  1. I really couldn't take Angela constantly saying: "You sound to chatty." I'm sorry, how do you prefer people? Say one sentence and then nothing? She was driving me crazy. Love the reveal on the bear custom guy.
  2. Right on both and it was also do to the Rock's popularity and UPN's Raw at the time. I remember years later the cast said it was a promo episode. Basically written around promotions for other shows.
  3. Completely agree, I completely believe that Chris could have been sole owner and CFO of his father's firm. Many believe that lawyers or senior partners run all the main operations of a firm big or small. Sadly, movies and TV get that wrong, last one that got it right was Boston Legal a few years ago. Showing their daily financial person, but that is besides the point. You make good points, Chris could get his own Starbucks in the office or have a mini kiosk that several firms, companies and even health care providers have. Doesn't have to be big and they pay a coffee lead a usual $12 an hour fee. Have them open a half an hour before business starts and close by 5. They would only make about 10K a year, but that be nothing compared to having Hayden money.
  4. Something was amazing was how much of Jadzir's background and family was talked about so much, but we never saw her mother and outside the woman who was Dax's host when they were married. We had so much done in just one episode with Ezrie's family. I get they had just a season to do all this character work with Dax, but outside of Jadzir's dating to marriage with Worf. I felt that they stalled her character development for almost two years. Something I think went on too long was Kai Winn's final end. I felt she did enough crap for almost two years and yet still remained in power. I know both Rick Berman and Michael Piller was trying to compare her as a politician that keeps doing stupid and illegal stuff and to the point the Pai Wraiths were opening their hands to her. However, I think it would have been more interesting if her story would have ended about two years earlier. Especially when Dominion was running DS9. Was her ending fitting? Sure, but I know several friends of mine who were big fans said: "That took too long to get there."
  5. Be a good idea to do it that way. Since season 1 started a year apart and a few months passed between them. It would make sense, especially with the cast as the old saying goes: "They aren't getting any younger." I just really, really hope we get some focus on Danny's second wife and meet DJ's former in-laws.
  6. Oh I know, I mean I worked with someone who had a baby daddy just like that, just they had a kid at 20 and not 15/16. However, he did just that, blew in always trying to be the hotshot guy that my co-worker fell for. However, when he got another girl pregnant after their kid turned 2. Who she didn't know about, she finally broke things off, but good for him. However, never once was he not spending time with their daughter and taking her to his parents house or anything. He just strung her along while having another girl on the side. Too bad it took until that to realize, he wasn't good for her. He was fine being a dad, but he did a Christopher and at times just wanted to sweep his daughter's mom up on her feet when her parents were saying: "He isn't worth it."
  7. Oh yes, the citizens of Stars Hollow were no prizes either. Many of them had their own selfish ambitions, wanted things done their way no matter how stupid, or at times, illegal. But everyone was to just shrug their shoulders and do it. I mean, hell even after finally meeting Mr. Kim, still proved that Mrs. Kim's whole: "Buy something or get out" attitude was along the lines of: "Tell your husband to stop being away all the time and get a life." Or how about the word or rifts or issues between people could be heard at the speed of light or no one ever told Kirk to be an adult and get a "real job" and stop using his mother as an excuse, even after he was married.
  8. Also agreed. The way the Haydens were talked about and depicted and they live in this? In this kind of neighborhood? Bullshit!
  9. Completely agree and it drives me crazy when people do that in real life too. "Oh, he's the baby daddy, give him some slack." Such crap! Just because a guy was the sperm donor doesn't mean they automatically get a pass. In the GG World, never did anyone outside of Luke or Rory actually call him on Chris's shit or how everyone gave him a pass when he really, he was a loser who fell up to success.

