  1. The baby has to be rapid growing because if it wasn't, it wouldn't be born until season 39.
  2. Big Jim's head sticking out of the cent shaft was my laugh out loud moment of the season. Is that how vents work? Are they big enough for people to stand in and peep out of? I'm totally stoked that The Great Love of Our Time saved Barbie. I'm always rooting for those crazy kids! Dumbest move of the episode is a tie between Julia leaving Barbie alone (duh, he'll escape) and Norrie and Jie assuming Sam is on the up and up. These people just can't see one move ahead. I hope the rapid growing alien human baby in this show meets up with the rapid growing alien human baby on Extant, and they make a double alien hybrid human super baby together. You can never have enough rapid growing alien human babies!! I still look forward to this mess every week.
  3. Despite realizing how stupid this show is, i was really hoping this would be the episode that Julia got through to Barbie, so they could reunite in glorious fashion. This two day separation in their three week love affair is just KILLING ME!! I'm not joking, i can't wait for Barbie to shake off the cocoon funk and get back w/ his one true love! Glad they went the extra mile in making his faux love all evil-ish this week. She was too sympathetic before.
  4. My favorite part of this show is how they overlay frightening noises over animals that are clearly not making those noises - like the wolves, making some god awful snarling noises while trotting through the halls kind of smiley-panting. Actually they did it to the child getting adopted in ep 2 (i think) when he was saying "tigres tigres tigres!" (Or something along those lines) to indicate ge wanted to go to the circus. I am 90% sure that was very poor voice-overlooking
  5. Super late, but just caught up on under the dome, and needed more summer tv - The line "More people choke on HOTDOGS than die in lion attacks" left me like ... "No shit, sherlock" - seems really obvious, lacks the zing of the "more people are killed by cows than sharks" statistic
  6. I just finished up a binge of the first three seasons, and when i googled season 4 today was gratified to find that shooting has wrapped and we can expect a premiere date soon. http://vinereport.com/article/longmire.season.4.updates.cast.show.photos.of.their.last.day.on.set.ally.walker.will.appear.in.the.new.season/1534.htm DON'T BE DEAD, BRANCH! You're too hot!
  7. Future Britta stepping into the frame at the end and doing that ridiculous "we did it!" Fist pump was all i needed.
  8. This show would be a lot more fun if the characters were constantly making reference to their convoluted pasts. As it is it's in this weird area of taking itself too seriously to be clever and truly funny and not taking itself seriously enough to be truly compelling (the promise was there in season 1, but it devolved really fast with all their half season arcs) ~~~~ I can see it's not a popular opinion here, but i like Regina and i like the idea of a SQ pairing in theory, although i can't imagine it playing out convincingly on screen - i think everyone involved would probably just be too uncomfortable to make it work. That being said, i liked the stuff with emma and regina, including the ending - although i was kind of like "bitch move, Regina" when she just went to stand idly in Hood's arms after getting out of the dark tendrils. When Regina first told Zelena (last week?) that Hood was not her happy ending, i suspected it was just lip-service to the idea of happiness consisting of more than scoring a dude, same with the "my happy ending is not a man" line this week. Saying it is nice, but not immediately contradicting it with what happens would be nicer. I'm normally a canon shipper (i was a hell of a snow/charming shipper back in season 1, ahhhh memories) - so it's an unusual feeling for me to feel so cold towards a pairing like CS. I like Hook though, and i'm guessing i'd like the pairing if i hadn't gotten caught up in the idea of SQ at the beginning of season 2. Hook in the AU was entertaining, i'll say that! OQ on the otherhand i would like in no universe. I just can't get past Hood's perpetual dopeyness. I was okay with the idea of a love interest for Regina, but i was hoping for something a little (re: a lot) more compelling. Sorry, that was a lot of couples rambling i needed to get off my chest. As for the lremise of the finale itself - i thought it was a good idea, but could have been executed better. it just felt like they didn't have quite as much fun with it as they could have - didn't shoot for the highest heights of AU zaniness.. Ah well. Onwards to Camelot we go.
  9. https://www.change.org/p/abc-s-forever-to-continue-for-another-season?recruiter=293982737&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_term=des-lg-no_src-reason_msg I hope that link works, copying off of facebook is so dicey. I signed the petition, can't hurt. I really loved Forever! Ah to be a tv executive for a day, and put out a public announcement saying "Eff the ratings, i love the show, we're renewing it!"
