  1. I don't think I could take Liam being put at Quinn's mercy again for him to have to thank her for anything, LOL. I didn't mention anything at all about Liam being put at Quinn's mercy, nor did I mention ever Liam thanking Quinn for anything. I was envisioning Quinn circumventing some plot development that could endanger Liam and/or Ivy. Liam or Ivy wouldn't have to know about it. Humility and selflessness are two qualities that could endear Quinn to the TV audience.
  2. Loved this redemption arc, OLTL knew how to write it back in the day. I agree, the B&B writers could easily have Quinn save Liam or Ivy from some impending disaster.
  3. That may be the case, but maybe she's asking for a pay raise, maybe she wants to work four days a week. If popularity were the only criteria, Jed would've been bounced months ago!
  4. Admitting it is the first step!
  5. Soaps have a long history of taking bad girls and transforming them into classic soap heroines. I've seen it happen with Raven Whitney, Bobbie Spencer, Karen Wolek, Donna Beck and yes, Rachel Cory. What all these characters have in common is after all their misdeeds, they all went through a period where they suffered, so the audience could see them atoning for their sins. Only after this atonement can they transform into heroine status. This storyline with Sheila will be Quinn's atonement, I believe. Sheila has always operated long term operations on her enemies (poisoning, gaslighting), her plans for Quinn should be very interesting. It's almost as if the writers said 'how can we normalize this crazy bitch?' and the answer was 'we get a crazier bitch' with the solution being 'see if Kimberlin Brown is available!'.
  6. That last scene is giving me life! In the courtyard, two adversaries both with histories of crazy behavior, one reformed, one not so much. Threats, more threats, a shove with a shoulder and then an icy glare. Wow, I haven't been this excited about the show in a while.
  7. I don't either, they're stories Polly told.
  8. NDG and Julie Andrews! I'll be DVRing two episodes this week. Since I FF Hot Topics and commercials and only watch the interviews, I hope they have that awful Jed off the panel when NDG and JA are on.
  9. Roller is just a bad wet dream now. I hope we get a Polly story every episode. Bordello madam, Symbionese Liberation Army... I can't wait for the next one.
  10. Not money, the love of money, one of my pet peeves, it's 'For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.' Timothy 6:10
  11. Please explain the success of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
  12. The losing team got to hold another ball. The Veep team kept losing, the Veep guy had to hold another ball.
  13. It's cold in the studio, and Jane looked fantastic.
  14. I didn't even watch the show, but I think when Joe talks about teaching at a synagogue or coaching baseball it's really about being a productive member of the congressional district.
  15. Because Carter is his lawyer. I'm really hoping that Sheila shows up at FC and tells Carter there's only room for one Carter in Los Angeles.
  16. I'm sure you're right, Medicine, other shows just call it what it is, a repeat. I blame Gelman.
  17. During the 90's Stephanie used to lurk around the Forrester Mansion in a blond bob and orange skin. I remember Soap Opera Digest referring to her as Ridge's 'big orange momma'!
  18. Besides the fact that J is naturally smart and ambitious, the other boys have locked her out, J is her only blood relative who'll have anything to do with her (besides poor Lena). Smurf knows that J is involved in the boys' nefarious activities, J is her inside man.
  19. That's basically every line of the show or at least every line uttered by Furlong. This show is like Lisa Lampanelli, it doesn't offend certain groups, it offends everybody.
  20. It was almost like Deran was thinking 'am I that unimportant that you would put my business at risk?' Absolutely. I thought they built a replica of the church's ventilation system to practice on.
