I find it funny that something like this the helicopter just: "disappeared" and Hunt's hatred is because he had to blame Nathan for his sister getting on the helicopter instead of him. Because at this point everything with this story is so stupid. What are they going to find out? She was in a POW camp all this time that was just found?

Ok, here is the thing writers, when a person does not hear or see from a person they had a very brief relationship with, as Reba said, she can get the hint. Its not funny and you paint Vanessa, Mike and Ed as complete morons, that isn't funny either. You could have had just done with with Mike and her had had a previous relationship and they both ended up with good people. Not just manufactured drama for the sake of comedy, you've been on the air for 5 years, those episodes are always the most stupid and have the least amount of ratings and you use people like Reba to pull off ratings. Just don't, that was just not a good episode, I laughed, but that was because Tim Allen and Reba work well off of each other. However, the story and the way everyone was acting was just too stupid to work.

That could go either way. I know that the actress is a DC Comics fan. Last week's episode, I am happy they finally put Vanessa noticing how Mike seems to just want everything to himself because he feels he doesn't have an identity outside of work. However, I think the writers really go this: "Mike is going Old Man type" off the rails to the point they wanted to just sweep it under the rug and move on. While season 5 has been such a step up from the previous seasons, its like they writing these plots and have an idea of the story, but then write themselves in a corner. Its like with Eve right now, they have been exploring what she wants to do since she didn't get into Westpoint and is graduating. Of course they don't want to bring up the fact that she could still inlist in the army, but then they would have to address it and they don't want to. Same with Kyle, explaining why he has been a top notch worker, even winning Employee of the Month for years, but why he hasn't been promoted because he chose to play it safe. However, you think Ed or Mike would offer him a promotion and yet they have Mike constantly say its his own fault when he can offer him a promotion. Same goes with Mandy, oh she wants to be a fashion designer, yet she can't get out of the basement or finish up college. Same with Kristin, all the talk with being a doctor, then she was anti-vaccine and then she sees being in the restaurant business is her real dream. Same with Ryan, constantly talking about him wanting to make things better or have things his way. Yet he doesn't go get a damn job or goes back to school to make it better and all they do with Boyd is make him a brat and see the actor can't pull anything off on the show. If they really are writing themselves into constant corners, its either time to move on or they need new writers. The episodes are funny, but the stories fizzle out because they can't give them a satisfying conclusion, they just end all of a sudden or off screen. Like Ryan's dad dying, he appears out of nowhere and now he's dead. Their wedding happened over the summer, but we never saw it. Eve has all these friends and stuff, but we never see her hanging out or doing stuff until the last few episodes with them. Chuck talks about being put in the "black man" role, but yet he puts himself there and always makes a bad reference. Now Mike says he makes more money than Vanessa, oh shut up! Its 2016, not 1984.

Yep, I know it. Sometimes I feel like it to and many times its is because of other factors, but I do say: "This keeps happening when I do this, maybe I shouldn't do it anymore." Yet with both Lorelai and Emily they never got it and Lorelai more. The only TV character that has made that many financial mistakes and never seem to learn was Alan on TAHM.

Yes, especially after Lorelai used her windfall money from Richard's 30 year investment to pay Emily back as soon as she could. Lorelai had built this entire: "My parents suck and I want nothing more of their controlling like when I was a kid." Yet, that was Lorelai, she jumped into things right away. Despite Emily and Richard's misgivings, seriously, the FND were not as bad as she believed them to be. She could have taken that money, used it for the Dragonfly purchase because it wasn't like her and Sookie hadn't been talking about it forever at that point. Yet it was; "Yay! No more dinners with my parents, I'm free again!" Then she got the wake up call a year later when she borrowed money for Luke. I'm more smart about my money if I get extra from a tax return or something. I try to pay off things that are more of a concern and then do one lump payment of something to get the debt off of me. Yet, I get told constantly to just pay something off and be done with it. I learned the hard way that when you do that, all of a sudden you realize you are short $70 and need to pay the electric bill and have to wait a week and a half for your paycheck to pay for it. Yet, the electric company doesn't care and shuts the power off when its 20 degrees outside. Hence, I pay the main bills first and then do a big payoff. Lorelai was like: "Money, pay, life is great... wait what do you mean I need more money for something? WTF?" Seriously, it was like Lorelai didn't know what a budget was from living in a potting shed for the first few years.

