  1. I agree and its going to be one of these reasons. 1. She did it so the person could get a green card. 2. She is married to an abusive husband and is either hiding in plain sight or they had a child together. And for some bullshit reason they are still married. 3. She is legally separated from her ex husband but he won't let her get a divorce. 4. Someone was watching Castle and Jo got married in Vegas, didn't think it was real and found out just before Alex proposed that they are still married and he won't give her the divorce because he is a big drama king. 5. Her real name isn't Jo and she is in witness protection from Fitz from Scandle.
  2. Wow! Both Ben and Bailey are real pieces of work. I hate the "they have to admit I'm right and then kiss my ass." Then you have Meredith making everyone feel horrible before major events. I didn't find the moment with Penny funny, I was saying: "Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out." Penny has been such a big disaster of story lines since the death of Derek. The makes people make dumb decisions where ever she goes and then she goes: "Why does my life suck?" As for Alex at the end. Man, poor guy, but at the same time, he deserve an answer. Its either yes or no and if Jo doesn't want that, then Alex has wasted his time.
  3. Ok, let's get this edited and out by September. Let FALL begin!
  4. I know, its just like TV troupe with divorces and how alimony works. Since season 3 they really didn't know what to do with Mike and Molly. They decided to turn Molly into this spread thrift, who unlike her sister living rent free, amounted a ton of money and yet spent it on pot and good times. Yet Molly, who could have: A. paid her student loans down. B. gotten forgiveness as she also has her masters and was at the same school for over a decade. C. Could have gotten the VP job no problem and then still became a writer on the side. D. Had to have her and Mike have fertility problems just like all married couples on TV who are trying to have babies. Instead it comes that Molly has no sense of finances, her mother and stepfather couldn't at any point go: "You have good jobs and tons of money, get your own damn place!" Or even have Mike who also passed his promotion tests get a better position as detective or field trainer and still be in the job. Yet it turned into: "We don't know how to write that and make it funny, so, let's just have Molly quit her job for a stupid reason and have Mike look like a moron and make both sets of parents seem like they should have died from stupidity at one point or another.
  5. Yet in Illinois they check us like no tomorrow. I even got hit once because my ticket was one way when the person had screwed up to give me a one day pass.
  6. And then some. Why its been the butt of jokes for divorces on TV shows the last 15 years.
  7. I know it was established a while ago, but you would think even with Mitch being a lawyer that the entire alimony thing between Jay and Shelly would have ended years ago. As crazy as she is (why the had Jay paying her so long). She has been seeping Jay for money for over 20 years while their kids have moved on, gotten married, had families of their own, who are in college and so forth. I didn't find it funny, its one of those TV troupes where the ex (usually the ex-wife) is able to get an ungodly amount of alimony from their ex and be able to have them keep paying into it well after that would or should end. The rest of the episode was funny, even Luke getting doped that it was a tutoring session than a hook up. While I did crack up at Gloria, there is no way, that she would have been left to coach like that by a conductor. He would have then also asked to see her coach ticket. You don't just sit on a train without a ticket. He had no idea if she was coach, VIP or 1st class he just assumed and I saw a lot of other attractive women on the 1st class car. That guy would have been out of a job. So, the story falls apart fast even if the way it was portrayed was funny. As for Manny, could they have just left him at the last stop and had him use his pompous whit to get himself home. He dragged it down faster than Luke, at least his story was funny. Always love Phil and Cam and Phil and Mitch and Mitch and Claire.
  8. I have to agree, the plan should have been Mike and Molly moving out and then going with the baby. Instead of Molly just all of a sudden quitting her job as a teacher when she was trying to become a VP and also getting loan forgiveness. They really don't know how the Chicago school system works or how loan debt can be forgiven.
  9. As I said from the recent episode. The entire family has really become a family you just don't want to know. Gloria is so two-faced with Manny about saying how he is a gift to the world and then turn around and telling him she has lied about him being so gifted. Yet, what does Gloria do all day? She spends money, uses products to keep herself looking "hot" and caving into "cliches" on how to raise kids now. Joe at least comes across as a normal kid, he takes things literlly from his parents. Gets into trouble without thinking first since he's 4. Manny keeps doing things and expecting the family to care and really no one does. Instead of getting a hint and just going: "Well, I like who I am." He pours it on everyone and then Jay comes across as an asshole who belittles Manny. Instead of the former stepfather who while annoyed, came to love Manny as one of his own. Also, why does everyone buy Jay and Joe hate Stella now? Gloria and Manny wanted to keep the dog and then it was too much for them? Stella never did anything to the point where they should act that way. She just wants attention like any other family pet and knows she can get it. Yet, Gloria acts like Stella is out to murder her. Then you have the flip flop between Manny is a jealous older brother, to wanted by girls and then back to: "Why does no one like me?" Then speaking Spanish to: "I forgot because I like French better." He's a great place kicker on the football team to being the worst? I mean come on. Pick a Manny writers and stay with it. The entire Prichard Family has become a bunch of self-absorbed assholes and its not funny, its just odd.