    S01.E04: Fall

I know, that scene was really just showing how much Chris is still a douche. "You were meant to be raised by your mother." Oh shut up asshole! Since day 1, it was always: "Poor Christopher, your life is so touch here have: (insert something here)" it was never about him, it was Lorelai's fault or Sherry's fault, or someone else instead of his own lack of birth control self. He was pretty much given everything, his inheritance, his awesome job, the ability to have someone snap his fingers and he was stuck back on Lorelai again. I got a much more bigger apologie from my own father who wasn't in my life much but was more for my two sisters and other brother more after he got remarried. Including a: "I should have done more for you, and I didn't and I focused on your siblings instead, that wasn't the way to do it." If they could have just written with Chris that not only did he screw up, but he focused on Lorelai instead of Rory or even GiGi and saying no one let him be wrong, then that would have worked much, much better. Of course since AS-P has such a hard on for David Suttcliff and only had one day of filming with him. This was the best should could do? Oh please.
  11. I agree, I mean we finally get Joey's wife and kids, but God forbid we get more insight on Danny's second wife. I mean, this was a guy who was widowed for years, almost got remarried and had that fall apart. Yet, he apparently met Eva's character a few years ago and has been married for a bit now. Wouldn't it be nice to see the girls' relationship with their stepmother? The grandkids? How about Jesse and Becky? Once more, we have the boys other grandparents mentioned both last season and this and yet we have never met them. I mean we saw Danny's and Jesse's parents more regularly than this and even Danny's sister. So, since season 3 looks like a sure thing, how about we actually get to know Eva Larue back and focus a few episodes on that or if they are going to move forward with DJ's relationships how about we see the reaction of her former in-laws?
  12. Actually, that isn't too off the wall. My 20th was this year and the way things were going it would have been a 20th after almost 21 years. Timing and set ups don't go easy these days. Sometimes the events are costing $60 per person and people of Gen X and before are going: "Why do I want to go? I don't talk to these people or I have facebook."
  13. That's how I get it. I mean I remember for a while after the series ended that Bob Saget said he was now being more of "himself" than Danny Tanner. Even when he appeared on America's Funniest Home Videos and even the episode of Quantum Leap he did. He was still being Danny Tanner and not Bob Saget. I remember watching him on Comic Relief and his stand up was different than I was used to. I remember seeing Dave Coulie on Even Stevens and Yes, Dear and he was kind of a toned down Joey in those. I guess it depends on things, especially when Coulie has been doing a lot of voice acting in the last 30 years and Bob Saget has done more voice over and game show hosting than being the neat freak, single dad. Plus, keep in mind, Danny as he said: "I turned 60 and I don't know how to be." Plus, he's remarried, even though they never really give us any insight on his new wife and his oldest daughter is a widow reliving his life in a way. You think at this point, Danny would either still be Danny or just come to a point where he just needs to be there for his daughter and grandkids and have some support from his 2nd wife.
  14. How true, I mean they could have also done it where Joey met his wife and got married a year or two after the series originally ended and then had kids who would be in high school/college by now. However, good point it was very similar to Alec Baldwin or Rod Steward who had kids at a much later age while their wives were much younger and in primate shape going: "Well, I'm not getting any younger and neither are you."
  15. That did bother me, they handled the abuse episode with Steph and Jesse very well back in the day, but I thought the bullying wasn't handled very well. Making it more: "Parents are just as helpless as the kids". Which is untrue, but it is true that many schools will have the administrators who either do nothing or go to the extreme with bullying. That makes a more interesting topics even over 20 years later.
  16. Yes, I remember that Jeff Franklin said that Joey was married with a family back in season 1, but they couldn't fit them in. I think the 4 kids was an idea when they got a 4th season. I mean a year apart from everyone and the oldest is 8. I mean, I get you aren't getty any younger, but yikes! I think my biggest issue this season was skipping over Danny's second wife again this season. I mean, the original series they decided to nix Danny remarrying because they thoughtit would ruin the concept of the show. Then when they were promoting the relaunch they had it where Danny had moved on with his life and had been remarried for a few years apparently. Now, we never see her, see the boys reaction to the only grandmother on their mother's side they have ever known or how everyone else has a relationship with her. Another thing, we have heard them mentioned since last season, but what about DJ's former in-laws? You think we could meet them at one point.
  17. I know. The episode now takes on more meaning and even considering that Candace knew him so well since she visited the set regularly of Growing Pains when Kirk was on the series. I remember she said that Alan was like the fun uncle in her life. This was probably very hard for her to watch now, not to mention Bob Saget was friends with him.

