  1. The slow-burn union of St. Jasus and Britt actually has me warming to KT and her character. SB isn't going to give her much to work with and KT, bless her heart, is really selling it. I'm actually a bit interested to see where this goes. I'm also enjoying the bonding between Laura and Martin. Laura Collins is the Big Sister every guy probably doesn't even know they want or need.
  2. Jamie/Maggie were all kinds of annoying last night. The peeing in front of someone, not flushing, and not washing your hands??? Really nasty Maggie, just when I was starting to think you were kinda cute. And Jamie? Charming Brit accent or not, get some boundaries dude. Stop digging through Gary's stuff. It's beyond rude. Not a big Gary fan, but when he finds out about the ring (and he will) I hope he tosses both your sorry asses out onto the Covid-infected street.
  3. Because a lot of men are pigs. Oh Peaches - I'm not. At least I don't think so.... Not sure how to feel about this one. As a straight male I've admired the actress for awhile, and not in a sleazy way, hopefully. But the whole "you've lost the privilege of looking at it (her body)" thing sounded a bit...much.
  4. So Rome and Regina are taken in again by another "lost" youth? Most gullible adults I have ever seen. Eddie - I just can't anymore. I hope this is rock bottom for him. Katherine, clueless as she is, deserves someone better. Still not missing Delilah one bit.
  5. As a Brooklyn ex-patriot, ITA. The only hospital in the area that's worse is Brookdale, IMO. More likely her doctor would have been at Methodist, Beth Israel, or NYP Brooklyn as you pointed out. Folks like Brooke Lynne wouldn't be caught dead - literally - at Kings County Hospital. Damn it writers, use Google!!!!! Plus - BL's ginormous, oddly-shaped baby bump looks phony to me. I'm on the "it's a faaaake" team. Granny Tracy would have come up with a much better ruse.
  6. You know what would be a hoot? If "Mike" ended up sleeping with Nina and knocking her up. (Running for my life now).
  7. I think Valerie Bertinelli would be the perfect replacement if this show continues. Word is that Regis Philbin wanted Valerie to replace Kathie Lee back in the day and ABC over-ruled him. Kelly Ripa supposedly got wind of this and never really forgave him. Or so the story goes.
  8. Actually, I'm happy to see Martin as one of the few Port Chuckles men that aren't hooked up, even though MEK has turned into a silver fox. Even more interesting, what if they turned Martin into a character that...wasn't into the ladies? On another note, I had never been a Valentin fan, but JPS really has me warming up to the character. Having him surgically removed from Nina's rectum was a big part of it, but as another poster noted, Valentin/JPS really seems to enjoy being around people and it shows. He interacts more frequently, and more effortlessly, with other characters than anyone else on the canvas.
  9. A thought occurred to me the other day - five episodes in and no one has mentioned Cousin Kara. Interesting.
  10. Yep, it's all that filler and botox. And her eyes are crazier than Kelly Thiebaud's lol.
  11. After today I've concluded that we're stuck with LWB until...he's no longer LWB.
  12. This season got off to a great start for about three episodes and now its back to the same old crap. I'll give it one or two more episodes and if nothing changes for the better, I'm out. Really wanted to like this show. Nothing that happened last night had a semblance of reality, other than Covid's impact and Maggie's situation, both of which were depressing. Just realized that the male leads are nice too look at (I guess) for female viewers, but other than that they're different shades of sad. I can only hope there's some redemption somewhere down the line, but who the heck knows? And there are also times where there's a little too much reality...I'm almost 60 years old and really didn't need to learn how chemically-induced abortions work...I kept changing the channel every time Maggie came onscreen because I felt so uncomfortable.
  13. Yes, absolutely! They seemed much more like a couple in love and it was great. I hope we get more of that in the future.