  10. It's like I said earlier, Jay should have just said to him that his walking around and doing things like that are to the point no one cares about. Not going out of his way to make him feel bad and turning Joe against his brother. That was just horrible. Manny keeps doing things that he expects the family will just go: "Awesome Manny." When really, even Gloria doesn't care about it, and yet she enables him by telling girls how awesome Manny is or even trying to do things. Yet then turns around and tells him things like: "You don't understand, you're not married." or "You aren't as great as you think." Gloria is so two-faced when it comes to Manny. Jay has not just become downright asshole to Manny now. I'm sure Jay is counting down the days that Manny goes to college and he just has Joe to worry about. AS for Alex and Reuben, its like with the writers going to such lengths to have Haley and Andy together. Why should we care? Why is it so great? It's not funny, Reuben comes off as someone who is a future serial killer and Alex is more mean than Jay was to Manny. At least Jay just told how he felt, Alex went as far as embarrassing Reuben and going just short of getting a restraining order on him. Yet, he didn't get the hint and then Alex goes with him anyhow? That isn't funny, that's very demoralizing and the moral is: "Be obsessed with a girl who is actually back with her boyfriend, you'll win out in the end." I also read some things on the actor who plays Sanjay, he's been doing a lot of things out of Modern Family and why he isn't on very much, similar to Andy who is busy on other projects. Yet, TPTB have some love on for both actors and have to keep them on and use them even if it doesn't make any sense. I just feel like they are spinning to do things with Claire and failing miserably with it. They could have built this half of the season on Claire really dealing with the nay sayers of the Closet Company and finding her own way. Instead, they have her trying to still impress people, becoming paranoid like Jay about spies in the company (sadly true) and how much her helicopter parenting has really destroyed kids skills of trying to do anything like tie their shoes. Its really sad when the characters you are not enjoying are Cam and Mitch and the last few years, I thought they were the worst written characters and now they've flipped it to them and only Phil being characters to care about. Despite being yourself there are many times I want go to Manny and go: "Would you get a clue and stop being oblivious to things?" Or to Luke and go: "Learn how to talk and guess what? The sky is blue."
  11. Something that I felt really didn't make sense in any shape or form was the other OB doctor. Seriously? What the hell was that about? I get he's older and has had more experience, but Arizona is the professional surgeon with babies and as they had to hammer in the ground, "learned from the best". Yet, he was like: "Well, the baby won't live and I don't know any other 'special' ways, so let's get the kid out." Also, so interesting you can just shove the kid back into the mother so easily with the magic bands. I hated the trial completely, especially for someone from divorce parents who both remarried. At least my parents' lawyers had a sense of intelligence and not like Callie's lawyer who was the TV troupe "shark" who just asked and did things that really had me shaking my head. Arizona's lawyer wasn't much better, while a bit more professional, many times since introducing her, she is just a one-note bitch, who is just determine to win. When she kept hanging up AZ's iPhone. I was like: "ok, you do realize that as a doctor that might be a life or death call." Also, something that Grey's has never done with any person looking outside the doctor window from parents to average joes. Saying how much doctors don't take the time to focus on their marriages and families and they are so engulfed with their jobs. I just want for once for them to turn and say: "I'm sorry, should I just let the person die when I know I can save them? Just so I can worry about the laundry being done?" I was happy when Arizona told everyone in the room, that she was a doctor and something was happened that could cost someone a life even if it meant losing the custody case. However, for Callie, she did this all to herself, but to lose full custody of her only child like that. Man, that was horrible.
  12. You want to add something too. My sister-in-law knew a former employee who after working 4 years at the company had his car in the shop and got lost to work. He used his GPS for 4 years to always get to work. He never once looked at the streets or path he took for FOUR YEARS! I mean there is relaying on tech and there is common sense. That's the problem, these kids are lacking such common sense these days its ridiculous. That's what gets me with Adam and Barry at times. They are lacking common sense to the most basic things. Of course, look at Murry.
