  1. They're definitely on an eff you tear lately. Grocery shopping, reading to the kids, vegetables, cooking at home. I'm guessing they're low on content and this is their version of a rebrand? I call b.s. on the Barbie story as well. Layla never goes to a store and leaves empty-handed. Every Target or Walmart trip she's getting toys, junk jewelry, candy, lip gloss, etc. Speaking of Travis and Katie, I wonder if the Stew Crew will be driving to NJ for Hailey's party? It sounds like it will be an obnoxiously showy affair, so I'd say yes. Plus it will give them an excuse to blow off BSB for two weeks, so definitely yes.
  2. Does the State actually cut them a check, or do they provide materials and supplies worth up to a certain amount? If they're just doling out money, it seems kind of nuts. So many ignorant parents would just blow the money on themselves.
  3. I always thought it was weird too how Josie's hand had to be somewhat forced to admit Michael watches the girls. Similar to how Alyssa never gave Tikky credit for buying all those dresses until Tikky herself spilled the beans. Fundies are a weird bunch though, I never quite get their logic. Pregnancy #3 is 100% imminent. If Carlin can drive, there's no reason Evan can't go back to a full time job. If there isn't enough to do at BSB to keep Zach busy, there sure as hell isn't enough for Evan. The last thing Carlin wants is to be on her own with the kids all day, so a baby (plus the ensuing medical drama) will avoid that.
  4. I wonder if Josie and Kelton pay for the babysitting? Michael watches her kids a ton, yet she never extends that offer to Evan and Carlin. Kelton strikes me as the type of guy who doesn't like being indebted to anyone, so I can see him giving Michael something for keeping the girls. The idea of the Stewarts going on a marriage retreat is laughable. Their entire lives are an escape from reality.
  5. Josie promoted the boutique so it was definitely freebies. Maybe she's trying to be ahead of the curve by abandoning the Sad Beige aesthetic?
  6. I just watched Carlin's reels and that soup was a crime. You could see the greasy layer sitting on top because Carlin didn't drain the fat from the ground beef, and I can't believe she doesn't know to rinse the beans. You never add them straight from the can. 🤮🤮🤮 It's funny how she and Josie go tit-for-tat on Instagram. I know they both follow the Basic Bitch social media playbook, but they're like clockwork. If one goes to the pumpkin patch, the other goes to the pumpkin patch. Josie posts a latte, Carlin posts a latte. Soup, fancy grills, Christmas tree farms, movie nights, making memories, "wouldn't trade this for the world," it never ends....
  7. Zach is funny and affable, I agree he'll excell in any type of sales gig. I think it's great that he's planning for a post-BSB future, although I'm a little surprised he isn't trying to get another government job. The benefits and pension are really good with most city and state agencies. For whatever reason, he seems done with law enforcement. I'm looking forward to seeing the YouTube. Zach's food always looks amazing and I love cooking content. I'm curious about BSB, though. Is it doing so well Z&W can hand the reigns to the manager and simply collect a check, or is the writing on the wall? It seems like they did a half dozen cash and carries over the summer but the inventory pile never diminished. I agree this needs to be a wakeup call for the Stewarts. They can't live off social media forever and there's no Daddy (Warbucks) Clark to subsidize their lifestyle. They need to do what the Websters and Balkas are doing, where the husband has a solid 9-5 and the wife's Influencing is icing on the cake.
  8. The idea of these two clowns having a pool terrifies me. Alyssa and John are horribly lax on safety, I can't even imagine how bad Evan and Carlin would be.
  9. I agree. It seems like most guys have new girlfriends before the ink on the obituary can dry.
  10. Even for two idiots like Evan and Carlin, I'm surprised. The frigid weather sweeping the nation has been a major story for the past week. I've gotten news alerts about it on my phone and I'm on the West Coast. Either Evan's Tesla was struggling to hold a charge or he didn't want to risk his most prized possession in the snow. In fairness I'm not sure how well Teslas handle the roads in bad weather, so maybe Gil and his truck were the safer option. Still, it's ridiculous he had to come to the rescue. Evan is pushing 30. He's not some dippy 18 year-old who doesn't plan ahead because he's just learning to adult. At this point in life, he shouldn't be so ill-prepared.
  11. Lulz, in Carlin's defense she did say 1/2 a tsp., but yeah I don't think I'd take medical advice from someone offering a 20% discount code. Mary Ruth is trendy lately among the Influencer crowd. Their products are really expensive, but I don't know if they're worth it or not. I did some Googling to see if kids should even take this stuff and the first quote that popped up was "Sleep aids should never be a replacement for healthy sleep habits." There isn't one element of Layla's lifestyle (other than dance) that could be described as healthy.
