  1. Subscribing enemies to spam? I totally did that too 🤭 Get lost Ben, I can't take another round of this.
  2. Is it me, or is Devi dating Paxton a bit underwhelming?
  3. Its sad that Fabiola and Aneesa didn't work out and ended up being so akward. It happens. I love the therapist lady I hate that people always talk about Paxton as if he was the hottest guy ever. Apart from decent looks he has very little going for it. The first couple of episodes, when he was in a relationship with Devi, did any of you feel sparks?? Me neither. I don't know what to make of Des, I hope Devi gets a chance to relax a bit more around him Ben and the art tutor seem like a much better fit.
  4. The boys helping each other out was nice. I would have preferred a Kamala centric episode instead of another Ben-episode. The Ben-Paxton-Devi Triangle has gotten really stale, really fast and I am not really interested in Ben and his shitty attitude anymore.
  5. Well, I guess the thing with how Lily is going to deal with Ola not being around is a non-issue, because some outlets report that: That is a lot. And Tanya is quite the loss . Leading with 'a number of cast members' is unsettling. Good to have Ncuti back.
  6. It would've been a better use of the guest judge if she had told them a bit about their drink and key elements for their designs - stems, openings, glass thickness .... Then they could've really judged them on usability. umm, I don't drink but arent they usually made in sturdier glasses so the bartender can really mush up the limes and mint directly in the glass? The thicker glass would be the insulation, not a stem?? A couple of sets were cute, but certainly looked like a nightmare to clean.
  7. I finally got round to watching this. I really struggled to get on board with the critiques because they were so random in what they did and didn't like, although, via different routes, they and I arrived at the same conclusion. My favourite: the petri dishes - just the dishes, they did them well. That format would suit the show a lot more than the cut throat one-liners from the contestants. But Netflix seemingly likes to have a different take on their competition shows. Metal Masters and Flower Fight also have that 'talk big' format.
  8. Jenna Coleman did a great job here, if the plot wasn't so weak and the sand to easily retrieved this would've been the best episode. And Matthew, I have a thing for opinionated animal sidekicks.
  9. I described him to Mr. Aulty yesterday as 'a thirst trap for the Twilight clientele'. Intentionally cast like that for sure. Sticks out like a sore emo thumb when he is not in one of the realms. I think the show is well made, but I haven't got a clue whats going on most of the time. They didn't do a great job setting it up in the first few episodes. I loved the opening scenes with the flying bird and the optical illusions though.
  10. I am not familiar with the source material, but I found the devil-scenes awfully lacking. Whether thats Gewn or the script, I can't say. The styling was way off.
  11. Its the orcs for me. The first images posted here and the shots of orcs in the trailer are what makes me really excited for this. Its weird but they are somewhat like a continuity character.
  12. Great news. Those two tracks are pretty decent, I agree. A bit more melodic than the movie stuff, very video game score. Looking forward to listen to them 'in situ'.
  13. If they stick with closing Moordale they could have her go to a different school than the rest of the gang - she is that smart kid club so might have higher ambitions than the rest. But I can't think of anything else that could be explained without her at least being in the first episode. Of course they could have that paternity question play out off camera and have Ola and Jakob move out of Jean's house (and as far away as possibe). As a character, she wasn't tied to many others besides Lily and Otis. The knock on effect on Lily is probably what will sting the most. If they can find someone to potentially recast, I'd be ok with that.
  14. Woah, that's a biggie: >> Sex Education Shocker! This character won't return for season 4
  15. The MTMs in the finale did very little for me as red carpet looks. I am very happy with the winner, even though I preferred Man Yee's pieces and her PC was my favourite. It was very tight between the 4. And Esme, the more we know about her, the cooler she gets.
  16. I thought Lisa had it in the bag, but I am not mad about her being pipped by Yong-chin. For me, YC was better in the face off, but Lisa's creative challenge was the strongest of the 3 by a mile and a half. They wheel Rankin out on every competition show nowadays, he's gonna be on Bake Off next, shooting cakes.
  17. Wee donkey, that face off challenge was brought to us by Julia Fox's thirst tour of early 2022.
  18. The results were a bit underwhelming, but as a challenge I liked it because it was something that viewers can have a go at. That origami challenge ... haven't we had one of those before? Yes, Season 5, episode 7 - International week.
  19. I was wondering that too. I hope they have at least some business related to selling food. Who buys overpriced basic Mac & Cheese at a food truck? In California? That's like going to the zoo to see the pigeons.
  20. The show really has come into its own with the second season. I hope the women get on well behind the scenes because it looks like they have a lot of fun doing this; and that the show gets the chance to do 5-6 seasons. There was almost too much of Wicki and her robotic storytelling, but the lunch lord story was sweet. As was her singing BPE with Dawn and her husband. Gloria is a hoot, and when she gets a story with one of the other girls, she always amplifies their personality. Love Gloria! Bonus points for the dig on Disney adults. PS: It will forever bug me that the intro is all about that +1 joke - 5eva, 3gether, high 6 etc. - but at the end it sais cre8ted by instead of cre9ted by.
  21. Finally an update on the shooting schedule. If they film over the summer it might be back to a January release date? Fingers crossed.
  22. I wasn't mad keen on any of the rave inspired looks, they all felt pretty save. The expert judge was great though - not that I know who he is, but the Rhianna looks were damn good, and he came over as really knowledgeable and pleasant. The creative briefs are like Skin Wars challenges. How many of those bark, moss and plant looks have we had this season? At least one every week. I think I would get rid of the Face Off and have a weekly masterclass instead, maybe with a technical challenge - teach them those tricky techniques that they can use in their professional assignments and give the audience a chance to take away a tip or two.
  23. There is something about a super cool granny and a posh gentlemen talking and handling lingerie on telly. The gusset inspector and her lacy sidekick.
  24. I don't know what kind of larder they were given for the pepper challenge, but the balls girls and pasta crew introducing their food truck themes but then going with something completely off-signature for the challenge was a bit odd. The two queens are melting my head already. But there are a few trucks with interesting dishes - they didn't get much air time so far though. The girls that had to find a store with a proper spice selection: good on them for not compromising on their spices. Their food sounds tasty. This show needs an overhaul.
  25. I am not that good at nor that invested in make up, but the bright eyeliner and mascara trend is something that I really love - yellow and green are my colours. The first challenge was right up my street and I might even check out that brand's products. Even I knew Lisa was in trouble before the judges said it out loud - girl, why didn't you just put two seperate lines of eyeliner instead of mixing it. I am probably in the minority, but the 'tell us your story' creative briefs are starting to bore me.