  13. It also wouldn't be that hard to believe, many couples have done that. Known quite a few who did that and reunited a few years later and got married. I'm sure there are a lot of Team Jess out there, but if Logan and Rory end up together in the end. I won't find it that far fetched at all.
  14. That does bother me. It isn't like Bev hasn't gone over recipes or even encouraged cooking to all three kids. However, I do know a 17 year old who doesn't even know how to make a grilled cheese or peanutbutter sandwich because their mom has always done it for them. She's going away to college, I hope she at least learns how to make mac and cheese. What helicopter parenting will do to their kids, they then don't know how to do anything.
  15. I even had a conversation with some coworkers who were in high school less than 10 years ago and they said they would see that kind of stuff as way too much, or even call it stalkerish. Yet, my nieces, nephews and younger cousins, this is considered pretty norm.
  16. Yeah, I don't get Alex going to the prom either and if they want to continue to make us believe that her and Sanjay are back together, then SHOW them together. Also, Manny at the beginning of the episode with the espresso cup, I just wanted Jay to go: "Why do you keep doing that?" "You don't look wiser than your years, you look like an idiot!" "When are you going to learn that?" As for Claire's situation, umm... just why?
  17. We didn't consider DS "hot" it was AS-P's actual words, just like certain show runners of Everwood and Brothers and Sisters considering an actor "hot" and they had to make him shirtless when they could (their exact words). Yet, they never did ANYTHING with the characters to make us think that. I know you have actors like Greg Grunburg or Michael O'Keef who are BFFs with certain big name hollywood people and seem to show up where they go. However, when said shows are over and so forth. Those actors realize they don't have ins anymore. It reminds me of when 7th Heaven finally went off the air and a lot of these actors were all of a sudden out of work. Even though half of them found work in other series (before what happened with Stephan Collins). However, many were then viewed as: "We don't think you are such 'hot' stuff, so we'll call you, don't call us." DS is one of those actors.
  18. Yeah, it was more of DS wants than what AS-P and the WB were offering at the time. Many actors these days when a show they are on has a long run, they usually say: "I hope I'm employed again soon." The acting world is very fickle about people depending on their: success, age, previous work, ect. I remember Ed O'Neil saying how he was seen as Ed Bundy for years even though he did other work where he really shined as an actor and not the shoe salesman with a horrible family and life. Mark Hamil got caught in that too and then turned to voice acting and made a pretty successful career at it. I do know that DS has said after going back to Gilmore Girls, he was happy to have a fall back because after they wrapped up I'm with Her. He had 0 offers on things. However, AS-P went out of her way to shoe horn in characters and actors who were just free too. Dean's final appearance was a grand example of that and his marriage was suppose to be his farewell to the series until his other shows crashed and burned. I know Jared said that he is trying to keep work going because even with another Supernatural season. He and Jason Ackles really do wonder how much longer they can go, they are running on fumes. You have in Marty who was busy with Broadway and they threw him in when he was free. While AS-P is one of the worst to throw in actors just because they are free. She sadly didn't think of keeping her actors when she knew they probably get more work from other studios. DS now ends up where ever he can find work now. He isn't considered the "hot" actor anymore.
  19. Complaining about things. Trying not to admit she is wrong, trying to make Manny feel like he is king of the world, when she knows he isn't and even telling him. Apparently trying to raise a kid with a father and spending lots of money on things and hating the dog she encouraged Jay they should own.
  20. Yeah, I do wonder what would have happened if a lot of those factors wouldn't have happened. Especially, when it came to both Christopher, Alex and Max if they wouldn't have had their own series as a result. I still feel that Lane and Zach were just thrown together and then there was this: "They were in love all along." I still go: "What?" to this day. As for David Sutcliffe, if AS-P wouldn't have had this constant love for him as she showed time and time again, I do wonder if Chris would have had a proper send off instead of the wonderful inclusion of Jason that then turned into a real bad ending by season 4. I do know the show was in ratings trouble in the season and why Luke and Lorelai were put together as a result. However, Nicole still leaves a bad taste in my mouth to this day. It was so horribly handled and dragged on for way to long.
