At least we finally got confirmation the other day that Ciara was "waiting to fall in love" and therefore a virgin. The way Failure auctioned off her virgin ring means the show shouldn't be ignoring that fact. But I guess few people could despise poorly written Chase than they already do.

Cheeses, about Chandler. Sure he phoned it in his last few months but Guy "dedicating" himself to the role or whatever, came across as acting and less genuine than Chandler. I felt like Chandler and Freddie shined together, even though I suspect Freddie felt a bit second place. He was enthusiastic about Guy stepping in then Guy crapped on it. My personal opinion is his acting and prissy face had as much to do with cutting off WilSon as anything else. Maybe because I cut the cable tv cord at least ten years ago I don't know VI but I'm finding it hard to get past the fact he looks so much like the singer Brian Ferry or even Craig Ferguson a bit. And all the retcons give way to a lot of exposition which I normally like since a big concern is a lack of backstories here. But so much shoehorning makes me snooze. I'm looking at you too Summer.

I take my humour where I can find it. Deimos, Kate and Nicole all finding themselves in the house alone asking each other why are you here was a hoot. More snarky Nicole, please. For me the number one motivation with Sami is that she never felt loved and kept looking for it her whole life. Whether she was wrong or right about it.

Carrie was nicked but never really hurt. Because she didn't care about Sami at all. I didn't get the idea Sami was trying to hurt Carrie more than she really wanted Austin. Maybe Carrie she thought she had the better pedigree? I don't know but her entitlement was unlikeable. Thanks for bringing up how Shawn preferred Kimber. That's true. That's why I love Kayla. She made her own way. Note to self. Take a private jet away from Salem to Europe and come back with a law/medical degree.

Mar definitely treats Carrie as a saint. Telling her to cheat on Austin and take Sami's husband Rafe? WTH. Not only that but she is only too happy to shake her head and blow off Sami to both Carrie and Eric. And she had an almost pathological interest in his VOCATION as a priest while ignoring his, as we can see now, bad reasons for being one. He rates well over Sami in Mar's book. Meanwhile, Jawn just calls them all keeeed. Roman loves Sami. When he's not drunk or whatever his problem is.

I like to think Steven and Mary Beth had some say in their characters watching football, making chili and being an adorably normal couple. We don't often see real life here. I think I might have started the kerfuffle here and I apologize. I have relaxed my spoiler tolerance quite a bit actually, since I really love this group of people. So I will be dreading along with some of you. I didn't message the mods though. Not that there's anything wrong with doing so.

One of my head moments with Sami is when Failure walked in and she stopped herself from the slap. Thank goodness there was the imaginary toss off the steps that should have happened. Days does memorable scenes.

Chandler really sold the gay storyline though. His scenes with Mar were a highlight over the 50 years. Even the conception. It was hot, but he was confused but it was caring and mutual.

I've always been bothered the alcohol flows so freely in front of Maggie, who will never stop hauling people off to meetings. Steve and Kayla. That's the way a loving, mature couple deals with a difficult situation. Chili, cornbread, beer and dancing like there's no tomorrow. Then you have Crabs who think the best way to handle a young woman who is hallucinating and generally losing her crackers is to have garden sex. Yuk. For a number of reasons. Brady had a couple of scenes where he looked at Jeannie T from afar and got it that she was good and loving and competent. That's enough for me. He must have been listening since I've been calling her that almost since she arrived. Another Jeannie here. Gosh what a pretty party dress she had on. She shouldn't have been on the floor the whole episode but JL can do anything and be great. Although I wanted Brady to help his blinking deflection to his relatives worked. It was silly and fun. And we got to see JL's big doe eyes tear up over the ring she loved. SO HAPPY summer's eve didn't nick it. Loved how Chad and JJ just turned away and didn't answer Jar Jar's shrieking for several minutes.

I was happy to forget that crap because of KM's constant grin when she's getting something and just puts it into her pocket like things she deserves. She never fulfilled her promise to go see the nanny who may or may not have died by now supposedly without heirs. Pretty much all of last year was about KM especially the anniversary. I remember thinking, Jenn had a kid in boarding school plus a nanny and didn't even call her son home when his father died? I get that she was angered to no end for Jack's "walkabout" abandonment. But what was she actually doing to ignore these kids so much? I was kind of surprised Fail said she also went to boarding school, I didn't know that. And it's bloody expensive in England. I guess it qualified her for a job at will from Jenn. With cadillac benefits.
