glad Klaus called her to look after the baby because I hated that she left before getting to know her niece, which she actually seemed kind of excited about.
  15. Oddly, my boyfriend (before he was my boyfriend) got me hooked on this show. I mean, I had never even heard of it (yes, I must have been living under a rock for the last 4 years). He got me to watch the premier of the 2nd half of this season and I was completely hooked. Watched a marathon of the early part of the season and, by that time said guy was my boyfriend so I bullied him into giving me his Netflix password so I could catch up on early seasons. :)
  16. Ohh...fun! My five would be... Buffy Summers(as previously stated, she is good with bladed weapons & the girl doesn't stay dead) Willow Rosenburg (kick ass witch, always handy) Damon Salvatore (vampires are good to have around) Derrick Morgan (Who wouldn't want a hot, competent profiler on their team?) Elijah Michaelson (another hot vamp & he is unkillable and a fairly good planner)
  17. I don't know why that line tickled me as much as it did, but I laughed out loud.
  18. Shllbycindyk, that may have been the funniest thing I have seen on the internet in years. :) My mother did the same type of stuff with me. Thank God, she was no where near the smother that Beverly is, but she definitely had the mom lines down pat.
  19. I was really disappointed in this episode (like everyone else, it seems). I was expecting some twist, like the catfish was a guy or something, and instead got this pathetic girl who was doing this crap for attention...what a shocker! I hope they stick to romantic catfish in the future. Those episodes are way more interesting if just for the "wow, these people are morons" factor.
  20. Love Earl, as always, but hate that Deke is apparently gone. I liked him as a character and as a boyfriend for Max. They worked well together.
