Yep and as I explained above, there is a chain of command and even the big wigs can't do it all on their own.
-
Yes, he was the Chief of Staff of the old board and what's her name from The Profiler and Nip/Tuck was apparently the CFO. Who had played so many corners the no CFO would even have a hand in. Ok, formerly working in health care, here is how a hospital Staff of Directors work: CEO -Usually the head of the hospital Hospital VP- Second in command and fulfills when the CEO can't. Chairman of the Board- Usually voted in to handle operations of the Hospital, can be the CEO or other people in or outside the Staff of Directors. CFO-Handles the Money. Chairman of Security- In charge of security and chain of command when codes are called. Staff Controller- Workers under the CFO and makes sure bills are paid and money is flowing right, usually the Director of Operations. Chairman of Staff-In charge of Staff personal and workers. Usually just above HR director of HR Vice President depending on how HR is set up. Chief of Emergency Services- Usually a doctor or former doctor who is in charge of daily running of emergency medicine. Chief of Surgery- directors over surgery or doctors in training unless there is a Director of Medical teaching. Chief of OB- Rare, but in charge of OBGYN services . Head or Chief of Oncology- Cancer Services. Clinical Chairs or Rotation- In charge of clinical or PEDs depending on the size of the hospital or medial establishment. Chief of Housing Services- Cleaning, stabilizing, ect. usually custodial and cleaning and electrical services. (most services of electrical or mechanical are serviced out for money saving). Director of Hospitality/Food Services- In charge of food operations for the hospital and staff under them in food services. Stores Director- Inventory and supplies for hospitals can vary depending on medical establishment. Volunteers Director- Hospitals have many, many volunteers, those services make up from gift shop to just greeting people. Psych Director- Depending if hospital has a mental health suite or wing. Usually has over 8 years of professional services, board certified and usually in charge from counselors to interns of mental health. Also has basic first aid training in case of emergencies. Director of Nursing Services- Handles nurses, CNAs, etc and assignments. Call Center Manager- Handles calls and transfer services. Laboratory Director- Handles tests and chemical results and staff over them. Pharmacy Manger/Director- Handling of medicines and prescriptions usually have 10 staff members under them and assistant managers or crew leaders. That would be the main ones, depending on services, some can have heads of: neurology, ENT, Ordpedics, ect. Depends on the hospital and patient specialities and money.

But then who is her husband? A mobster? FBI Top 10 most wanted list. Guy who tried being a drug lord in a small town like the father in: My One and Only? Because then Jo getting married would not have been a problem, because the FBI would have destroyed those records of her being married at all. Then it would make the storyline make even less sense. Plus remember, her original reason was because Alex would either go out and kill her husband or try to get a divorce from him and "She couldn't let that happen." No matter how much you look at it, nothing makes sense as much as why Bailey is handling HR problems or why Owen had to cut expenses that would have been the CFO's job or why Richard created the Mercy West merger. Nothing has ever made sense in the Grey's word on how office and chain of command really works in a medical profession... at all.

Another problem is, they are trying to have this guy as someone she has been seeing on the side. Not some guy she knew for a while and has been hooking up because he was in town. It seems when it comes to Eve, they want her having these "best friends" or guys that she has apparently been hanging out regularly, but we see them in ONE EPISODE! It also causes a problem because Eve knew that Boyd wouldn't be around and Ryan and Kristin were out. But either way. Eve has become really aimless since the season began (she wasn't in the first episode due to filming a movie). However, the writers are doing the same they have been doing with Vanessa and Ryan the last few years. The writers either just drop stories or if they don't know where to go with them, they just drop it. Like with Vanessa now unemployed and Ryan still just wondering, and making half ass ideas, decisions or statements when he HASN'T done any of it! What could they do with Vanessa? Have her become a college professor or have her get a new energy job that doesn't make Ryan have to shout some general BS because he doesn't do his research. Or have Ryan where he get's a job or decides to finish up his degree in something, instead of letting Kristin just do things. Here is another thing, they want the timeline to be November and yet Jay Leno's character doesn't have a coat on? Even though these episodes were filmed a while ago, does the producers or costume department not go: "Oh wait it usually is cold in Colorado in late October or early November. In fact, they just had a lot of snow and cold weather. Not major snow fall, but it was still cold. I mean, this is like the family of 5 having just one large pizza instead of two or three because the prop department doesn't go: "Oh wait, they will most likely eat more than one slice each." Duh! To make my point again, they have stopped trying to have things make sense.