  14. I actually saw the Thunderclap coming and grinned like crazy - it was the only way to dispatch Kilgore and his minions quickly. IMO, it's the coolest of the super-powers (love it when the Hulk does it too in the comics) and I'm happy the writers don't over-use that trick the way they often do with heat-vision and freeze breath. Has anyone else noticed that Clark uses his powers much more efficiently in fights than Cousin Kara?
  15. Spare me 🙄 Technical Sonny is a Greek/Latino savior. But tiresome (TM Helena Cassadine) under any circumstances. I'm still catching up on the episodes, but came back to do a little more Frisco bashing. Remember when the actress that plays Britt had a leg injury and they wrote it into the show as the result of a random accident? She and Maxie had beef back then, and Frisco was around for some reason. Britt ran into Frisco and she blamed him for the accident. Frisco pretty much confirmed it, smirking and saying "I get paid to kill bad guys." Well Frisco, Henrich is bad, bad, bad. And getting worse. Why, oh why is HE still breathing? And by the way, Luke? The a-hole who put your daughter in a coma is still lurking around making her mother's life miserable. You can't spend a few days away from Amsterdam and put an end to Cyrus? Oh, if I only wrote this show...
  16. Probably one of the better episodes of the season, overall. Scott Galloway is everyone's favorite professor from college, the one whose enrollment quickly fills up. Intelligent and thought-provoking - a "woke" guy with real facts to back-up his argument. You gotta love it! The Annabelle Gurwitch chat was another opening segment I didn't get - Bill seems to use this spot now just to shoot-the-shit with old buddies. As he himself said, most of us had cheap, shitty apartments right out of college, Annabelle's insights weren't exactly epiphanies.
  17. THIS. And on top of that, I'm ready to see Peter GO. It's been a very long time since such a mediocre bad guy has lingered this long. LWB or not, it's really time to say adios.
  18. I was actually hoping that the writers would surprise us by having Jill NOT sleep with Rod, but no such luck. As another poster said, nearly zero growth on Jill's part, it's gotten old, she's a one-trick pony. And...does anyone else think Jill would sleep with Adam if she thought she could somehow get away with it?
  19. Forget about standing on the sidelines as the WSB did nothing about Peter. He stood on the sidelines knowing that his daughter was going to marry Peter who was being investigated by the WSB. Frisco was a shit father to start, but he seemed to be reading her the riot act over the phone, like he had any right to do that. Then he hung up on her. Take a fucking seat Frisco. I'll always cherish Frisco and Felicia as one of GH's last great super-couples, but now he just seems like a gigantic ass. As long as he's head of the WSB, I'm more than happy just hearing about that organization and not seeing them. Frisco is damn sure NO Anna, Robert or Sean, couldn't even carry their water decently.
  20. Love the new Geico commercial with the lady biker and garage workers singing "Build Me Up Buttercup." Just tack any old classic 50s, 60s, or 70s tune into a commercial and you've pretty much got me. Then I go to YT and play the whole darn song, lol.
  21. Well, looks like I was wrong. To quote the Squire of Gothos, Franco is clearly "dead, dead, dead."
  22. You have always fascinated me, GHScorpiosRule! I actually get the Jock and Bobby Ewing thing, even as a male. They were both very good looking chaps. Interesting dreams indeed. Going way out on a limb and making what might seem to be a crazy prediction but....Franco's not dead. This is actually part of an elaborate scheme, involving a lot of folks, to get that old Master Schemer/Teflon Dude Peter August. Think about it...Franco's a pretty intelligent chap, why would he tie Peter's hands so poorly AND leave his gun within reach? It just doesn't track. I wouldn't be surprised if St. Jasus wasn't in on the plan as well. It would be very old school GH...how many times did Laura or some other character fake their deaths?
  23. In fact it was a little bit frightening. But they fought with expert timing.😆
  24. So happy to hear this. I've been a big America Ferrera fan ever since "Real Women Have Curves." She appears to be such a smart, authentic person. I believe she has an incredible future ahead of her either behind the camera or maybe even in politics.
  25. To coin an old saying - if Bonnie is the wise old sage in your group, then you need a new group.
