Jesus Christ, when a drag queen breaks a bone on RuPaul's Drag Race, they send her home and promise her a slot in the next season. I hope BB follows suit with Christmas.

There are plenty of privileged people who are empathetic towards their fellow man: Warren Buffett, Bill and Melinda Gates....the list goes on. And Caitlin Jenner is doing everything she can to make sure they never have that.

Sounds like Talk Show Hell.

Word. Total lack of empathy. Word once more. The only thing more objectionable are the producers of The View giving this traitorous moron a platform. Seriously! Thanks for supporting The Orange Menace that rolled back federal protection for trans kids! Kids! The ones that need the most protection! I love your priorities! The producers should've asked Gavin Grimm to be on the panel. I used to be a huge fan of The Young and The Restless. One of their 20 year plot lines was the feud between 2 characters: Katharine Chancellor and Jill Foster. KC got plastic surgery one year, and during a heated argument JF gave KC one of her zingers. I've remembered it for a long time, but I've never had a chance to use it until now. "The next time you have cosmetic surgery, why don't you do everyone a favor and have your lips sewn shut!"

Watch What Happens Live Past Seasons

Between work and partying I doubt Andy is home all that much, and when he is, I'm sure it's the creatures of a two-legged variety that get all his attention. Andy got a rescue dog because it sounds really cool to millenials in the clubs. Personally, I love it when Wacha comes out, he tears thru the studio, gives Andy a cursory glance, then goes on his merry way! -
The 13th Doctor: S/he ain't here yet.

Thank you, that's pretty much what I was trying and failing to say. Not only did I understand what you were saying, I agree with you. I also think a Doctor whose demeanor is less frenetic and more composed might garner a different level of respect from his companion. It must be a showrunner's dream (or nightmare!) to take the reins of an existing TV phenomenon and make it uniquely their own, honoring the past while looking forward to the future. -

What Would You Do? - General Discussion
sugarbaker design replied to Meredith Quill's topic in What Would You Do?
To be fair I don't think they recognize JQ from this show, but from his many years working at ABC. There have been times JQ says he's from WWYD? and all he gets is a blank stare back. -
If someone had told me last year that Deran would be the most interesting character in Season 2, I would've laughed my ass off. But that is exactly what happened. This is a very interesting character arc, how much will he change, what old behaviors can he carry with him to go forward? Baz and Pope do not have Smurf's sense of big picture. They can plot a job, but assuming Deran would launder money through his new bar was a really stupid move.

Live With Kelly And Mark - General Discussion

I'm going to have to check it out. -
Same here. And I appreciate that. The huge storyline came to the end of a chapter, now the focus is on the B-stories (however awful they may be). It's not a writing issue, it's a production issue. They can't be on everyday! John McCook needs some days off. Back in the day of the Stephanie/Brooke fued it seemed there wasn't a day where either one of them was absent. It was like Steph and Brooke on Monday, Wednesday and Friday eps, Steph only on Tuesday and Brooke only on Thursday. Production knew who drew viewers.

Live With Kelly And Mark - General Discussion

I'm behind schedule, just watched Monday's episode this morning, pretty humdrum until Jill Kargman came on. I'm not too familiar with her, I know she has a scripted show on Bravo but I've never seen it. She absolutely killed it! Funny, self-deprecating, knows how to tell a story. My choice for funniest guest this year. -
Couldn't agree more. I was grateful it stayed focused, then it would become a pissing contest. Male actors and female actors have different challenges. Given the dearth of women directors/screenwriters/producers it seem to make sense that would be an issue for the actresses. There wasn't a weak link, each actor seemed to bring something to the table. The only problem I had was deciding who had the dreamiest accent, EMacG or RA?

No surprise here, he likes good writing, this is a well-written show.