  10. Sounds like Ben got killed in prison. Probably accused the wrong guy of stealing his tater tots... A moron til the bitter end.
  11. I just read some article about on EW about shows cancelled during the 2014-2015 season and when i didn't see Forever listed i came here hoping for jubillant news of it's renewal :( no dice yet! I haven't given up hope
  12. "They can advertise something without you knowing?? That's like brain Windexing!" Gave me a laugh. That's as far as i've watched so far ;)
  13. The death count on this show is crazy!!! I shouted "Leeeeeelaaaaaaand noooooooo" as he fell down the shaft... Hoffman with his blood spattered face, squeezing his eyes shut as the fighting went down around him and flinching at every sound was an intense image Wilson's proposal was a bizarre sort of moving for me - him saying "you are everything" gave my ole romantic heart a flutter. D'onofrio did an incredible job with the role. Just incredible
  14. Leland: "Now might not be the time to beat your men to death" - Leland is so funny!
  15. Wilson's lines about meditation - shortform: "i can't meditate, my mind never quiets. It's a character flaw" really endeared him to me, as that's always been my problem with the concept of meditating. How do you shut up your head?? Also, is Claire not coming back?? If so, i'm hugely disappointed! She hasn't appeared in episodes (aka in the last severalhours of my watching) - i really liked her!
  16. *deleted cause i'm in the weong episode thread!*
  17. It's so bizarre to me that Cassie isn't like "Just leave my house already, no one wants you here" -- she doesn't really come across as a mischievous imp, more as a really mean person. I'm assuming she'll have to help Samantha (I think that's her name?) next week, or she'll be squarely in the 'bad person' category. It appears that she's going to lecture her about backing off the good doctor, though. I said this in the thread for last week's episode, but I'll say it again here. I find this show really relaxing to watch. I wish each episode was even longer. I honestly don't care if anything happens, it's just fulfilling my 'nice people in a small town' tv show needs now that hart of dixie has gone off the air.
  18. I just found about SSD last week when I was like "When is it coming back?! It's been forever since the season ended" - I am SO DISAPPOINTED! I loved that show! I tweeted Hallmark Movies and Mysteries to ask when the heck we can expect the next movie (since apparently the christmas outing was the first one) but no response. SO MAD! Sorry, I know that is a tangent to this forum. I will say, for The Good Witch, I'm really enjoying it. Not in a "OMG I cannot live until the next episode", but I watch it on Sunday mornings, and I always wish that it would just go on for four hours. I find it very relaxing to watch, the time passes quickly for me.
  19. I'm flabergasted that they eliminated Adam over Julian! Flabergasted! I get why they picked Darla's over Emily's as the winner - but i preferred Emily's in terms of overall effect, rather than skill required to create - that rag doll really did seem to emote to me. It made me want to apologize to any childhood toy that i mistreated (which was none, i think, i've always had a velveteen rabbit complex) Darla's felt more tired to me, inasmuch as it was a well rendered broken porcelin doll. But other than creating that effect with makeup on a human, it wasn't original. Wasn't there a broken porcelin doll in the opening credits of "are you afraid of the dark"? We get it, they're creepy
  20. I just have this feeling that when they iron out all these time-travel cause-effect wrinkles, and successfully stop the plague, someone is going to just nuke the world to hell like a year later, and even MORE people will die.
  21. So basically all Cole ever had to do was have Cassie change her voicemail to the future to say "DO NOT SEND ANYONE BACK IN TIME FOR THE LOVE OF PETE" and they would have accomplished exactly what they wanted all along?
  22. Great end to a sweet show that i never meant to get into, but i'm so glad i did. Someone upthread described it as a ray of sunshine, and that's just a perfect way to say it!
  23. Very much agreed! She's got a great, very unique, voice. I didn't notice on the show til they stopped giving her such dumb songs... Hope to hear more from her now that she's joining up with Rayna. I don't mind that Connie wasn't there, she's not much of a singer -- I'd have liked to have seen Laura Benanti though!
  24. I cried during the final number more than i have about anything in awhile. I don't know how to explain why - it wasn't for what the show was, but for what it was often so close to being, and the characters that for very occasional moments i really understood. I'm glad it's over, because it was going nowhere - but i'm going to miss it.
  25. I'd have really cried if Rachel said "And to Finn..." In her speech.
