Kenya has said that Marc is holding up the divorce because Kenya refused to have Brooklyn appear on Marc's reality show. He is pissed and trying to get back at her. Hence him bringing up Marlo banging on the door in Birmingham. He is trying to paint her as unfit so he gains more control regarding custody. Not that he actually wants to see Brooklyn but wants more control in decision making. Specifically decisions that benefit him.

Alex and Brady work together. Alex is Brady's number two at Basic Black. That and they seem like the only two of that generation of the Kiriakis that get along.

Theresa and Stefanie grew up together in LA, or at least for several years. They were referencing that part of their youth.

Judy prefers playing Bonnie, but I don't think she had a say in Adrienne's demise. Also Bonnie has been around for 20yrs now. They need to expand her to more than Justin's wife. No, John is still Forrest Alamain, that is and has been the only consistent part of his history. Philomena and Leopold adopting him is canon. The only thing they keep changing are his biological parents. Honestly, years ago they had the perfect solution to John's history when they made him Daphne Dimera's son. It explained Stefano hating him, how he got adopted by the Alamains (Philomina and Daphne are sisters). Being sent to the assassin school, etc. I'm a die hard Chelsea fan, and completely miss her as a character. I know people hate her because she killed Zach 16yrs ago but I'm over it. I actually loved the fact that she named her son Isaac. I saw it as a tribute to both Zach and Abe and Lexie. Chelsea was very close to them as Theo's behavioral therapist.

I think the poster was referring to when she landed in Salem and kept quiet. In the midst of her being rescued no one blames her for getting her freedom, but intentionally keeping it a secret that Chloe was there as well is pretty evil. Although Theresa was always a little insecure about Chloe even though Brady and Chloe weren't interested in each other then.

Not sure why it's an "either or" Rachel Melvin has nothing to do with whether or not Patsey was asked back. That's directed at Twitter. The news about Patsey makes sense. I think that was either a writing flub or Dan F read the line wrong. In either Tuesday or today's episode they had Nicole clear it up. When speaking with Johnny she tells him they wanted Sydney to be their witness, acknowledging she is an adult currently. But yes Sydney is only 2 1/2 yrs younger than the twins so 22-23 is about right.

When Talia Hunter (Jada's sister) poisoned the biscuits at Chanel's bakery, Nicole and Eric were drugged and ended up high and slept together. Nicole later found out she was pregnant, meaning it was either Eric or EJ as the father. She was far enough along to do a DNA test. Neither guy knew about the pregnancy, which means she had to get a DNA swab from each. Sloan found out and volunteered to swab Eric's cheek while he was sleep. EJ went out of town when Nicole was planning on swabbing him behind his back. Long story short, Sloan swabbed her own cheek, pretended the sample was Eric's. Eric and EJ find out Nicole is pregnant, they test the fake Eric swab and conclude EJ is the father because of course Eric's "swab" doesn't match. The specialist handling Nicole’s pregnancy wants to do genetic testing, so of course she needs a swab sample from EJ. Sloan finds out about the genetic testing, panics and steals the results. Todays episode we find out that EJ is not a match for the baby, meaning the father is Eric. The question is will Sloan continue to scheme to keep the truth from coming out. Lol, Li's date was Connie. She was on the show a couple of months ago. She was a client of Sloane’s. Cute they brought her back to be Li's date.

I just assume she will be brought back at some point.

Lol, Rachel's grandmothers are Isabella and her namesake Rachel Blake. That child is 100% Kristen. Post breakdown Kristen to be exact.

I don't think that was even pondered considering the set up. This was always about the inheritance. Which is why a lot of us were clued into him being gay, it was his aversion to marrying a woman for money. Which BTW is the least offensive and criminal thing he has done. Outside of Dimitri, I agree with you that those principals are never explored for soap characters unfortunately.

Well, to be fair the selling point was that by helping them it would result in Megan going to prison.

They write the scripts six weeks before filming. So the storylines are set 8 months ahead. I'm sure they are looking if they haven't already on where they can plug in Victor's death storyline and give it the attention and space it deserves. They already had to change Bo and Hope's storyline from what it was. John Aniston was supposed to play a big part in the Greece plot. I know with Days shooting schedule it is hard to adjust or plug things in, but at the same token it benefits us the viewer during times like the pandemic as well as the current writer's strike. Days is the only soap that continues to air episodes without pre-emption, and will mostly outlast the strike which is believed to go to the fall. I wouldn't be surprised if Victor's death is explored during either November Sweeps or the beginning of next year.

I actually think Dimitri is gay, that is why he has so much resistance to marrying a woman. I think he will feel bad for Gwen as he sees her feelings develop stronger.
