I was like Will made a new friend and might even have a non-Em story, so of course he is shady. I thought the same thing. I do not care how closed off one is, I still think there would be mentions of family or one of them asking questions about their respected families. I would assume in three years of dating/living together Em might ask will about his mother. I guess not. When Em and Will almost kissed I was like no, not this again. Make it stop! I was so glad it did. I did not want to get on that hamster wheel again. After the mourning Zion story it's like lather, rinse, repeat with Sonny's storylines. His daughter will act out, something happens, then they are back on good terms again. It's tired.

I plan to do a rewatch when the season is over and pay more attention to Langdon. I like that for the most part the signs that people/social media has pointed were subtle. There is a lot going on in this show so it is easy to miss.

I know it is unpopular but it is just my opinion. I realize I’m probably the only one here that has that opinion. I think if a more likable character, like Mel threatened the life of a possible pedo people would be cheering her on. This show has been about bias from the start. That is why I think this storyline was well written. I think the lazy way out would be writing the likable character in the right and the unlikable in the wrong. I am assuming that there might be some background on how and why Santos figured out that Langdon was using in the following episodes.

This. One thing this show has been focused on is bias. The audience got a taste of that when the unlikeable woman was the whistleblower. It happens a lot in real life too, people not believing those that they do not like. I am one of the very few that likes all the characters on this show, including Santos. I did like this turn of events and agree that it isn't lazy writing or Mary Sueing in fact it's the opposite. Just because the audience does not like the turn of events does not make it lazy writing either. It's often someone who is likable and charming that would be able to hide that they had issue. I think there were some red flags there that people may have dismissed because he was likable. The buying a puppy on a whim and also, there was a phone call with his wife where he was begging to talk to his kid. I thought then that they may have been separated. I have seen some social media that have been going back and pointing out some signs of something being amiss. In an earlier episode where the alcohol withdrawal patient came back still withdrawing pointing out that he never got the Ativan and did not know where is pills were. He was still detoxing and probably genuinely did not know where his pills were. Also, when Collins told Langdon he was an adrenaline junkie and his reaction to it. Him being fidgety during the moment of silence for the patient that died in one of the first episodes too. It also brings the discussion of functional addicts in health care up, because that happens a fair amount also. I do not think Santos is a bully. I think she is cocky and arrogant, but not a bully. I often think the word bully is thrown out way too much, along with narcissist. I find her to be a interesting character. Like I said before I enjoy watching all the characters in the show.

This episode was so incredibly stupid. This. When they finally decided to talk I was hoping they were going to put this relationship to bed, because I'm so sick of this story. I am liking Will less and less as this show goes on. Maybe if he could get a storyline that did not have to be a plot point for him and Em. Seriously, the firefighter story that lasted like a minute, was basically to make Julie seem unreasonable because she did not want him working with Em. She was not wrong with that worry though. He started a surf school that was a plot point for Em to help out one day. I am not sure if the surf school was even mentioned again after that episode. Then he cheats on his fiancé with Em, while he waffles back and forth on who to be with. Now that he and Em broke up again his storyline is the new guy is interested in Em, so they are going to go all Mojo Dojo Casa House on each other. I liked the new guy because he antagonized Will. The whole fighting in the bathroom was juvenile and gross. I was hoping they would hook up in the bathroom, because that may be the only way to get Will his own storyline. This. Is this show written by AI?

S14.E13: Caviar Catastrophe
Misslindsey replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I wonder if Kyle and Dorit were closer when they were in better places in each of their marriages, because it still seems like Mauricio and PK are still friends. I do not follow any of their social media, but I imagine they would do couples things together. As for Sutton's wallet comment, I admit that I kind of loved her throwing it at Dorit, but then again I have never been a Dorit fan. -

S14.E12: Land of the Free, Home of the Shade
Misslindsey replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Sutton lasted longer at Dorit's party than I would have. After that awkward purse bit I would have been inching toward the door. Though Kyle's reaction to Dorit demanding Sutton's purse made me laugh. I interpreted Garcelle's comment about alcohol in Sutton's drink as more of a confirmation that there was alcohol in the drink, because she wanted an alcoholic drink. That is how I took it. It did not feel shady to me. I think I might like Boz better if she was out of Dorit's orbit for awhile. I had high hopes for her when she was announced, but between her being all in on Dorit from the start and the baby storyline she has been disappointing to me.- 193 replies

My very unpopular opinion is I like Santos on The Pitt. I actually, like all the characters. I may not like everything they do or say, but still enjoy watching them all.

