  1. Another few thoughts- Quinta really played the emotionally devastated teacher well. She kept trying to deal with mom calmly and rationally and fell apart later. Plus a Dollar Tree shout out. Lots of money for my class goes there, but luckily it goes a long way. (No Rose Art or other off name-brand supplies though).
  2. I believe that's from show that airs previously. My DVR picks it up just before Abbott starts.
  3. Oh show, you got this so right. The best teachers I've ever known, never stop learning or trying to be better. I've cried after P-T conferences, and cried harder when I felt I failed a student. Teaching is a labor of love, this show is too. On Thursdays, at school we discuss the show. Our wing has a Janine and a Barbara. I'm proud to be a Melissa this year. Overwhelmed, barely keeping my head above water, but loving my kiddoes and working every day to keep them engaged and excited.
  4. Parent of a child with CAS (Childhood Apraxia of Speech) here. Early intervention is the key with virtually all developmental delays. Son has been in therapy since before 2nd bday. He will get dismissed from his IEP next school year most likely. He is 6. Lots of hard work, lots of time. Worth it.
  5. I wondered if they were LDS. Big family, healthy lifestyles, no talk of being near bars- although I guess with 5 kids, not much bar-hopping will be going on. They picked the right house, the kids are used to a big house, and especially the older daughter will want/need some privacy. Guessing they may be there a year or two, but predict they'll head back to Texas at some point.
  6. Quinta hosting SNL Sat. April 1st was wonderful. She really is a school teacher supporter. Love her.
  7. Me three. Jessica (like many athletes) is not big breasted, so a halter would be a good choice. Her shoulders and back would look good in a halter. It was a missed opportunity at the appointment.
  8. Hugs to you about your mom Grizzly. I remember that show, Something Borrowed or Something New. If I remember, most all brides chose new. Best part was them ripping the old dress in front of mom.
  9. My take- there are tons of bloggers, content creators (?), influencers, etc all over the internet and more trying to become relevant all the time. To keep the thumbs up, views, likes coming, these people have to stay active online. Don't post for awhile or (gasp) become boring, people are going to look/lurk elsewhere online. All these MLM people need the publicity, thus they continously post. See Roloffs, Teen Mom alums, Whitney Thore, all those dopes on House Hunters, etc.
  10. Interesting time to post this as it's late March, not quite graduation season. I used to think PreK/K graduations were dumb, then covid happened. Now I'm up for any and all reasons to celebrate with family and friends.
  11. Really liked Red. Seemed like a cool person. Dress she chose did look much better after alterations. First bride ended up with a pretty dress that fit her shape well, but I was surprised at her budget. With all of her "diamond" talk, thought she'd have more to spend. Like Peter and Amber(?) as sales associates. Don't love Randy popping in as much this season, and in general like him. He's not being helpful in pulling dresses, he's just at the pedestal.
  12. Agree so much Princess. Another important factor IMO is effective and intense counseling from someone trained and experienced working with trans youth. Have recently met a trans high school student beginning the process. She is prob 6'1" and has/is going through puberty. She's a lovely girl, but we live in a very red state and I fear for both her safety and her mental health.
  13. Calling total shenanigans on guy walking by- but I laughed. If I saw a camera person filming, I might wave- but that area was a parking lot, not a walking trail. They won't have much foot traffic.
  14. Chicago gma was such a sweetie. She'll respect boundaries. Hubby has had 2 hip replacements and then 2 revisions. Very dark time for him (and me), recoveries were long. He said it looked like her legs were different lengths. Yikes! I wish her good health and lots of granddaughter time.
  15. I did. No charm, no wit, no storyline. Never watched one second of Kardashians (and proud of that). These social influencers won't influence me.
  16. This times 1000. Streets (and sexual harassment) run both ways.
  17. Have watched this shitshow since Day 1. Serious question- are they in on the joke? Sometimes I am certain they are, other times, not so sure. Calling huge shenanigans on Aniko and her move in. University of Arizona would be zoo on dorm move in day, and in mid-to-late August, it would be 110 degrees. Darcey would be melting.
  18. Welcome Scarlett45! Have watched from beginning and love the dynamic between Keith and Evan. They are so cute together and even each other out. Love that they are making homes affordable in neighborhoods that need it. Read some backlash about some saying they are "White saviors", but I just think they are two creative men making a fun TV show and helping a community.
  19. Courtney looked good in all dresses, but agree about the puffy detached sleeves. That being said, I really liked dress #2- it was pretty and unique. Plus I liked Peter, the new consultant. Didn't care for long haired bride. Hubby-to-be can take a hike.
  20. Our cat could pee in toilet too. Never trained her to do it, but she was smart and watched fam using toilet. Happened to catch her one day. Got it on video, then shut door so it never happened again.
  21. I'm still in. Been a victim, um watcher every season. Amanda is my favorite, but yep she was extra crass with the sex talk. Tammy and Caleb are a huge mistake. They both need medical care, jobs, a place to live and money. This marriage (like most in the teevee reality world) is doomed.
  22. Anna and Lucy lives are dysfunctional. Their job was so good for their independence and confidence. There definitely is a degree of self-awareness as they knew even in their short-term job that they were changing. But it seems like it didn't "give them anxiety" then only later after introspection. Their mom and boyfriend are huge enablers. That being said, I'm a real live and let live person, and these women are harming no one. If they are happy, they are happy. Problem is, I don't think they are happy.
  23. Take that Legendary Charter! Love the teamwork and Tariq winning the day.
  24. Dominique and fam were nice, but agree the Maggie dress was so much more flattering on her. Didn't love the Randy dress, she needed a size or 2 up, so with alterations hopefully it will look better. 3B bride will look good in everything. Liked her choice ok, still don't love cutouts even on slim brides.
  25. When both heredity and environment are stacked against you, it is hard. Throw in a not great work ethic and the lure of easy money, the odds are so stacked against her. *Sigh*
