  1. This may sound petty, but just for the violation of hacking his phone, I hope Jax gets it together and rains down a veritable shitstorm (TM Johnny Sack) on Snarly and Jasus, starting with engineering the sudden disappearance of Jar Jar Binks. I know if ain't gonna happen, but a guy can dream, right? No. No she's not, but Ava's always been very lovely in an nontraditional, timeless kind of way. Her outfit today was very nice, and I seldom notice those kinds of things.
  2. Why the GH mob story is so gummy bear. Tony Soprano would have owned it. Absolutely. Me too, but I imagine that they're a lot of work. Coming from an African American family, I've been watching my Cousins braid their hair for years. It's actually quite soothing to watch. In other news, although he's taking a lot of heat now, Nicholas was absolutely right. Hope he continues to be unrepentant. Gotta say, outside of Nixon Fails, GH has been pretty good lately.
  3. That was an amazing scream worthy of any horror movie I've ever seen. Anyone remember this classic Boy Meets World episode: Classic Screamers
  4. True dat. This sad remake of "I know What You Did Last Summer" isn't cutting it. And the writers are trolling us so hard with the character's reference to horror movies. It's almost like they want us to know that they're in on the joke. It's hard to believe that some 20 years ago KeMo was ranked as one of the most beautiful women in the world. I want to like her for old time's sake, but her acting choices makes it difficult.
  5. In all fairness, Paris did make an effort to cover the girls up. While I'm a huge admirer of such things, they're so, um, long.... She'll be tripping over them by the time she's 50, methinks.
  6. Jeez, now I'm worried that SMike and Nina are meant to be long term. Honestly, other than Brender, none of Sonny's romantic pairings have worked for me.
  7. I started greying in my early 30s, so I can relate. Steve Martin and Michael McDonald were always my Heroes, making the premature Grey thing look really, really cool.
  8. It almost appeared like she was auditioning for a sitcom. In all honesty, due to the similar appearances and speaking styles, for a moment I though she was Anna Marie Horsford. True. I don't ever remember any other RT panelist having less of a chance to participate. It was like the Donna and Bill Comedy Hour with a little politics mixed in.
  9. Even funnier that at least three out of the four are virgins (it is possible that "Mr. Continental" Spencer has gotten laid overseas), and all Spencer can talk about is a night of "epic bad behavior." What does that even mean, drinking your milkshakes without straws?
  10. They actually might. It's the easy way for them to go, as opposed to Sonny picking up right where he left off. It would be so much better for him to reject his old life and start fresh once his memories come back. If TIIC and MB were thoughtful and honest, the "Sonny as Mob Boss" concept really doesn't have anything new to offer. Look at the Cyrus Renault S/L, it was an immediate bust and when Sonny was still in Port Chuckles he barely moved the needle. By the way, doesn't it look like Mike is going to devour Nina's face each time they kiss? I'm guessing MB hasn't had a romantic interest of the same height in so long he's forgotten how to kiss a woman he doesn't have to look up to.
  11. Seems like once each episode Awesome Writer gets to have one character say exactly what we've all been thinking for years. Love it!
  12. To add further clarity, Courtney Matthews was Sonny's (half?) sister, and that's how Spencer is Sonny's nephew. Gag.
  13. One of the best Gilmore Girls episodes evah. Hoping for another revival so we can see what's new with the Stars Hollows gang. Methinks Lorelei and Luke will never get married. In GH news, Carly and St. Jasus are really getting on my nerves. And Nixon Fails (every single day) always brings this show to a grinding halt. Also, as other posters have noted, it doesn't seem like Lenny and Phyllis have any family or friends besides SMike and Nina. Very odd.
  14. Reminds me of an old Erykah Badu quote. Someone once asked her "so you're wearing your hair natural now?" Erykah's response was: "Natural? You mean the way it grows out of my head?"
  15. They really are cute together. And the unrestrained PDA was hilarious - as was Britta's reaction to it. Nice to see a mature couple in love. One of the things that keeps me tied to GH is that we have at least three "root-able" couples: Laura and Kevin, Liz and Finn, and Liesel & Scotty. Btw, saw an old Love Boat episode with Kin Shriner last week. Amazing how his mannerisms and acting style haven't changed one bit over the decades - he talked with his hands in 1977 too.
  16. Agreed. I wretched when Olivia asked Ned "So was all of that just to impress me?" Lady, you had a baby with Mooby. Does it really take that much to impress you?
  17. She's not on the show, but hello! Robin! Maxie, (even though she's acting not so smart these days, but understandable). Thanks for that GHScorpiosRule! I like them both, especially adorable Robin, but yeah. Maxie has been so ba-ba-booey these days she fell off my radar.
  18. Even as a straight guy I've gotta admit DZ is a good-looking young man. It amazes me how none of the Qs or anyone else in Willow's orbit doesn't see that this woman needs counseling. Would love to see the little turd brought down a few pegs. Jeez, other than Elizabeth and Dante are any of the offspring of legacy characters not horrible people???? ETA - Ned is basically ok, so maybe it's not all bad.
  19. Definitely not vanilla. A vanilla shake or cone with some sprinkles or chocolate topping can make one smile. The SLS and his wanna-be Stepford wife certainly do not.
  20. I have never heard anything about this. I am going to have to read up on it. Oh it was a pretty big thing pre-Covid. Here's an article from the New York Times: Neil deGrasse Tyson Keeps Job Despite Sexual Harassment Allegations
  21. Yeah, you can't convince me that at least one of the writers doesn't visit these boards at least occasionally. That whole "vanilla" thing was just too specific.
  22. Also, with all the media coverage around Cuomo and his sexual harassment issues I don't see any scenario where having Tavis Smiley as a guest is a good idea. Yeah, I know Neil De Grasse Tyson was accused of bad behavior towards women too, but he seems to have gotten off the hook somehow.
  23. Not sure about the time-line, but I wonder if Darren Starr was preoccupied with the SATC re-boot. It's been a long time since a show has fallen apart like this in its final season. But it was time to wrap this up anyways. As another poster stated elsewhere the entire cast, even Kelsey, look much more, uh, mature now. Looking closely at Liza with my unforgiving, HD, big screen TV, it's hard to imagine now that she could ever passed for 26. "Younger" indeed. Guess the concept was never meant to last much longer than it has, although SF is still holding up really well.
  24. Not a spoiler, just a hunch: Jax is going to get a job as a Professor at Joss's college so he can keep an eye on her. The way Ingo played it, you could almost see the idea written across his face as it came to him.
  25. Based on tomorrow's preview St. Jasus handles Joey Novak in the softest way possible. GH writers, if you're reading this, check out how a real gangsta, Tony Soprano handled a similar issue (note- not for the faint of heart): Don't mess with Meadow Soprano