Right on both cases. Trix's nastiness was something that she needed to let go. Her and Richard at that point were married for almost 30 years. You have to let it go some day. Of course Emily couldn't see past her nose with her interference that at times was so cartoony that I'm surprise she didn't get hit with an acme anvil at times.

Right, which would be an interesting story line for Ben. However, they painted it as "I'm the man, and I should be making more money than you." She's the chief and has been at the hospital since she was an intern, even gave a marriage to her career. Bailey has earned the salary. The problem with spouses who are in that situation is when they aren't smart with their money when they are making such a difference. At one point, my wife was making a lot more than me and we had bills and I told her that we should pay things off since we had the money to spare and there would be still plenty in the bank, but just basic debt. Her excuse was we needed to save and that any other bills that I acquired was my own damn fault and I should pay it off. Well, guess what? She lost her job and then we had extra bills and we had to on to the money we had, which had dropped since her hours were reduced just before she lost her job. We had to borrow money from her uncle who won it at gambling and her parents screwed us by buying their old car for $3,800 when it was really worth $1,200, but I had to smile and do it. Now, we have debt we both constantly complain about and while I do make more than when said situation happened. We could have paid things off, gotten a newer car and not owe her uncle money if she would have just not acted like Ben. Funny how money can become such a problem for couples when they really make a pretty good money to begin with and then realize that maybe they made a rash decision instead of being logical about it. Of course, I doubt we will see that with Ben anytime soon.

I always thought about the sibling factor for either Lorelai and Christopher. AS-P did an interview after season 5 that she never even thought about why their parents only had one kid and tried to put it in that they were annoyed by things Chris and Lore were babies and just decided: "We're done with one." However, I always felt that really missed the point with Rory and Gerogia, even when Rory told a guy on a date during freshman year at Yale if she had any siblings and she paused and then went: "No." When it was a lie, but at that point, they didn't want to do anything since Sutcliffe was busy on ABC with: "I'm with Her." Yet, when they did put Chris in more and brought Georgia in more, there was like zero interaction with Rory at all. She was home, she knew what was going on with Christopher at the time and yes, Rory was in college, but how about Rory dealing with having a sibling that young at her age. I had a friend of mine who's father got remarried during her sophomore year in high school, and her mother had died when she was 4 so. It wasn't like her father remarrying was fresh off the boat and they had a baby the following year. My friend was almost 17 and she said how odd it was to have a sibling at that age, but she wanted to be a good big sister and still is to this day. I had same happen to me at 12 going from an only child to being the oldest of 5 since my parents remarried. While I wish I had been more involved with my younger siblings, I made an effort, but they understood I was in college and much older than them. Now, they are in their mid 20s and I really wish I had more of a relationship with them, because now we are grown up, live in different states and just can't have that time together. I would have love seen Rory playing tea part with Georgia or at least taking her to the park. Instead it was: "Lorelai gets to have another kid and be a mom again." Hello!? She had a sister, but that wasn't as important as AS-P having Christopher on a regular basis, since she was in love with the character so much.

He was more upset that he was the person being forced out. I think if Richard would have been Jason's mentor in the company and Floyd wouldn't have been handing Jason, Richard's accounts and clients and making him stand in for Richard at monthly meetings, Richard would have taken it better. It was not only the norm that Jason was to take over for Floyd, but I'm sure everyone figured that was the point, but if it would have been one of them being put in that situation (which Richard admitted happened), I would be upset too. Along the lines of: "We know he is going to take over for you as the boss and that's why he is here, but why the hell do you need him taking over my position, when I'm not doing anything wrong?" In fact, when Floyd wanted Richard back it was pretty much admitted that Richard was exceptional at the company with only a handful of mistakes in the 30 plus years he was there. So, if anything, Richard felt betrayed and he had a right to feel that way.