  21. They never revealed when the Crapshack was actually built. My wife grew up in a house built in the mid 70s that had 4 bedrooms and only one upstairs bathroom for the entire house. Yet their previous house before that had two bathrooms (one up and one down) and only three bedrooms built in the 60s. My wife and I went through a house built less than 10 years ago that had two bathrooms upstairs with three bedrooms, but had no living room and only a kitchen/dinning room and a hall closet and it was a 2 story house. So, can I believe that Lorelai bought a house that wasn't practical in design? Sure. However, the way it kept switching for over 7 seasons on how it worked. They acted like it was the Room of Requirement from Harry Potter can could do whatever you wanted it to do if you needed it. So, a back entrance to a front porch. Why not? I do believe that shows need to have floor plans of how a fictional residence works because other wise it constantly changes and people go: "Wait!" "How is that suppose to work?" Kind of like Grey's Anatomy, the surgical, OBGYN and Trauma departments have been unchanged for 12 years. Yet the entire hospital has room, department and extremely weird security that changes episode to episode. Same happened on Dr. Ken and Last Man Standing recently. Their houses don't make sense outside the living room, basement and kitchen. It changes with whatever the story plot is for the episode.
  22. This season finale was by far the most boringness. Jay Leno was shoehorned into the episode. Mandy's idea of why Kyle and her should live with her parents was beyond naive. Even though I loved that Kyle showed Mike and Vanessa how awesome he is and also Mandy telling him he has to stop acting like he has to be the best with everyone. I do like they have not messed with Kyle's character outside of him missing braincells when the writers think its funny. I mean he is still the youngest of 3 brothers, mother died early, father left and the grandmother raised the boys. I just think it was stupid that Mike is now seeing how great Kyle is with regular things when he has talked about how he has no motivation and so forth. Yet, he is the best employee at Outdoor Man and him and Ed have basically walked all over him. Never offered him a promotion because he has never asked for it. Also, so much was left in the air. I mean, Ryan, Kristin and Boyd never really moved into their new house, Eve was graduating high school, but we have no idea what she is going to do such as: go to college, enlist, or just have a girl band in her parents' garage. Plus, what about Eve's supposed BFF? Is she moving out of the Laribes and her parents are coming back from Europe? Which also never made sense, you can't be gone that long on only a 90 day VISA. Of course ,why would the show do that kind of research? What about Vanessa getting her contract renewed for the school? She was going back and forth about how much she hated school politics so did the school decided it was time for her to leave? Are Ed and Wendy still getting married? That's been the problem with LMS the last few years, all these plots and nothing gets solved or it is just wrapped up in a word because the writers write themselves in a corner like they have with Ryan's constant unemployment, Kristin dropping out of school, Boyd going to a private school. Mandy's home fashion line going no place or now here with Kyle just leaving his apartment because they are getting married in a few months. Because you know, if we didn't see Ryan and Kristin's wedding why see Mandy and Kyle's? I'm sure this will get another season, but I think its time to close up Outdoor Man and the Baxters next year. The writers don't seem to know how to write.
  23. I think the GW looked at plots from the early late 90s/2000s when everyone wanted to go to France for some reason ei: Dawson's Creek to Friends. As beautiful of a place as France is. Sorry, you can't get more than 90 days on a VISA as everyone has said. Unemployment is very hight and after the terrorist attacks. Its has a lot of businesses and people saying: "I don't think so." Yet, come on! Everyone wants to go to Paris! Right? Right? Oh wait, that was the 60s. Really, 2 episodes left and this train wreck is finally over.
  24. Christopher is that parent that screws up or is so oblivious to things and yet everyone enables his behavior. Its like the father or mother who is over bearing or feels they know the world better than everyone else. Yet, when they do things that hurt or screw up their kids or other peoples lives. They still get off the hook because someone says: "Just tell them what they want to hear." Instead of: "Would you get a fucking clue!"
  25. Yeah, the more I read and now see these interviews, I think that SP and LG relationship was professional and not the back and forth that the tabloids and websites have made it out back in the day and a few years later. Seeing that happen with the current Castle talk between NF and SK, which will most likely be just "talk" in a few years. I agree with what everyone said about C/L. Yeah, he was a foil and a simpler time, but as shown in S7 with the "illegal" wedding in France. When it was all down, they were just not that. Two people who dated, had sex over reckless reasons and had a kid as a result. In Chris's case, two kids. However, I think if AS-P wouldn't had such a hard on for David Sutcliff and have locked him in before ABC did during season 3. She could have gotten her wish fulfillment done in season 4 and moved on.
