I started this in fun but the thought of catching up on the last three days of Summer and Ava....maybe best to leave it at the suffocation today. The thought of that Dr. Grope will never leave makes me nauseous. I don't know if they ever addressed it, but Theresa saying I'm going to LA and walking out of the house made me think she might have forgotten about something.

Wish me luck on my vichysoisse today which sounds a lot harder than it is. I don't have a boat motor though. I never have full fat milk either but I've finished with sour cream in the past. Hungry for it and I'll freeze it in pints and use it as part of a bechamel for scalloped potatoes.

Anything involving Failure propping was due to fail. That's all it was. I'm so glad she is on less and less. I can't see how she can be rehabilitated though. If it had been revealed it was about Ben and Failure I wouldn't have watched so I'm glad for whatever entertainment I got out of it. I'm not adverse to killing sprees if done well.

UO. I'm over the Soras. It's been four months now. I'm glad she turned goth instead of the greedy earring kid. Who would walk in Failure's footsteps and with full knowledge. Current Ciara brings some hurt and innocence. As much of a fenom little Ciara was, she used the absence of her dad to control Hope and I didn't like it one bit.

I don't keep up on the social media but what disturbed me, writing to be sure, was chase saying it''s what we both want a few times. I'm grateful they showed very little. I don't blame either actor at all. Unpopular but I think she is as confused as Will was and I support her.

Oh good lord how I couldn't look away when Stan was on the screen. How original to cover Sami's maternity leave with a male lookalike. Days used to have a lot of humor and that's why I liked the Vday show, that had some self deprecating humor. And we got to see Kayla shoot Scarecrow. Remember the show where they all did movie spoofs and the teen scene made fun of themselves? There was something about how nobody understood anything Roman said, and long crotch shots on EJ, intentionally so he was in on the joke. Still spewing my coffee over that episode.

I'm having trouble keeping up. I said way back when, what, two weeks ago, why didn't Steve Call Hope. Hope has seemed in her own bubble forever. I love that even though I don't keep up on media because of spoilers, Steve and Mary Beth talked about how much they love working together and they, for me at least, have elevated everything above the AvaDaster that is nothing more than a rerun of Krazy Kristin. I'm starting to reappreciate the old Dimera krazy Andy brought back. And I still like Ciara. Hope was way worse when she started, before she changed her voice.

I'll be the pain in the ass. But I don't know why we're constantly discussing years old plots at length on old soaps I've never watched in the Current Plots discussion.

Cheeses Joe, as handsome as he is, is still keeping secrets? Steve has been nothing but straight with him. And hiding the fact he has Ava's number on callback when she informed him where to find Kayla, but saying nothing? Kayla cut to the heart of it thank goodness and called Roman. John Hughes is always a good time. It looks like Ava thinks the baby is dead. Steve handled her well today. Gee, what's not to like about a snake tattoo sticking out of the back of a pea green dress? I'm surprised I'm enjoying Andre now. Especially after the conversation between his hysteria and rational Chad. Sort of a nice contrast between 80's Days and now. So I'm enjoying him as a bit of a throwback. Why Andre doesn't have the police dig up fatha is beyond me, seeing as he had nothing to do with it. But he's already ruined evidence and is delusional as Chad pointed out. Chad gave him a kind of credibility. But his hat is too big.

It all had to do with Melamee sucking up the air space away from Stephanie (who was really stupid after they recasted her from the red head race car driver) so Mel could be retconned into being Naggie's granddaughter so they had to invent egg baby Taniel as her father and of course spaz baby would be his.

I found Abifail's reaction even more unusual than ever. She could have been surprised to have Chad walk into the house unexpectedly and see her in the so-so dress but she started out angry then crying and scared. She hasn't seemed overly worried about moving into the DiMansion (and sleeping in EJ's bed no doubt). It seems to come out of nowhere. Except for the dismissal of her mother's problems and her brother's advice. But somehow that will all serve to make us feel sorry for her. For some reason. Then to get that bright sunny grin she gets when someone is physically stroking her. Yuk. At least Belle owns her badness for the most part. So did Theresa but I expected she would be redeemed and she was. Belle? Failure? Yes for high Jenn. JJ should make brownies more often.

I've had more than enough of Eeyore to the point where I muted all of his scenes today and rarely do that. He's playing the same old childish petulant character with the same old scowl on this face that he's done his entire run. When isn't he angry about something or everything? He looks like he needs a shower because he still can't deal with his own naked manhood. I wish he'd died or at least be in prison. I need a break and a completely new Eeyore. He's usurped Rafe in the useless duh category. Oh, and Jenn hanging around the AA meeting that's supposed to be private? wth unless they're stoking the spark from a year ago. Same as they missed the boat on Rope.

And then the ones I should have deleted before posting ;) Anyone see the the "explosive" episode of Downton?? I had no idea that was going to happen and screamed something. One of my favorite non spoiled moments after not knowing the end of the Sixth Sense. My 10 year old didn't know why mom was screaming at the movie. There's a ghost cat but I can't find anyone else who's seen it.

To be fair, Will wouldn't have a shrine with displays of his bitchy articles and grandpa sweaters. Bo should have had a full Irish wake with lots of celebration and an open door for all who knew him. Not some dour long table put up in the middle of the pub. What strikes me about the shrine is that the general riff raff of Salem would never be invited into the inner Horton sanctum. No public allowed at their funerals. Yes about the size of the island. And I thought there was no cell service. No matter what, it was stupid Rafe said he couldn't have gone far in a half an hour. Um, a couple of miles, Rafe. Hope probably gives them debit cards. Speaking of money, STFU now Hope about how Rafe never got to go fishing or go on vacations or even had fresh fish in his diet. He was awfully nice about it, considering he told her over and over. She was keeping it up when they returned, so I expect sitting out on the ice was more of the same. These two don't have anything to talk about apparently. Hope should have called Kayla or Steve to check on Chase. Kid sounds like he'll do something dangerous to himself. She would quickly learn Kayla is missing. Why Steve hasn't called her as a cop to check into things unofficially is strange considering how close the two couples are. Claire's singing isn't the worst I've heard. She has a nice tone and is humble. I'd rather hear her than KDP's alto moantwang anytime. Kids these days don't care about hitting notes, singing or otherwise. They do whatever, record it and mix it into a song. This happens very cheaply in my own basement. Please, please, please Kill Eeyore once and for all. I can't stand the adolescent pout anymore. And they keep putting him in a hoodie. Dominos (?) and Phil? I can't keep the story straight since it's all invented. Poor Vic looks like he has some thoracic problems.

I haven't liked Chloe since Ghoul Girl days but I found her very maternal in the way she wanted the best for Parker. It's pretty generous of a mother to let your ex's fiance help your child through a hard time. She knows Nicole and that very dark, stuffy apartment mean a lot to him. I liked it when Nicole and Chloe went out for drinks back in the day. Chloe comforted Nicole, and Jenn too. I think it would be healthy to take down the fort now, though. I hope we're done with Dan's apartment with the magically increasing bedrooms. Thank goodness for NuParker and that line, one of the best ever. I've never been to a funeral and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I was ok with Dan's funeral because I expected something big, until the shrine. Flashbacks pissed me off and the stupid framed pictures.

I thought it was Buckingum.