Which was a type of growth from Emily I just loved, as many have said, these three episodes were fantastic just before the show's decline the following season. I love Emily here and her reasons, but then doesn't take her same advice that lead to Wedding Bell Blues. I swear it was a podEmily from the one in season 4 and the evil mustache twirling Emily we got in Season 5 and 6.

I agree, their silence and Jason and Floyd in the background made it such a compelling scene. Well acted and written. I really felt bad for Jason there, but at the same time, he brought it all on himself. Same with Floyd, he pushed Jason to the point he didn't want to be his successor and they now were now truly at odds with each other. Plus, the final scene between Floyd and Richard was also amazing the entire: "And Jason is out?" "Jason is out." And then just no more words but the birds chirping in the background as they walked the golf course. Wow! What a scene. How very true, Trix while putting out information n Richard's 3 week borrowing money over a bad deal and her writing the letter before his and Emily's wedding and then deciding to just lock it away forever. Trix was very well spoken and when she didn't like something, she expressed in some way, but at the end of the day, she knew when to choose between anger and being respectful. The letter being found by Emily and Lorelai after Trix's death was shocking, but it also told volumes of Trix's character. She choose to lock the letter away and let Richard and Emily get married. Emily had extreme opinions on Lorelai's choice of men or relationships. Her biggest reason for trying to break up Lorelai and Luke was over status and acting like Chris was some prize winning horse in the Kentucky derby and still said he was a moron, but a better choice given his family. Instead of some diner owner. Plus you add in Richard basically sneaking in the Yale interview for Rory or his secret lunchins with his ex-fiance and what he did to Jason and even letting Emily do the sabotaging of Luke and Lorelai. This was stuff that Trix wouldn't have done given the situation and would have kept the dislike openly private with insults or other things, but wouldn't flat out say to the person's face: "I hate you, get out of town, I wish you would never have been part of my family."

Yeah, I had the problem when it went to CD in the 90s and I didn't put down my canceling so I got it and still had to pay. We finally got it sorted and just paid an extra $37 and I was good. I have to admit it was nice because I really got a lot of current bands and sound tracks I loved during the time, but really you get caught up and I remember seeing it so much I went: "Oh just stop." If you are starting or are into the bands they offer the first few months, you are in good shape. After that is when it becomes a problem.

It wasn't any better either when Jason asked Lorelai out. He said: "It would make your parents mad." Lorelai: "You suck." Then she laughs and smiles about it and of course there relationship was off. Looking back, Jason seem to want to make these choices to piss off someone and everyone got into these deals knowing full well that it would. Floyd then fired back on a double hit not only exposing Richard using his pension for the business but also outing Jason and Lorelai, which pissed off Emily and Richard. While I understood Richard's view (oh, so you decide to date my daughter behind my back, when I'm your business partner). Emily acted like Jason was not good enough when he met all of Emily's criteria for who Lorelai should date. Still, I think Floyd was the worst person in the long run, he got mad not just because Jason went into business with Richard, but because he didn't want to inherit the family business. Yet, he was being successful and had even been a "good" kid in college. Just using his parents to pay for college, but he did everything on his own. Until his final appearance, really Jason didn't much wrong outside thinking he had to piss off people like his parents and Lorelai's parents because he could. Another UPO, really his nick name: "Digger" was so misplaced, even when they explained why he had that nickname. It really didn't make sense.

How very true, when it comes down to it, both characters weren't perfect, but in the long run I take Lane's side any day. I also agree, I hate grandparents who think their way of parenting was the best. No one's parenting is perfect and to see Kwan and Steve under those guide lines, dear God, never in a million years. It will be interesting to see how they are in the revival as they have been shown in set pics several times. Truth be told, I hope they are just typical 8 year old boys who have talent for music, but still get into trouble, but listen to their parents. No hiding things from Lane and Zach and fear they will be kicked out of the town.

