  1. She has another brother with mental illness who just got out of jail, Papa. :)
  2. Same here, I'm definitely leaning towards Lucy and her bro. I loved that J set up Smurf with body guards! I'm sure it was probably mentioned before, but Baz's actual name is Barry Blackwell. With a nickname like Baz I was thinking it was a short form of Sebastian.
  3. I originally thought you meant posters! But after seeing Raja's post I now see you're talking about characters.
  4. I don't hate the character of Nikki, but when you have a show with characters like Baz, Pope, Deran, Craig and Smurf, scenes with Nikki working out her high school angst seem superfluous. So the question is: who shot Baz? Is it J or is it Lucy's brother? I'm voting for Lucy and her bro. With Baz critically wounded, Craig on a sabbatical and Smurf in the pokey, there might be a little time jump when Season 3 starts. The most affecting scene of course, was Baz forgiving Pope. Was Baz really forgiving or just gaining an ally in his war with Smurf? The acting overall has been great, but Hatosy has been hitting out of the park consistently.
  5. I'm aware of that but thanks anyway, but what about the non-believer who has no interest in reading religulous texts? Shakespeare's sonnets? Thoreau's Walden?
  6. Cody was shown reading a book while he was in the house post-Jessica, so it had to be a bible (or another religious text)? What if you're an athiest or a believer without an organized religion? Doesn't sound very fair.
  7. Weren't many posters (not me) saying this about Quinn when Quinn/Eve kidnapped/raped Liam/Adam? This show does what it always does: when convenient it forgets its history. You are not alone!
  8. Has he ever had a job? Besides the fictitious role that gets paychecks from Smurf's property mgmt business, and the occasional job that is masterminded by either Smurf or Baz (where he is typically the muscle), and his brief most recent stint as a waiter on the high seas, has Craig ever worked?
  9. Didn't he also say something like 'Say bye to Granny, it's the last time you'll ever see her!'?
  10. I'm curious, does anyone know who this woman is?
  11. That's the big question. The choices the boys have is Smurf and J on one hand and Baz on the other. This is really Deran's call, as we all know Craig will do whatever Deran says. I think blood will win. They're going to side with Smurf and J leading to next season's Codys vs. Baz and Lucy storyline. I haven't mentioned Pope because I don't think he makes it out of Season 2.
  12. So we're supposed to take Cath at her word? Is she not capable of lying? There must be a reason why Baz seems to have no interest in Lena.
  13. Has anybody watched TP's The Haves and The Have Nots? The cast makes the cast of B&B look like The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. TH&THN's bring bad acting and cheap production to an all-time low. Unpopular opinion: I am loving the scenes with Sheila, James and Brooke. On a show with such low energy and bad acting, it is a joy to watch these 3 in a scene. Unpopular opinion #2: I love Wyatt and Katie together, I love it when two characters who have been constantly dumped find each other, I like the actors and their playful attitudes. I did some research, HT is 13 years younger than DD, and 8 years older than DB, so I don't get the squick factor that others do. Then again I remember Rick Forrester dating Phoebe and Steffie, two young women who a few years earlier were Rick's first cousins.
  14. Lucy saying Baz is J's father does not confirm it. She could be lying. Baz could be lying. It muddies the waters but it doesn't confirm it. Or maybe he'll leave it to her in his will.
  15. Thanks to Smurf's lawyer, we found out Baz's last name (Blackwell) and J's first (Josh).
  16. They don't remotely resemble each other in any way. They don't look like brothers.
  17. I'm not a huge fan of Andy's but most talk shows are off in August (The Talk, The View, LWK&R, WW) and don't come back til after Labor Day. To call WWHL filler TV is to demean filler TV.
  18. Then it would be a sitcom, this show isn't a sitcom. Claws is a female-centric neo-noir crime dramedy. If the finale is any indication, season 2 is going to feature the Dixie Mafia, the Russians and the Haitians. That is a lotta mobsters!
  19. From what I recall, at every party, at every event, Juanda was at UD's right side and Toby was at his left. They had an arrangement and everybody knew about it.
  20. I guess I'm the one with the Unpopular Opinion because I thought Carson's grabbiness was funny, and I thought the dudes' reaction (for the most part) was quite magnanimous.
  21. On this show sex scenes are mandatory.
  22. Baz is doing everything in his power to get rid of Smurf, only to start a life with a younger, Mexican version of ...Smurf! La Smurfetta!
