  1. "Recently arrested." Heh. A type indeed. Though, yikes, she looks almost as frail as he does.
  2. Thank goodness Roy got the manager job and not Nate. It was bad enough that Nate only apologized to Ted about the sign (which the entire team already forgave without an apology), and not for leaking the panic attacks to the press and his subsequent public mocking any chance he got. And Nate never did find out the truth about the photograph. But whatever. The writers say he is fully redeemed, so that’s that. Shame on me for not getting on board an month ago. At least Dani finally apologized to Van Damme Zorro, instead of continuing to grin and pretend nothing ever happened. But apparently the old mask had better mojo. Well we got a throuple in the end, just not the one some were hoping for, lol. That was so very very dumb of Roy and Jamie. “Oh, you mean I get to decide who to be with?” They deserved the door slammed in their face. But at least Roy’s finally getting into therapy (with Dr. Sharon, back at Richmond!) so there’s still hope for the Roy/Keeley fans. Even though it was telegraphed a mile away once we saw the return of his boyfriend picking up tickets, I’m glad Colin got his kiss. So much for the human side of Rupert that was teased a couple weeks ago. Basically trying to put a hit out on a player, assaulting your new coach, sporting an evil cape/coat. Not sure I buy that the relationship scandal would do him in at West Ham, but he sure did dig his own grave. Not sure why Apple+ had been so coy about whether this was indeed a series finale. Everyone besides Ted staying put at AFC Richmond with a happy ending seems to confirm this being it for the show, as opposed to continuing the show slightly retooled. If they do decide on a spinoff, it’d probably be centered around the new AFC RIchmond Women’s Team.
  3. Yeah I'm a bit bothered that Dani sees nothing wrong with what he did. But with the exception of Jamie, Sam, Colin, and maybe Isaac, the teammates are 2-dimensional caricatures, so it doesn't surprise me. We were supposed to laugh that Dani's golden retriever persona was briefly infected by rabies and then acted like nothing ever happened, and chuckle that Van Damme is still traumatized weeks later (though luckily it hasn't affected his gameplay). Maybe next week they'll surprise me, but aside from the four I mentioned everyone else is just comic relief so I doubt it. The more I think about Colin and Isaac being the ones to join Will in asking Nate back to the team (without any approval from the coaches or owner so apparently Isaac gets a lot of power as the captain?) the more I get annoyed. It seems like it was intentionally those two to remind us that they were the ones bullying Nate in the beginning. That Nate doesn't owe them an apology, it's the other way around. Like the writers were hitting me upside the head saying "so what if Nate gave a confidence-crippling speech to Colin? What Colin did to him was sooo much worse! Nate doesn't owe him shit!" Also is Nate ever going to find out what Ted did with the photo? That not only was he an asshole, but he was a paranoid delusional asshole who went scorched earth for no reason whatsoever?
  4. Colin, Beard, and the entire team forgives Nate despite never getting any sort of apology so apparently that makes me the asshole for not wanting an instant second chance, but wanting to see some penance and an actual redemption arc rather than being told how I should feel. But I will give Nate credit for not being at all upset at Jade for getting him fired. Ted’s mom loves tea, which is probably why Ted hates it. Did we know that already? Roy and Keeley were trying to just be friends? I didn’t get that impression at all from last week’s episode. For a minute I thought they might actually be going there with a throuple endgame. I was amused by Roy’s expression looking at Jamie and his mom, like he was thinking “what the Oedipus is going on here?”
  5. I’m going to assume Jakob isn’t dead, since it’s becoming clear that Dom’s family barbecues are laced with an immortality potion. Should’ve seen the latest resurrection coming when they spent time talking about Han’s love life. There was some painful dialogue in that scene where we’re introduced to Alan Ritchson and Brie Larson. And Ritchson’s double agent reveal was pretty cheesy with the looking directly to the audience. i could see why they’re considering making this a trilogy. If they go that route I think the next one may be a defacto Hobbes and Shaw sequel with the Family taking a back seat. Not convinced Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson will share scenes, or if they ever do it’ll be with green screens and body doubles a la The Good Wife.
