  1. I liked the idea of Puck and Quinn giving a relationship a chance, I'm not sure it would work, but they were only ever shown in love with each other but high school wasn't their time. I like the idea of them being happy in between some spectacular fights!
  2. It's saying something that I really don't want to see my favourite characters back next season. I hope they leave Tina, Quinn, Mike, Puck, and the newbies off screen and happy. I'd like Kurt and Artie to join them, and I'm not sure I want Santana back. How bad is a show when your glad your favourites are gone and don't want them back?
  3. I like the girls in 'North Mammon', the actresses were great and the story left me wondering what happened to them. The killer kid and the little girl who got away from him in 'The Boogeyman were both excellent.
  4. My problem with Sam picking up Finn's mantle is that would require Sam going to college and becoming a teacher. Frankly I find Sam graduating bordering on the probable him going to college would be completely fuckin ludicrous, even by this shows standards.
  5. This. I may still want Kurt to succeed, and possibly Mercedes and Artie at a push. But Rachel, Blam and Sue if she's around to fail miserably at everything they do. I want Rachel's TV pilot to bomb, Kurt to dump Blaine and for Blaine to fail miserably at NYADA, and Sam to become a complete Lima loser. I do want happy endings, but they're for characters who are gone now, so in my head they will happen.
  6. Well that was awful. I liked the Klaine make up scene when Blaine said he was the luckiest guy alive and Kurt replied 'pretty much.' And American Boy was good. Sam's back at McKinley as what? He barely graduated. I hope Rachel's blackballed so thoroughly she can never work on Broadway again. Samcedes split up again. *falls asleep through boredom* I did like Brittany dancing during Shakin My Head, the show has missed this.
  7. I don't think anything bugged me more in season 3 than the idea that Kurt couldn't pull off a romantic lead. I didn't buy it for a second. Mind you I never bought that Kurt it a stereotypical gay while Blaine is 'straight acting'. Blaine acts about as straight as Jack from Will & Grace.
  8. I just think Glee not being on the face of it about a bunch of struggling losers is a bit like Breaking Bad not being about drug dealers, or Buffy not being a Vampire Slayer.
  9. No, but the show was originally about losers who even when they had it good had to struggled, now they all have it easy and it's dull. I'd like to see For the first couple of seasons they struggled for everything and when they got one step forward often it was followed by two steps back. And mostly I cheered them on the whole way. I'm not a Rachel fan, but when she pulled off 'Don't Rain on my Parade' at the last minute I loved it (I love that performance too), same with the original songs at regionals (Nationals not so much). For the passed three seasons everyone got what they wanted, they maybe got the occasional knock back but mostly they all got what they wanted. I'd love to see what the graduates had done had their parents said 'get a job, get a proper college degree or you're on your own' it wouldn't be realistic for Rachel or Kurt but perfectly plausible for Mike, Mercedes or Blaine. Everyone around them seems to exist to facilitate their dreams (parents, teachers, colleges etc), not only is life not like that, good writing isn't like that. Characters have to overcome obstacles and these characters don't.
  10. I thought Finn was what you would call middle class, (I'm a Brit I'd call it working class). I thought both Puck and Jake were suppose to be poor. Puck worked his way right through high school and Jake got free school meals. Also given Puck's Dad was trying to borrow money off his son I'm guessing he didn't cough up much child support.
  11. He could be used the way Matt Morrison or Jane Lynch have been used in the past few seasons. I hope not, the show really would be unwatchable.
  12. Part of it is that show don't want to be held back by the characters finances, and this show wants the characters who can give them the maximum number of opportunities to perform. Using characters who will need/get proper jobs like Puck or actually study in college like Quinn won't work. Although I'm still annoyed both Puck and Quinn are gone. One thing I just noticed, in the beginning a big deal was made about getting out of Lima, like hardly anyone did. Except every single member of New Directions that graduated left Lima, even the ones of screen are at college, or in the air force, no-one had to get a crap job, no-one missed out on college who wanted to go. SO was it really that hard to get out of Lima in the first place?
  13. There is absolutely no jeopardy to what they do. If they fail Daddy can come in and rescue them. I cared about these characters at the start because even the popular and beautiful seemed to get sh*t on and I could root for them, even the ones I didn't like. Any characters I could root for are a dim and distant memory on this show. For those who like British TV, it's like making Del Boy and Rodney millionaires (which they did and they show was never as good).
  14. Really? Cos season 4 and 5 felt like 'The Rachel Berry Show' maybe her time on screen feels longer to me because it irritates so much. But since McKinley is gone it is 'The Rachel Berry Show' everyone is there to serve her storylines, or to provide the 'b' storyline to her 'a' storyline in any ep. I've no doubt that is exactly what season 6 will be.
  15. Damn I thought that was Puck there for a minute. Knew that was too good to be true.
  16. I might've for the Rev. Beefcake!
  17. I was just thinking the same thing. I don't understand why they didn't have Funny Girl open around the time of the Katy/Gaga ep. Being bored of it by know might actually come over as a decent plot point. Though granted, these writers haven't met a decent plot point they like since about halfway through season 3.
  18. I would've thought performing the same show night after night was what she dreamed of. This was a kid who knew exactly what the theatre world entailed. (unlike the writers of Glee).
  19. I think he's kinda spoilt, but maybe not a brat. I think only him and Mercedes are redeemable now. I remember being horrified at seeing the kids being slushied in the early eps. I long for someone to do that now, anything to bring them back to reality.
  20. Nobody mentioned Jesse from Diagnosis Murder was the killer! I never saw that one coming. Loved the sub-plot with Abby, she could've just gone to the FBI but she left the decision in the girl's own hands. I hope the guy who called Gibbs a 'dumb jarhead' gets his comeuppance.
  21. No, carry on, please. I liked the newbies, especially Jake and Kitty, but the material they had to worked with sucked big time. The fact they stood out as performers is a credit to how good they are. I really miss the story of the underdog, I'm rewatching the first couple of seasons now and while the writing has always had issues these characters really resonated. They were all underdogs for one reason or another, even if it didn't look like that to outsiders. The newbies never got that initial characterisation and now those underdogs who are left are a bunch of spoilt brats.
  22. Yeah what dumbass in the DA's office still has their job after appointing Erin to that investigation. Nevermind Frank is Police Commisioner, it was in Jamie's precinct which would be much more of a conflict.
  23. Been watching some early Glee episodes and been remind why this show was so good. But the performance and vocal that stands head and shoulders above others for me is 'True Colours' Jenna's voice is just gorgeous on it.
  24. That really bugged me. The show seem to treat Hetty as some god like figure who can use people as she sees fit. I really would not be sad to see her go.