That's exactly it! That's why I never saw Lane as being really contemptuous about her mother. She hid these things since she was 9 as she pointed out. Plus, she went into panic mode to even think about displaying something like that to her mother. Remember the purple hair situation? Another thing was being a Seventh Day Adventist family. It would have been easy to say why they ate the way they did instead of: "You eat this or you get nothing!" that they had Mrs. Kim doing. Instead of: "Because it keeps you healthy and we are known to live longer than most people by eating this way." Plus Seventh Day Adventists have a very high standard for college graduates since higher education is highly regarded in the religion, but many members don't go to strictly 7th Day colleges. Many go to community colleges or known state colleges and even go to get PhDs at a regularly young age. Truth be told, I would have loved the real reason why Mrs. Kim, raised Buddhist would turn to Seventh Day Adventists religion. Now, if they would have said that Mr. Kim (If he had ever existed) was already part of that and still from a traditional family. I could have seen him hiding it as well and after becoming a member, Mrs. Kim just went overboard with it, where some people who marry into a different religion do. However, it seems like she went: "Oh, you are strict like my parents were, I'm joining you, screw you Buddha!" Because it was AS-P idea of "rebelling".

That's why I did get Lane's position and how it was portrayed on the series by AS-P and the other writers. They really painted Mrs. Kim as a Dragon Lady at times with rules, I think if they would have kept her strict and not Looney Tunes comedy with: "You buy something or get out!" or "You touch it, then you buy it or get out!" I think I could have dealt with her character better in the first few seasons or at least start taking the turn with her in season 2 instead of after season 4 when everything hit the fan with Mrs. Kim and Lane. My mother even said and I quote: "They are making her a stereotypical Korean bitch who is dedicated to a religion that the writers don't know anything about. Talk about bad writing." That was the thing too, Rory and Lorelai knew Lane's secret stash and so did her band and from what we heard in passe talking, so do her friends at school. So, the big secret was it was from her mom and while I get she wanted to listen to her stuff in the privacy of her own room. It felt weird she kept everything in the secret floor panel that even Lorelai said was too much. Then Mrs. Kim found it completely by accident even though she was snooping in the room. I'm surprised she never found it before. However, I do agree, Mrs. Kim gave Lane a lot of opportunities when it was something along the lines she didn't feel was a problem. Hence why she was in the school marching band, was able to be a cheerleader, even dating Dave briefly or seeing Rory and visiting the Gilmore Home over the years. However, I never got that Lane ever showed she hated being in a Seventh Day Adventists family and even when sex was first brought up, she said how apparently all that stuff sunk in so it had a point and didn't want to do it without being married (even if the first time even sucked and got pregnant with twins) still find that beyond stupid to this day. What I do want to point out is that I find Mrs. Kim being more in the wrong when you look back at the series than Lane, but Lane isn't completely innocent either. Maybe, just maybe if the series would have bothered having a Mr. Kim instead of a running gag how he was never around or not shoe horning Grandma Kim into Lane's wedding and that Mrs. Kim had been doing the same as Lane all these years. I think we all would have had a better opinion or view of Mrs. Kim instead the harping, bitchy, strict woman she was for the first four years of the show. I consider seasons 5-7 to be the best for Mrs. Kim in not only character growth, but also becoming a person and not a foil to why Lane existed. Because no matter how much you say it, and another UPO I never got that Lane and Rory were Best Friends, life long friends, but not Best Friends.

I remember reading that too, then my best guest is that Richard died in early fall and even makes more sense with AS-P talk about why Fall is the conclusion to the revival. It would be a year since Richard died and how everyone has moved on since then.

That's actually the best speculation and way to bring in all these characters from the Headmaster at Chilton, to the LADB. I can see both a memorial/dedication and a passing by of everyone and keeping the story strictly on Emily, Lorelai and Rory. Yet, we get the: "Where are they now" stories and then move onto where the main cast end up by the time we get to Fall. I'm seeing that Richard died in late fall/early winter and hence Winter being the aftermath, but not the funeral. That way when Spring starts we have everything set up in the previous episode and then moves to the conclusion in Fall. Where in AS-P's exact words: "It will come to an end with a beautiful golden setting and life moving on." Much like the song by Cole that the episode titles are based on.