  6. This week on “Nate Shelley”… 40 minutes of Nate and others moping followed by 2-minute magical conversations that cure their funk! Poor Dr. Sharon might be out of a job soon. Unless explicitly shown otherwise, I’m going to believe that Nate was fired and was lying to Jade about leaving on his own terms. That seemed more than “I quit my dream job because my boss is an ass who tried to get me to cheat on my girlfriend” level depression. I wonder who was that guy with the mustache at the very end of the episode that Rebecca spit tea on. Looked vaguely familiar but couldn’t quite place him… 🤡
  7. Are we sure she's not just an AI rendering of an Orange County housewife?
  8. Agree. We're supposed to think Nate is cured of his assholishness now, but I'm not buying it. I still need him to atone for his treatment of Will, Colin and others, and to find out the picture he was bitching about is lovingly displayed in Ted's room, and that all of his projections on Ted were complete BS and that he went scorched earth on Richmond for no reason. Instead of the show acting like Nate's only "sin" was going to work for the enemy. The writers obviously were caught offguard by much of the audience's reaction to Nate, but they're redeeming him in such an unsatisfying way. I honestly couldn't give less of a shit about him and Jade, yet they've been the B storyline for two weeks in a row. Jamie appeared to have spotted something very interesting on Will's phone. Wonder if it was the Amsterdam couple, or if that incident was just the tip of the iceberg for Will Kitman.
  9. So I guess we're taking the "pretend Nate's heel turn never happened" approach? Will he at least ever find out the truth about the photo being in Ted's room and realize that Ted isn't some devious schemer who's been setting Nate up for a fall all along? Or did they fast-forward the redemption to squeeze in more time for everyone's love lives?
  10. Is Cancer Scammer's return supposed to entice me to watch? And is she going to threaten Bravo with another lawsuit under a psuedonym if they don't include her in the reunion toast this year? Looks like Taylor's public attempt to snatch Gina's orange didn't work. Guess she doesn't have the same clout with producers that her old BFF Kyle has on BH. That or, to quote her friend, she's "such a fucking liar."
  11. Not sure how serious they are (he had no issue pretending to be Colin's straight wingman) but I didn't necessarily think Colin was looking for a hookup. I just figured he felt like being in a place where he could feel totally free to be himself around, as opposed to either watch strangers have sex or bus two hours away to a Martin Garrix party. Now had he suspected it'd devolve into a giant pillow fight instead he may have stuck it out 😄 Hopefully Colin gets that big win and opportunity to kiss his fella, whoever he may be. The museum guide enthusiastically sharing about Van Gogh to an apparent admirer of his work, only to be told by Ted that he was just checking out Kansas' state flower. "We're closing in ten minutes... *walks away*" HA.
  12. Sounds like Tamra comes in guns blazing. Not surprising. The interesting bits are that Cancer Scammer got enough screentime to merit several confessionals (I fully expect an orange for her next season unless Tamra's return is a total flop). And that Taylor only filmed at the big group events which would seem to contradict her claim that she's been promoted at the expense of Gina. https://pagesix.com/2023/04/17/tamra-judge-goes-nuclear-on-heather-dubrow-in-nasty-rhoc-return/
