  1. I just watched this episode. I feel so bad for the employees. I can not imagine having that horrible lunk of a man breathing down my neck and threatening to hulk out at any second. The misogyny the guy was displaying was amazing. It is obvious he does not want his business to be patronized by women, because that might make his probably raisin size balls shrink even more. No it not a diet company, but a "gas in the monster machine that is your body" company. Everything is ultra manly. The inside of the company looked like a prison and lunkhead probably thinks that is "manly" decor.
  2. . I think Monet was initially disappointed that Vaughn was not more established in his career. I think this threw Vaughn for a loop, because according to him, all the previous women in his life (this includes everything from his ex girlfriends to his mother) have worshiped the ground he walks on. I think this is when he started throwing out there that he really wanted a Paula Patton look alike. He probably did prefer a lighter skin woman, but would have probably kept it to himself if he did not feel so insecure. I have no idea what he told the experts. This is my two cents and is purely based on speculation. Also, as we know from season 2, people can lie like a cheap rug and it seems the experts will believe them if that is what the producers want.
  3. Does anyone know if this show is getting a third season?
  4. There was something about the style of the mural that reminded me of communist propaganda posters. I lived in Miami for a short while and I hope that is not offensive to the large Cuban American population who resides there. Otherwise, I liked the family and am enjoying seeing deserving business owners get some much needed assistance.
  5. Thank you for reminding me about this scene. The Teen Mom series has turned into such trash that it is sometimes hard to remember that the original 16 and P series has some very powerful moments. I think this is also what frustrates me most about Maci. She come from a relatively loving and stable background and was blessed with good amount of money for someone of her age and skills. However, she is still making the same mistakes over and over again. Whether it be Ryan, Kyle, or Taylor...she always wants to put the cart before the horse and force her happy family situation to happen. I never understood her rush. She is relatively young and has plenty of time to meet a guy organically (who is really into her) and then let things happen in there own time.
  6. The thing that really annoyed me is that it is one thing if your artist tries his or her best and can not execute a good tattoo because it is beyond their ability to do so. It is a chance that you take when coming on a show like this as a canvas...that your tattoo artist is working under crazy time constraints and perhaps in a style in which they are uncomfortable. However, this guy purposely gave his canvas a bad tattoo so he could prove his point, which was American Traditional sucks. For all the jerks and bad tattoos that we have seen on the show, I think this is the first time we saw that (I could be wrong).
  7. I really hated that a guy made a horribly dark tattoo skull with a knife just to show his contempt for American Traditional. It was totally disrespectful to his canvas who will have to live with that for the rest of her life. During the jury she did not even try to defend his awfulness. She almost looked like she had tears in her eyes. It will also be a hard tattoo to cover up because it was so dark. I am glad that guy went home and I hope all his future customers take heed of how unprofessional he acted.
  8. I really would love a season three. I also need to have Mercy be gone, forever. She has turned from an abused child to an entitled spoiled brat. I also need to have a season where Isaac is not horribly tortured. Does Satan realize the main reason the ladies went against Mary is that she was against sacrificing her son to bring him into the world? If Tituba and the Countess had not been deceitful with Mary, he would not be there sitting on his little throne. I agree it makes no sense.
  9. Pure speculation on my part. I just do not think it is a coincidence that Veeral's sister hosted the couples meet dinner and it was filmed on their home turf.. I certainly could be wrong. I agree with most everything you said. I think the show missed a golden opportunity to explore the link between Indian and Gypsy cultures. It is not often talked about and it was hinted on by the sister's husband.
  10. This is what I think the writer's were trying convey and doing a poor job. They wanted to show that everyone was doing well. Grace is going to be attending ivy league schools and cost will be no problem, since now they can just sell Jackie's house. Zoey has finally cut ties with Jackie and is going to do well on her own. O'hara is awesome as usual and very happy in her new life with her son. Thor is happily married and probably has a bright future. Eddie would be okay if he is allowed to testify against the pill mill. When O'hara was mentioning all the things Jackie was, besides being a Nurse I think that is when Jackie realized that the only thing she tolerated well was being an addict. She loved her pills. The gleeful look on her face when she popped a pill into her mouth was her moment of nirvana. The rest of her life was just a distraction until she could get her next high. I think she realized she did not really value being a mother, wife, or friend. Heck, I think she even realized that she cared about her oxy more then being a nurse. This is why she did the only honorable thing in her mind...overdose and stop being a burden to everyone else. She was finally good. I think this is what they were going for...but they kind of failed in the execution.
  11. I think even Joe is beginning to realize that Gordon and Donna are the closest things he has to a friend. Last year, I felt that Joe could be a sociopath. This year he has appeared to mellow and mature. However, I am sure as soon as I am lulled into a false sense of security about the character...he will do something horrible. Does anyone wonder if Joe is still talking to his father? I mean he comes from a wealthy family and probably does not need to worry about money, unless his father cut him off. I am enjoying the season so far.
  12. I wonder why the heck Mercy thought Sebastian was into her. He seemed to always speak to her with contempt and barely can keep from spitting on her. I guess she feels beautiful for the first time in her life (though the actress is attractive enough) and it kind of went to her head. I love Lucy Lawless, but does anyone thinks she is one of the devil's ex-girlfriends that he is just not into anymore? It feels like she has been waiting an eternity for him to call. I am waiting for her to try to take what she thinks is her rightful position by devil's side as queen, only for Lucifer to inform her that he is in love with Mary.