I think the problem is, Eve is really had her life go down over one thing not happening for her. Now, let's face it, we've all had dreams and when the bubble pops, we crash and burn. However, Eve has been: "Oh everything sucks since I didn't get into Westpoint." Instead of: "Well, I can still enlist, I could still fight for my country." "I could at least try community college." Instead she is just wondering and then Mike acts like it's the worst thing ever. I mean his thoughts on volunteering was way off base and at this point, I wish Vanessa would just take Eve and say: "Let's try to figure things out together." Since she is just sitting around since losing her teaching job and the fact she let Ryan convince her to quit her last job. Of course, have we seen Vanessa tearing into Ryan on that and him saying: "I'm sorry."? No.

Oh no. I agree, but all of this could have been handled if: Jo would have told the truth. DeLuca would have came clean or Alex would have went straight to jail for the attack and then the truth came out.
-
Even though Junior realized that everyone in the family has sleeping issues, but never has looked into why. Problem is, Junior when given enough evidence will ask some great questions, but his deduction methods are very, very sad.
-
The problem was, Deluca knew why Alex beat him, not that he didn't have grounds for the lawsuit, but he was like: "I got my ass kicked because Jo couldn't tell the truth." "But screw that, I'm going to sue you Alex, you dumbass!"

Yeah, Bailey and Catherine were so unprofessional and complete idiots. I mean the way Avery reacted made sense too and I love that he brought in everyone else and basically said: "You are basing this off a few, look at the rest." Because as we know as a teacher, not everyone students is perfect by the time they leave you. Plus, it's failings of those you did teach teaching those. Let's face it, even Christina was more focused on getting the surgeries than teaching others. It took her forever to do that and Meredith has had her constant: "Just do as I do." or same for Owen. Some of these doctors just don't get, you have to show how to do something. Not yell at them and expect them to do it right. yet, Catherine's POV is: "You didn't teach these people right and look what happened." Instead of: "Really, how many times has this happen as a result of teaching?" Bailey can teach, but she is just not good as admin. Even after all this time, she just doesn't get it, just like Owen. Something I really wish the writing team of Grey's would learn. Richard was not perfect at administration either, but he was believable, everyone else is like: "Damn, how do I do this?"

How Cam could have carelessly left his Fizbo costume by "junk" is beyond me. The Cam we have watched the last few years would have kept it under lock and key including: "DO NOT TOUCH UNDER PENALTY of DEATH!" Also, that cost a Hawaii trip? Not to mention, Cam thought he could hide that in the long run? Mitch keeps a close eye on the finances these days after his unemployement the last year. Really, Cam, hide it? Haily still can't buy a clue? Or a brain cell? She is always the victim.

No one tells him he sucks or they don't care. They just ignore it, hoping that Manny will put two and two together and stop.
-
A few times that Manny has brought up his plays, shows, ect and Cam either ignores him and pretends if he doesn't respond, Manny will stop talking about it.
-
There are a lot of loose ends and characters that have just been ignored. How about Carol and Chuck's son who was attracted to Eve? Remember Ed was going to marry Courtney, when has that ever been brought up again? Why have Ryan and Kristin not tried to have another kid again now that they are older and have money? Mike's dad's pot shop has been ignored for over a year. Hey remember, Vanessa had sisters, including one that was close to Mandy and Mandy even volunteered to carry a baby for her? What about Mike's awesome tank and car? Where are those?
-
Apparently Ryan doesn't. They introduced his father, completely retconned everything for him to die over the summer. We have never met his mom, who is alive, separated from his dad before his death and apparently wants Boyd around, but doesn't want to come to Colorado. Of course, if you were dumbass like Ryan, would you want to be his friend?

The problem is, Cam keeps expecting Mitch to change and vice versa. Cam thinks that eventually Mitch will love what he does, no matter how off the wall and at times, completely stupid it will be and Lily will follow suit. Mitch keeps believing that Cam will get over himself from Clown College to his theatre pieces that make things all about him. It also goes hand in hand with Manny, no one cares about his stuff anymore from his "old soul" to his "stupid panics". Even Gloria the last few years stopped treating Manny as "special". Yes, she still has episodes where she goes over protective, but it's as a mom, not as someone fed up with his antics. Something I think the writers have missed was just having Manny and Cam do their antics with each other, they are the most alike, have similar passions and so forth. However, they have showed it on several occasions, Cam hates Manny's stuff more than Mitch hates Cam's stuff. Which doesn't make sense, considering half the stuff Cam has pulled off the last few years. I know it's the writing, but at what point do Cam and Manny don't get it through their heads and just stop trying to pull their family into their antics when they clearly hate them, have told them in their face, shown their dislike for them and yet they keep trying? Eventually someone gets it in their head: "Maybe I should stop."