  13. That was kind of shitty of Mark to say he was going to ask his competing company to start doing stones now as well.
  14. When Michelle didn't say anything during Ted's unloading, I was worried that the screen had frozen and he'd been talking to himself the whole time. It'd be nice for her to acknowledge that it's pretty fucked up to be in a relationship with their couples therapist, but for some reason the characters seem to be mostly acting as if Jacob had been a close mutual friend of theirs. I couldn't tell if the look on her face at the end was guilt, or relief at Ted finally getting his feelings out. Seems as though Nate will be getting a redemption arc after all. Meh. It's nice that he apparently feels a little remorseful about how he's handled things, but I'd prefer to see him hit rock bottom first, and not just have to endure Rupert dropping the nice guy facade. But at least he didn't exhibit any incel behavior towards the hostess. Keeley's story arc this season is reminding me of those dreams I occasionally get where I'm suddenly back in school out of the blue and realize I have final exams that day even though I haven't been to a single class and don't even know what the subject is or where to find the classroom. Like she just woke up as CEO one day totally unprepared and now is 100% winging it. At least she had enough common sense that the app wouldn't want its tagline to be along the lines of "maybe you'll get to fuck a celebrity!" Since shadowing the team, Trent is getting more drama than he probably anticipated, and he loves it.

Didn’t like the look on Trent’s face at the end there, but I figured Colin’s secret wouldn’t last long in any case. I wonder if his boyfriend is in the closet as well, he seemed to have no problem at all pretending to be his wingman. DID like Jamie correcting Beard that he was being hypocritical, not ironic. Between that and correctly schooling Roy that women like Tina Turner and Stevie Nicks were working their asses off way pre-Madonna, Jamie’s gained a lot of intelligence lately. Keep it up! But fix your damn hair! Dani mimicking Zava entering the locker room is a troubling sign. But hopefully Zava gratefully accepted his friendship bracelet. Dani must be protected at all costs. My only qualm with this episode was too much Nate 😉. Well, that and the possible hint of a Rebecca/Sam/chef love triangle.
  16. Just waiting for the what seems inevitable Mark Ruffalo announcement. Might as well throw in She-Hulk and Skaar too. Sure does feel like Marvel Studios doesn't care for Captain America stories much. Using the third movie to do an Avengers film, now using the fourth to do an Incredible Hulk sequel to skirt around the Universal rights, I'm assuming? Seems to be a lot to tackle for one movie:

    Disney Films

The vault's emptying quickly. There's still Hunchback and the CGI Robin Hood in development too, right? That just leaves what, Rescuers, Fox and the Hound, maybe Oliver and Company? Maybe they'll try to redeem some box office disappointments like Atlantis, Home on the Range or Treasure Planet, or is Disney pretending like that era never happened? Otherwise they're burning through movies to remake so quickly that they may have to do Tangled or Princess and the Frog sooner than they'd have liked to.
  18. I don't have audio on this computer so can't hear the video, but I do remember seeing an article over the weekend with the rumor of Denise's return. Not sure if this is leading to speculation that diamonds or friend of status are coming their way but I highly doubt that'd be the case for any of them. Though I wouldn't necessarily mind Camille resuming her war against the shady Kemsleys -- I'm sure she's had some opinions on the break-in and polite returning of Dorit's phone, lol. I think if anything, it'll just be a guest appearance at Kyle's annual big dinner party for a kiss-kiss and "HI Gorgeous!" like we've seen with Kim, Eileen, and Teddi on occasion. But IMO if Kim's popping up more frequently than the past couple of years then that could be a sign that Kathy's not returning this season.
  19. I had no idea Rachel Zegler's character was supposed to be a secret. She was in all of the trailers alongside Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu so the "oh crap, there's three of them" reveal really fell flat. I didn't seem to notice it as much with the first movie (though I'm sure it was there), but there was such a disconnect between kid Billy and superhero adult Billy. Zachary Levi is constantly giving over the top comedic facial expressions and Asher Angel looked deadpan serious most of the time, they don't feel like the same character at all, unlike the rest of the family and their superhero counterparts. For example, I can't picture teen Billy sitting in a pediatrician's office rambling as if to a therapist. I nearly rolled my eyes at the Skittles commercial when the unicorn emerged, but it was saved by someone in my theater saying way too loud "what the fuck?" at the Taste the Rainbow™ line, and by Darla yelling out "taste the rainbow motherf--" later on. Minor qualms aside, it was still an enjoyable movie. Shame there's a 99% chance it'll all be wiped out now once
  20. EEAAO was a male role away from sweeping the acting awards tonight.