    S01.E04: Fall

Exactly! Especially when Mitchum apparently was doing stuff on the side and Shira knew and as Emily put it: "Why you keep losing and gaining weight constantly." or my favorite: "How you ever landed Mitchum Huntzberger and had two children with him, I'll never know!"
  19. Exactly! Even more, a Community College would also snatch up someone with Vanessa's credits, but the show wants us to believe that she barely knows how to tell up from down. Like I said, if they wouldn't have been so into Vanessa has to quit her job because Ryan had Boyd convinced that grandma's job was evil and destroying the planet. She would have been fine. She could have also taken a different job with energy companies, because trust me, there are a lot of research and development jobs in Colorado that pay pretty good. The entire: "She was the last teacher hired, so they had to cut her to make room for pay raises" was complete crap. Like I said, the school wouldn't just be: "Let Vanessa do her job and we'll still pay her for it. She would have gotten the notice right away from the school board or from the admin side of the school. This wasn't like she was working some fast food or coffee shop job. When teachers or admin are out, they are out. They get a small grace period to clean everything up, but they made it like until Carol (who can't be shown anymore) dropped the news to her, she could still be working at the school. That makes as much sense as where Ryan got his credits to homeschool Boyd. You can't just say: "I'm homeschooling my kid." You have to be recognized with the state and be assessed that he is receiving fair education than he would if he was in private or public school. Yet, this is sitcom land, logic doesn't need to apply.
  20. That's exactly it and yes, Eve had no plot at all. I think the actress was kind of like: "Least, I'm getting paid, but why am I here?" Also, the entire: "Mention twitter" reference was way too odd. Now, if Mandy would have said: "Just say you use Snapchat for education or Blab" at least that would have been up to date. However, even the Dean was way, way to young to be interviewing. He looked like he just go this master's degree. Also, I don't care how they try to wear it, Amanda Fuller's shave hair with long hair looks just so awful on her. What would possess her to get that kind of hair? Not to mention, why would the producers even let her get it?
  21. They really don't know what to do with Vanessa do they? Or they have to make it like someone like her couldn't find a good job again. I'm sorry, I know this is TV, but there is no way Vanessa couldn't get a job as a professor because she is "too old". That is age discrimination. She is in her early 50s. Not late 60s and looking something to do with her time. Things are worst, because the girls are all gone now. Just like how Kirstin talks about not needing to support a man in her life. That's all she is doing, Ryan is homeschool Boyd, but can't work on the side? She is making all the money for everyone and if Ryan's dad had so much money. Wouldn't Rya have gotten some type of inheritance? Or is her mother "we never see" take all the money in the divorce? Also, why do these people not have friends of their own? Oh wait, they do, they just appear when the plot needs it. There is talk this might be the last season as the cut in costs such as Carol (Chuck's wife) and less Boyd, no Bud and special appearances by Jay Leno. So, they have to have an excuse to just mention but never show anyone. Also, as an educator, I called the final tutoring scene BS. You can't just hand worksheets out to students and not show them anything. Common Core and the way districts try to make cuts, you better just be "teaching" or you are out of a job.
  22. That's what drove me crazy through the series and then why I was so happy when Emily called everyone on it in Fall. How the need for tradition and keeping the "rich" happy was not only outdated, but was dying out. I really would have loved an appearance of Shira with a reflection by Emily how women like her got in because they "changed" their ways but still were crap. Yes, some people get caught in this mindset that their children need to be taken care of, even after they are grown, their own children are grown and gone. Had a co-worker who is close to 60 and his wife's parents are still alive in their late 80s and they still are going: "Is he still going to have a job since he's a teacher?" I mean it just gets to a point, you need to think that your children can be fine without you.
  23. No problem. I was just bring up a point of how things have happened and how the show reflected that without going political. I will say something, seriously who is the hair dresser for this show? Where did they think that Amanda Fuller having shaved hair under long hair was attractive? Not to mention, in character for Kristin? That's a personal thought, but this type of Mike is fine when he raises points but doesn't go: "It's the democrats fault" they had him spilling out just so he and Ryan can have an argument. However, Ryan makes his own laundry detergent that is made from vinegar. I'm sorry, doesn't he know that works better for dishes than clothes?

That was the problem. Him getting married and a man wanting children or even "had" children could have prompt Michel to be: "Well, I'm not getting any younger and not like I down right hate kids!" Much like with Kirk and Lulu now thinking of having kids? I mean they've been together close to nine years. The subject never came up? I think it would have worked better if they had at least one kid and Kirk wasn't sure and explains if he could have a kid and a pet pig. He might be able to pull off having kid number two when he is in his early 40s and Lulu is younger and could be their last chance. Something besides finances in AS-P's world. How people had, or didn't have kids never made sense in a lot of ways. I mean least with Lane and Zach the twins were not planned, and after everything, they kept it that way. However, we never got enough insights in that outside of while Zach has all his hair, he still doesn't know how to dress or shave. The twins were props or slaves to Lorelei and Rory and Gill was dressing for rehearsal the way he was for gigs. Especially when he never did that before, when we saw Gill he was very standard wear except for concerts. He said it best: "I have a business to run and a family to raise." "Have to look some what casual." I mean Dean can have ended up married a second time, two kids another on the way and very happy where he is in life and has moved on. Rory saw would could have been if she wouldn't have been so selfish or stupid. Yet, Jess is still doing his indie press and basically teaching Luke more about life. What about his half sister? How about the fact that April and Rory seemed like they had a relationship in Summer but then it never gets brought up or anything? Why didn't Lorelei just slowly start getting into the times with the Dragon Fly and started expanding slowly? Logic never applies in Gilmore Girls or the creators feel we need more of David Sutffcliff, Taylor, 45 minute musicals or Sutton Burton instead of actual characters and stories the audience cares about.
  25. That's always been Daniel's problem. He takes things to a much larger extreme than Amy. He has his good points, but he also brought some things back into the open that people hated to begin with. Like the Diner Chain with Luke or Luke's: "April is mine!" Plus, Taylor's ideas to a larger extreme than in winter or barely anything at all in Fall. Really, the musical is the biggest pointless and biggest time waster of the entire revival. The last scene made sense, but if they would have cut it to where you see them writing it and then the numbers and not on and on and on. It would have been fine. However, they could have spent more time with April and more with Kirk and Lulu's trying to have kids situation. Also, we got dumb Zach with that aweful beard. I mean really? Other wise my order is: Fall Winter Spring Summer.
