Nevada is a low tax state, so I think she’ll be fine. they Didn’t really dwell on psychological issues this time. In previous seasons, I felt like they looked at more route issues. Sara will be in a better place with a good car and a better house.

I’m enjoying the series. Great production, Michael Douglas is very good. Love that it is in English and French. plot is a little slow but I like the atmospherics enough that I don’t mind.

I just binged watched the first 5 episodes - what a well done series about such a painful chapter. Saw the ending of 5 coming so it wasnt a shock.

All The Light We Cannot See - General Discussion

I binged watched yesterday. The Nazis are all over the top. The violence too. Little suspense when needed. All the WWII tropes appear. Younger actors and Hugh Laurie are very good. What was Ruffalo’s accent supposed to be? Apparently there’s a lot of characters that are left out, and it felt like it. Meh. -
I haven’t a clue, except that him looking the guy was for us the audience to notice and wonder for ourselves

This episode showed what a good adaptation can do. Loved the William pieces - I now actually care about him, and getting Claire and Jamie to Ticonderoga quickly was a good move even though the actual fort and landscape looks nothing like their CG enhanced overhead shot. I’m more interested Brianna and Roger in the 1980s than in colonial times. One downside - there seemed to be more chemistry between William and Rachel than with Ian and Rachel.

The Last Thing He Told Me - General Discussion

Minor brownie points for an unexpected ending but eh??? Who was the mob contact inside the Marshall’s office? I really liked the actress who played Bailey even though the character was unlikeable for so much of the series. -
The new season is here and they are in New Orleans this time. I’ve only watched the first two episodes, but I gotta say I am still moved by the makeovers. The Frat guys were open to changing, and Stephanie had one of the biggest transformations I’ve seen on the show.

Ok, since we have a cliffhanger at the end of season 1, here are my thoughts: The plot turn on the PM was a surprise. The end of the episode is reminiscent of The West Wing’s season one cliffhanger, so my guess is that Ronnie will be seriously injured/dead, Stuart will have minor I injuries but major guilt, Hal will be unscathed and unrepentant. Kate will get PTSD recurrence. Who planted the bomb will be another plot line for season two, 1st half. Other thoughts?

I constantly spill things on me so I really identify with that. But yogurt on black pants is still going to show.

Omg the fight in the woods! Hilarious in so many ways. And fake-Biden Cursing is very funny.

Completely hooked already, so many characters and terrific dialogue reminiscent of The West Wing.

That’s closer to what really happened but I loved the drama in the episode.

LOVED the opening on Rodeo Drive with a cast of folks in a “tourist” car and Tim’s final sarcastic reference to how “unscripted” it was showing the car and all the production. several designers in the hunt for the big win. I really liked “festival girl” and her outfits, especially the textures she created in the skirt with the scarves. Oh well! Seems like it’s going to be Brazil vs China based on these looks, but things can change.