  12. It's funny you say that because I noticed similar behavior in the Christmas video. There were a couple of times Maci reached out to grab something Allie had in her hand and Allie snatched it away and gave her a death glare. I know toddlers can be grabby and don't understand what's theirs and what isn't, but the interaction was so hostile. That is not a happy kid. 😥 There's definitely no question as to who fills the scapegoat and golden child roles!
  13. I think Kelton spends enough time with the Bates to not be rude, but it's pretty obvious he prefers his own family. Case in point, when he cooks for his side it's steaks and prime rib while the Bates get chicken and Russet potatoes. Nothing wrong with the latter, but he clearly doesn't go all out. I can't get a good enough read on him to say whether he discourages Josie from having family over or spending time with them, but it was incredibly strange when Alyssa didn't visit after Josie had Hazel, and Katie doesn't go to her house ever when she's in town. Maybe they've just all grown apart and gone their separate ways, but it's sad for sisters who were once so close.
  14. Just saw that Lawson is there as well. Not sure about Tiffany. Personally I hate doing large group trips. I'm the type that wants to get up and be on my own schedule. I don't want to sit in a hotel lobby for an hour waiting for someone to finish their makeup or jump in the shower because they didn't wake up on time. I can't even imagine how bad those antics would be in a family like the Bates.
  15. Good question. Katie and Carlin were at Zach's house for dinner, Alyssa and Erin are currently home, and I'm assuming Josie isn't flying cross country so close to her due date, so it doesn't seem like most of the marrieds are attending. Maybe it's Gil, Kelly, Trace, Lydia and the younger kids?
  16. Omg, how did she get metal in her eye? That's scary as hell.
  17. Last Sunday Carlin posted a video of Layla with Josie's girls, and Layla is similar in size to Hazel, who's much younger versus Willow who's only slightly older (IIRC). Khloe, like Kolter, is also close in age but a full head taller. I know short genetics are going to produce short kids, but I have to think Layla's diet is a major factor. I've never seen a child eat so much junk.
  18. Maybe Mr. and Mrs. Stewart booked themselves on a nice vacation right after Christmas and nipped the freeloading in the bud? Very interesting though how E&C seem to be wearing out their welcome. Their visit to NJ got cut short after Travis made it clear he and Katie weren't going to play your guide, and now E&C returned to Knox immediately after the holiday. Highly unusual. I did see Carlin's reels and that watch party was so lame. The men looked so bored, which makes me think their wives dragged them to church. I can't imagine watching a bowl game sitting at a folding table rather than the comfort of my couch. Bless her heart though, that this is her definition of a wild time.
  19. Oh, wow, in what ways? I'm not disagreeing with you, I just don't watch a lot of their YouTube, so I haven't noticed.
  20. Hailey is very lucky. The Clarks adore her and dote on her. Ma and Pa Clark are problematic in a lot of ways, but they'll never let that little girl go without. I hope Katie keeps that in mind whenever she gets the urge to move back to TN. With that said, I don't think she'll be an only child much longer. I think both Katie and Carlin will announce pregnancies in 2024, especially now that Josie's having her third.
  21. They must have one very patient HOA because the outside of their house looked like a dump. Dead shrubs, dilapidated fence, several years past due for a paint job. I know improvements cost money, but I can't believe they let it go this long. I think Alyssa finally smartened up and realized if she wanted stuff done she had to figure out a way to grift it. She didn't feature long, lingering shots of the painting company's sign out of the goodness of her heart. John even said he's too cheap to pay pros, so they definitely got some form of discount. I agree it looks nice. I like the bluish-gray on the garage doors.
  22. I think buying the shoes a half size big, (assuming Allie has ones that fit her now), wouldn't have been the worst thing. Where her parents went wrong is not getting her something she could enjoy right then and there. Two pairs of shoes she has to grow into and doll clothes for a doll she didn't yet have makes for a pretty depressing Christmas. Not that her siblings made out much better, but at least they had one thing they could play with that day. I don't know what John and Alyssa's deal is, because judging by the Christmas social media posts of her siblings, they don't scrimp when it comes to their kids. Layla and Zade got a nice playset, Bradley got his dog, Khloe got a Barbie Jeep and Josie's girls got princess gear and other age appropriate toys. Alyssa strikes me as kind of bitter, like "I didn't get shit for Christmas growing up, so you don't need to either." I think John is just cheap and won't spend any more on his kids than absolutely necessary.
  23. I cringed so hard when I saw the pictures of the Royals walking to church, and Sarah Ferguson had on clunky green ankle boots with a dress and matching coat. It's an awful trend when teens and 20-somethings do it, middle-aged and up is even worse. Wear a flat if you need something comfortable, ffs.