  13. I also remember her saying to Meatloaf (sorry Caliban) that if he wanted women, he would get him five to fuck or something equally as lewd. I do not think she cares for anyone but herself. Brona, for all her horrible circumstances. was actually a sweet person. I actually think the nicest person in the series might be Angelique. She was too good for Dorian. Excellent episode. I wish this series would get some Emmy love.
  14. Yeah, it seems like the canvasses sometimes just pick the worst looking tattoo. To me the squirrel was a stupid looking tattoo, but it was what the canvas wanted and it was technically sound. The ugliness of the tattoo had nothing to do with the artist, since it was exactly what her client wanted. There was almost nothing redeemable about the demon tattoo. It will age into a big blob like mess.
  15. I think he checked before he even joined the show. It is funny that Sean thinks of himself as this master manipulator, when it was doofus Ryan that really had us all snowed.
  16. I was wondering why the heck Veeral and Ragini were on this show. Many Indians born and raised in the United States do follow a blend of modern and traditional lifestyle choices, but there are still some groups who still do blind arranged marriages. I thought there are many Indian couples out there that are far more "arranged" then these two. Then I got my answer...they are related to one of the producers and probably fame whores.
  17. I was disappointed in this show on many levels. I think Ragini should realize that no one gives a shit if she is working or not. She should stop trying to impose her views on everyone. Just because a woman chooses to stay home does not mean she is some sort of passive dumbass. Many women usually work and take care of their families and she has no right to pass judgement on someone else's life choice. Also, despite her supposed plastic surgery, she is a rather unattractive woman. She just confirmed that she is very lucky that Veeral puts up with her. This show was a giant fail and I doubt there will be a second season. I really wanted to peek into different culture, but instead we have two unarranged marriages and very little valuable information on the one marriage that was arranged.
  18. They were a lot like you guys, except one of them was from Brooklyn. Just to clarify, I am quoting the late great Cotton Hill and not implying that the posters on this board are fat or stink.
  19. Yeah, I just saw a child I loved get horribly sacrificed on another show. For some reason I could not warm up to the actor that plays John Jr. and really do not think he is worth all the fuss.
  20. Then why the heck did the experts not hold him accountable in any way? Why did they not ask Ryan, hey you acted like you wanted to be with Jaclyn before on camera and then bailed on her when push comes to shove. Low and behold what did Ryan do this time...he bailed on the dinner they where supposed to attend after the six month reunion show. Please understand I am not trying to argue with you...who I am sure is just as disgusted by his behavior as I am. I am just horrified about how little the experts cared about the health (physical and emotional) and well being of the women. Jacklyn was more then ready to move on, only to be humiliated again by this creep, mostly due to the "expert" advice she trusted.
  21. I was disappointed as hell that the reunion the experts kept pressuring Jacklyn to be with a man who simply does not care for her at all. Also, why the hell were they not lecturing Ryan? He was the one that threw away the relationship to go mooch off his mother. It is like the experts are in a 1950's mindset that if a relationship goes bad it is always the woman's fault. A guy ignores you and treats you like garbage because he is a weak pathetic loser...well the experts think you are being too rigid and should give him a second chance. Horrible relationship advice, because you are never going to make him love you and he is really not worth your precious time and effort.
  22. You know, Demetria, love her or hate her is the center of this year's storyline because of her wedding. Bravo always loves a good wedding and I bet you, if there is a season 3, Demetria's spot is secure. I wonder if producers sort of told Melyssa and Geneva that there is only room for one of you in "Demetria's best friend" role and that is why the we are having all this stupidity? Melyssa, for all her beauty and video vixen past, actually (before the fight) does not add much to the plot line. Her introduction of Arzo has been a complete dud and her real estate career does not seem to be going anywhere. Geneva's is one of many women in New York that live the Sex and the City lifestyle on mommy's dime. I also bet you both women are heavily dependent on that Bravo paycheck. Melyssa is the one in worse financial straits as she does not come from financial stability the way Geneva does and her video girl days are behind her. This might be why she is acting a damn fool in the last couple of episodes.
  23. If it is true about Ryan R not feeding the cat, then he is dead to me and I can't even say that I am a cat person. I tend to believe it, because Jacklyn has been very kind to him overall, when she could have dragged his reputation through the streets, if the spoilers are to be believed. I also have a hard time believing such a jerk is "sacrificing his life" to take care of his orphaned niece and his elderly mother. More likely, he is a huge freeloader who does squat. I hate the show for painting this loser as a nice guy. Also, did you guys see the experts once again gas lighting a woman to stay in a bad relationship? Jacklyn understands that Ryan does not care about her and will say whatever is needed to make himself look good on camera. Yet, idiot experts where practically forcing her to give him a second chance. Edited to add: Did you guys notice how loving and accepting Jaclyn was with the niece and mother? I truly think Ryan missed out on the one nice woman who would put up with his dead beat ass and take care of his family.
  24. Why the heck is it the default mode for Ryan and his friends to call women sluts or ugly when they disagree? This makes the guys look very misogynistic and immature, which really does not help their case.
  25. My biggest concern is that Taylor does not seem the least bit interested in her and only seems to be sticking around for the fleeting fame and fortune. I feel no desire in him to be with her the rest of his life. In fact, if it was not for the fleeting fame and fortune I do not think he would be with her at all. Maci is making the same mistakes over and over again. You can not force a guy into fulfilling you wish of a perfect family, if that guy does not want the same thing. She is so desperate to be married because I think she honestly looks at it as some sort of accomplishment. Anyone can plan a wedding, but it takes hard work to have a successful marriage and a fiance who is reluctant in the first place, does not bode well for long term success.