I've been wondering that for several episodes now. They keep referring to her and Chuck has been the "messenger" for her since the show began. I wonder if she is doing another project or movie similar to what Ryan did most of last season towards the end or Eve when the season started. Otherwise, I'm wondering if she was fired.

I could even see it going the other way and that's the last scene of the episode with Jo's confession. However, yes, they could have had Jo in place of Stephanie and brought up so much of her past right there. Then it would be fitting. -
Problem was with this episode, everything was just thrown out. Even though we got a lot of back story on Richard, Steph a long delayed flashback with Meredith. The showing up of Megan just reconfirms she is going to show up as soon as Riggs comes clean about him and Meredith. Also, so much retcon with Owen: "I don't upset." Oh bullshit, all he has been since day 1: "I can't marry a woman who wants kids." "I blame everyone else for things they didn't do ruining my life." "I can be an administrator, because it's too political." "Damn, I should have seen in a PTSD shrink since I left." "Why be honest, I just need to lose my mind in the middle of crisis." Oh shut up!

Even if it was Edward Hermann's personal chain, that just made no sense at all.
-
That is a favorite of mine as well. I see why they did with Geordi as dramatic. However, the way it was, the whole cause/effect and what really was going on was pretty cool from story to special effects. I still love the warp core breach and Picard drawing the smiling face on it. Because it went from such a series moment to a WTF to very scarey in less than 5 minutes.
-
I think with Gloria, she wanted a "house to myself" night/day. Where, no kids, no stupid teen drama, nothing with Jay doing something she just like or finds annoying and can just do her own thing. Basically an unplug, I got that, but it came out very weird when all was said and done.
-
The problem is, Cam still doesn't get it after all this time. Mitch hates these things and isn't going to change. I did like how Mitch got back at him. I'm fine with interactive stage, but I enjoy that stuff. My wife and my cousin, they hate it with a burning passion. I would never drag them to something like that.

The problem is, that Eve feels she doesn't see a point working when she doesn't care about the job and wants to do stuff she does care about. The problem is, that doesn't mean she can't do something part time that she does enjoy. Mike's problem is, he feels he has to have Eve wake up that she needs to get a real job and not be a "slug" who gets by like everyone else. Problem is, he gave Kris a job and her success is based on Mike helping her. Mandy has space, and money and time in the house and does a business. Hence, Mike doesn't have a big problem because she is earning money and making a career about it. However, at the same time, she's 18, why Mike has to feel that Eve needs to get it together now doesn't make sense. Or he could simply go: "You didn't get into Westpoint, but doesn't mean you have to have it dictate your life." Of course, the way it's written: Mike is just being an asshole and Eve doesn't want to admit: "Yes, you are right, my life isn't over, so I need to get over it."
-
Mike has really become an ignorant moron hasn't he? He was mad that Eve wanted to to do Habitat because it's doing her labor for free and she should be paid? How about giving people homes or helping those in need. I agree that Eve should find her own path, but it wasn't like she couldn't have enlisted. Mike acts like Eve is eating away at his money, when an 18 year old girl still living at home is such a horrible thing? Yet, he wants Boyd to go hunt at 10. Now, not a huge piece, but closer to age 12-13 would work. That was one of the few times that I was on Ryan's side. Mike has become such an asshole that if you don't see his few, screw you. His lessons and so half-assed now, he makes Jay from Modern Family look like father of the year. I'm sorry Tim Allen, but if you think this is how "men" should be now, it's not. So happy at least there wasn't a focus on the election as we know those episodes crash and burn.

There are problems left and right. I mean if they are going to go with DeLuca suddenly caring about Jo and everything about her "evil husband" is either dropped or has to be his problem. Then DeLuca has become a punching bag, first Alex for thinking Joe slept with him and then evil husband showing up and kicking DeLuca's ass because they are together. It then paints not only Jo as a moron, but also the fact she has by hiding her past lead one doctor to lose his mind, Catherine to think she can run the hospital better and Bailey and the Non-HR department to look like complete idiots who could have avoided this all at the same time. Leah's return, I mean if she ends up trying to ruin Arizona as payback then things have been made even worse by Catherine trying to over step her position and Bailey looking like a worst chief than Richard, Derek and Owen combine.
