  1. Same for me. Outlander took so long to release S7, I forgot all the plot lines. Characters were randomly showing up and I'm like, "Who the heck are you?." I don't know why there's such lags between seasons nowadays.
  2. And the irony is staying to clean up has now created an even bigger mess to clean up because many more are going to die.
  3. Same. At this point the cannibalism has lost the shock value. The two background girls barely have any lines, so their deaths will be even more forgettable than Krystal's. We know Hannah dies, so the only two fates I'm invested in are Akilah and Mari. Gen, I don't care about either way. I should've said the bone clean-up, sorry. The bones would show cut and teeth marks. I'm assuming they'd have to get rid of them somehow in case the family members wanted remains.
  4. I guess it's fun to speculate, but I agree with all the above. Pit Girl and Antler Queen were never meant to be big reveals. The former is either Gen, Robyn, Mari or Hannah and the latter could be anyone. The leadership role has changed multiple times since they crashed in the Wilderness. It's probably Shauna, given they don't have much time left in the woods. I'm actually more interested in the practical stuff. How do they do the body cleanup? How will they hash out their cover story and how the heck do they actually get rescued? In S1, Adult Tai and Adult Shauna imply that it's because of Natalie, so I'm excited to see that play out.
  5. If she's halfway to halfway, that means her pregnancy is going to be 64 weeks long? And this woman has a college degree?
  6. I can't believe I didn't think of this before, but someone on Reddit made a great post about the transponder and SatPhone. It's unlikely the phone will be their ticket to rescue, because based on what Callie found in that article, the world doesn't know the scientists and the YJ's crossed paths. We already know they kill Hannah at some point, so even if they got it fixed, they'd have to explain how they came into possession of it but didn't meet the researchers. So I'm assuming they either don't fix it or they do but one of them breaks it, realizing it leads to questions they don't want to answer. If they don't get rescued in the finale, this show better get renewed because it'll drive me crazy not knowing. 😆
  7. I think Trace got the watch, IIRC.
  8. People here seem to get it but I'm kind of gobsmacked others on different platforms see it as a sign of the wilderness protecting Lottie. No, it isn't. Travis simply tangled the branches in a way that created much sturdier webbing. We also don't know how far across the hole Lottie was standing. She could've been closer to the edge where her weight wouldn't cause that much strain on the sticks.
  9. There was a $100 limit, but they could go over it if they wanted, which was kind of unfair. Not all of the siblings have money like that and nobody wants to be the one who gives modest gifts while everyone else is showing off expensive stuff.
  10. Carlin gave Josie a $500 pair of headphones for ILYD. The Stews are blowing through money like it's water.
  11. With regards to the draw, I wonder it will play out next episode. When they first did the card draw in S2, it was supposed to be a straightforward execution. It only turned into a hunt after Nat panicked and ran, with Javi dying in her place. So now that it's become a game of sorts, will they establish rules? Will it be like the season premiere, where the person whose 'it' can be declared the winner if they can make it to a designated spot? Or do they just chase until they wear out their prey then go in for the kill?
  12. The only way I think they get around that is burying the bones miles from the crash site and saying animals dragged the dead bodies off. That means they'd eventually have to dig up Edwin and move him as well.
  13. I imagine that will be the theme going forward. Nat totally broke when she realized their escape attempt failed and the snow started falling. I can see the Others following suit. They can't trust Hannah, she just killed their only shot at making a run for it. Since they don't have the willpower to dispose Shauna, there's nothing left to do but surrender. I did a rewatch tonight and I wonder if Callie will be the one who ends up killing her. She's clearly more bonded to Jeff and she looked so sad for him when he said being married to Shauna was lonely. Callie may figure it's the only way they can be free from Shauna's craziness. So I guess Van's hero arc was that she defeated Bad Tai? I suspect this whole thing is going to have a similar ending to Lost where the dead are in a holding pattern, waiting for the remaining adults to join them and they end up back in the Wilderness. Lottie was right that they were never meant to leave. It felt like Teen Van was alluding to that when she said surviving wasn't the reward, and also when Adult Van asked what happens if this wasn't the end during the death scene.
  14. Let me guess, she linked the towel rack, table set and Disney accessories? I can't get over the dirt hill and the turf. That backyard is such an eyesore.
  15. Same. I was tired when I watched last night, so hopefully I'll like it more when I rerun it today. I thought I'd have more of a reaction to Van's death, but it didn't do anything for me. Van being killed by a teammate she hasn't seen for 20+ years, fell a little flat in terms of emotional impact. I would rather that she died of the cancer. And since I overthink the details, what the heck is Alex gonna think when she comes home to find blood smeared on the walls and a dead body on her floor? Unless she's in on it and Melissa has been lying from jump.
  16. Yeah, it definitely feels like Shauna will play into the Wilderness stuff because it gives her an opportunity to exercise her cruelty and love of violence. She knows it's bullshit, but she won't care. So now four or five girls will die in less than two months because Travis and Nat didn't take her out in the last episode. Crazy.
  17. I'm guessing we're getting Pit Girl in the finale?
  18. This episode was a little odd for me. The group split between the girls felt a bit jarring, like we needed more dialogue to show how they divided. It's a tad convenient they broke evenly between main characters and the B-tier (minus Nat, of course). So we've got Van rigging the cards and those who aren't part of the inner circle will be the first to go. The escape plan was stupid and destined to fail. These girls' senses are fine tuned. No way Kodi and Hannah were waltzing out of camp, stepping on leaves and sticks, with no one hearing. Interesting that Hannah threw Kodi under the bus instead of ratting out Nat. So I guess Lottie not falling into the pit was a sign the Wilderness really chooses? Or at least that's how Travis will interpret it. I still don't understand why the teens just don't kill Shauna. She's not a vampire, she has to fall asleep sometime. Wait til she does and take her out. Do they not get they outnumber her 13:1?
  19. Someone on Reddit identified the type of moth. I can't recall the specific name but it's known as an omen of death in several cultures.
  20. I never thought of that, but you're right. I can handwave that the researchers had an agreed-upon pickup time in case the SatPhone went down, but if the YJ's kill Kodi and Hanna and somehow make it to the pickup point, how would they explain knowing about it without coming clean about the scientists? They can't exactly say they all died from accidents or the trio told the kids about rescue, went off on their own and randomly disappeared. It's all too suspicious. We know they kill Hannah, which means they likely kill Kodi and that means none of them make it to the rescue site. I think it's going to end up as others theorized: the YJ's get rescued after a search party is mobilized for the scientists.
  21. Poor Jane. I hope she comes out of this okay.
  22. Based on the painfully slow burn of S3, it definitely feels like the showrunners are shooting for 5, but I think the Adult timeline is too thin. Once they resolve the Melissa issue, then what? There's really nowhere left for it to go, unless Shauna just starts killing everyone out of paranoia. My guess is they're hoping to use S4 to cover the last couple months in the Wilderness and dedicate S5 to post rescue, but I'm not sure we'll get there. I think they need to do an extended season and wrap things up in 4.
  23. It's late autumn, so they have around 2 months left.
  24. That's odd. Paramount+ uploads the new episodes Friday at midnight. I'm on Pacific Time and can get them Thursday a little after 9:00. I'll check the app on my phone now to see if I can get it. Eta: it's showing up on mine, maybe try again? Or log out and log back in?
  25. It may have been both. I also think Akilah had misgivings about Kodi. A six day hike to the pickup spot with no supplies. Akilah and Travis have the weapons but Kodi is fitter and stronger. It's unlikely they could keep him contained over the course of a week.