Oh no, I completely agree with that too. Its my house and my rules, but at the same time, there should be room for compromise. We lived with my wife's parents briefly when I was unemployed. Trust me, there was no room for compromise in that house and now that we have had our own house for three years. My father-in-law is shocked by the compromises I give, but still keep my foot down. I told him that unlike him, I'm willing to try and look at the other side of things, but its my house and my kids do have to know that, but I don't want them to live in fear that they can't talk to me like his kids did with him, even as adults.

I could see Dean owning his own renovation business since he was great at building and only was working in construction because he was forced into it by Lindsey and then had no where else to go after his divorce since he dropped out of school as a result. I be happy to find out that after a year or so, he finally went: "This is my own damn fault, I made some stupid decisions because I was a kid. Time to get my life in order." Most likely Lindsey remarried, he didn't have to pay alimony as a result and went back to school, took out some student loans and got things together. Wouldn't be that hard to write the scene. Rory could even say: "I haven't seen or heard from you since I graduated from Yale." Dean: "Yeah, well, had some tough days ahead, I was mad at everyone, but I realized it was my own fault and it was up to me to get things in order, so I did." "Went back to school, I have a family of my own now, and things are good." Rory: "I'm so happy to hear that." End scene.

That was my UPO of Mrs. Kim because I saw that too. I mean, many say that Lane was in the wrong, but I said that after we met Mrs. Kim's mom and saw that she had been doing the same with her religion and other beliefs as a 7th Day Advent, I immediately went: "She is a liar and a hypocrite." I'm sure that Grandma Kim was extremely strict and Lane's excuse to Rory and Lorelai was: "Mom is just from this traditional Korean family and that's why she is like that." Yet, Grandma Kim showed no evidence of: "Children shouldn't make the rules." or "BUY something or GET OUT!" I mean, she didn't want Lane watching Sesame Street because she believed Cookie Monster represented gluttony, when she was raised Buddhist. It made Mrs. Kim come across of: "Where the hell did she ever get this, I run the world attitude and you will burn in hell if you don't agree with me." Yet, after Lane left the house Mrs. Kim came to realize she had gone too far, started excepting Lane's life, the band and so forth. I felt that Mrs. Kim and Lane's relationship is what Lorelai and Emily should have had by the end of the series. Because in the process, Lane understood her mother finally and that she shouldn't have hid her "secret stash" to begin with. However, to this day, I'm just wondering why Lane never went: "Why did you turn into this my way or the high way kind of person when you weren't raised that way at all?"

I'm happy to read that too. I'm sure he's in town visiting the family or something and then runs into Rory. They have quick update on things and then Dean does moves on and as we know, we don't see him for the rest of the episodes. Since Jared said he only did one day of shooting and is only in the first episode. I'm thinking at the most, Dean is probably only in 10 minutes of Winter and he might also be there for the Winter Festival.

Even saying that Taylor hasn't changed one bit in the last 7 years. He's still doing what he does.

Especially when they were still hung up things that should have been long buried *cough* Christopher *cough*. Emily's pride just never knew when to end, and she didn't realize when it was more hurtful than good when it was too late. She realized when Lorelai left with Rory, when her and Richard were separated briefly (though the entire situation with Penelin was completely stupid!). Plus, her going to the point she felt that Lorelai marrying Luke would make her look bad. Lorelai didn't help matters, she either made jokes or looked for ways to piss off her parents if the opportunity arose, which did get irksome after awhile. The wedding planner situation comes to mind. Plus, as soon as Lorelai decided to pay Emily back with the money she got from the property sell off. She saw it as a way to stop having a sword over her head instead of realizing now with the money out of the way, maybe they could start actually being a family without obligations. Something Emily didn't want to admit too and why she got so upset and why Richard didn't want Lorelai using the money for that or even mentioning it to Emily. Something I'm hoping for the revival is that Emily and Lorelai finally settle things for good, enough pride because much like Richard, one day Emily is going to die and then what? Stay mad at a dead person? I've seen too many family members still bitter on that when you go: "They're dead!" "What's the point anymore?"

Yeah, I like how they are introducing the Hand and the war that was touched on constantly in the first season. Not to mention this is also hints of the Iron Fist series being dropped here too apparently.