I have finally started watching this show. I saw Isa Briones in Hadestown on Broadway about a year or so ago. She is definitely one of my favorites to play Eurydice. Her dad played Hermes and was fantastic too.

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards (2025)
Misslindsey replied to BetterButter's topic in The Grammy Awards
It's about time Beyonce won Album of the Year. I really enjoyed Cowboy Carter and I am not a fan of country music. At least not mainstream country music. I always feel like I learn when I listen to many of Beyonce's albums. Some of the musicians that she highlighted on her album like Tanner Addell, Reyna Roberts and others I have been listening to. I am pleased with Kendrick Lamar's wins in the Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories as well. I really would have been pleased with any of the winners in those categories beside Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift. -

I’m underwhelmed by The Weekend. I don’t mind that the music outweighs the awards since there are a lot of multiple winners. I do wish they would highlight some of the other genres for awards. -

I love Chappell Roan and I am happy she sang Pink Pony Club. I hope she wins something but it looks like Sabrina Carpenter has it wrapped up. I’m not a fan of Sabrina. I loved Beyoncé winning best country album. I really love how she highlighted other WoC on her album. Benson Boone had a good performance as well. -
S5.E17: Reunion, Part 1
Misslindsey replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City
I agree with your post. I thought maybe Bronwyn told the boyfriend and he did not tell his parents, but told Bronwyn that he did. Another possibility, besides what you stated in your post is he told his parents that Bronwyn had a miscarriage when she obviously did not, but as a way to wipe his hands clean of the whole situation. Basically, I think that the boyfriend could have told some lies to his parents to remain in their favor or in favor of the church. I cannot stand Lisa. She is so insufferable. -
I don't think Will and Em have any chemistry. I rolled my eyes in the pilot thinking of course the two blondes had a previous relationship and still had feelings for each other. I find them dull together. I might find Will more interesting if any of his storylines were not about Em. He had the firefighter story, that was brief and mostly happened off screen, which was basically a plot point because his fiancé did not want him working with Em. He started a surf school in two seconds, but that seemed like a plot point for him to work with Em for the day. Most of the time he just stares forlornly at Em. Oh and of course his fiancé is unreasonable. I believe there was an earlier episode, maybe the one where Em had they day off, where Laka was made second in command for the day over Will. He seemed fine then. Sonny has gotten better, but we all know he isn't going to retire. It's just a matter of what circumstances keep him around. Other than that I find Laka, Hina, and Kainalu the most interesting. Em and Will would be better for me if they dropped the romance angle. I also, would like it more if they mixed up the characters in the storylines more, just to see different interactions between characters.

S14.E6: Venom in the Viper Room

It would be nice to have a season when Sutton isn't being dumped on by half the cast. I get she's probably an easy target, but it is the same shit, different season. Can we have more seasons where people gang up on Kyle, Erica, or Dorit?- 136 replies

Seeing what Glenn is up to when the crew is away is probably my favorite part of this show. His reaction to the Telenovela made me laugh.

Maddie was on a podcast almost a year ago and she said that if people do not make an effort to be in her children's lives she isn't going to force them. She said her mother, Christine, and siblings make an effort. I cannot remember if she was answering a question directly about Kody or not. If it wasn't it was definitely implied. She did say that her kids do not know Kody or recognize him. She also, said if people do not treat her kids or husband well she has no problem cutting them out of her life.

This. I am a horrible person because it made me laugh.

I thought I was the only one that disliked Bejing '08 Opening Ceremony. Honestly London 2012 is probably my favorite. I too, liked that Paris tried to do something different. There were parts I enjoyed and parts that were underwhelming, but that is pretty much what I think of most of the opening ceremonies. I tend to prefer the closing ceremonies over the opening ones.

S14.E07: Gifts & Receipts
Misslindsey replied to snarts's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I have always thought that Joe Gorga and Teresa have very similar personalities. They both have had some very reactive moments. My problem with it is that there is a bit of a double standard. If Joe does it, usually Marge and co. are okay with it. I think they justify it with the Teresa is so mean argument, when Teresa does it she is the worst. They both should be called out on their tempers, but usually only one is. If Teresa is still in therapy or is trying to be less reactive, good for her. I dislike Joe Gorga so much. His speech was so ridiculous. Marge and some of the others have very little to offer as a storyline if they are not talking about Teresa. If they want her off the show they need way more interesting storylines to offer up.
