He was a guest on 'Wendy Williams' last week, promoting the upcoming SATC reunion movie. He didn't look like he's aged well the past couple of years, and he was his annoying self where I had to FF the interview. I'm glad he's off 'The View' for the past few seasons.

Another dull, boring day at 'The View' - the vaccine (again), Brittney Spears (again), the woman who wants to go to Mexico without her fiance (who cares?) and other BS to waste away an hour of airtime until Sunny did an infomercial for an editor who works for Amazon. Looks like the regular producer of the show is already on summer vacay and a first-level intern is filling in this week ? Please, ABC, send them all off on vacation NOW!

Well, it won't be Jerry O' Connell replacing McCain. He was officially announced today as being Sharon's replacement on 'The Talk'. I guess 'The Talk' just wants to remain in last place at this point, and be done with it. Good news is - O'Connell won't be a regular fill-in guest on 'The View' any longer. Actually, that's great news.

She mentioned her bestie SE Cupp a few times in her response. Said how she looks up to her, and that they share the same political ideologies, etc. I wonder if she's hinting that Cupp will be replacing her or should be replacing her ? I said earlier Cupp would be a rather interesting woman to cohost once McCain leaves.

I think he was a good actor during the Wendy interview, as he seemed pretty neutral about his experience. I wonder what she will say on her show tomorrow about his joining, and why he didn't say anything on her show. We shall see if he lasts a whole season next year, or even if the show lasts a whole season.

Jerry was a guest on 'Wendy' last week, and she asked him about being on 'The Talk' the past few months. He didn't sound like he was joining the show, and it didn't sound like he really enjoyed his time there. Wendy did her usual stab at trying to get more dirt on the show, which you can tell he had, but he didn't want to get involved.

I said a few weeks ago, they have all run out of gas. Now they are struggling to reach the finish line (end of July) before they all take a much needed hiatus. It shows every day - neither the cast wants to be there every morning at 11 am, and neither do we, the viewers.

They made it so obvious that she wasn't participating in the conversation. Makes one wonder if it was by her choice or if they had no interest in her opinion - maybe it should have been acknowledged that she had Tweeted about this earlier ? It wasn't handled properly.

Yup - really into stereotyping for someone who believes he's so 'woke'. Definitely seems insecure and jealous. Maybe guys like these were the 'school yard bully' to him when he was growing up ? Thanks for this explanation - for the life of me, I couldn't grasp what he said was his reasoning for putting him up as a nominee. This makes sense. No wonder he took Kylund by surprise.

I guess Frenchie, surrounded by so many good looking well-built dudes in the house, is quite a bit jealous of each of them. He knows the girls are going to pair up with them and certainly not him once his reign of HOH is over. He'll be afloat with no one else in his boat. So naturally, he wants to call them 'meatheads' and target them. Of course it's going to backfire. What did he mean by his putting up Kylund during his word-salad at the end ? Is he using him as a 'pawn', or does he really want him out ?

I agree. She's so out of her league in serious discussions on this panel. I can't believe no one picked up on that ridiculous comment about billionaires helping us with our tax code - if it were MeAgain saying that, the other four would've been all over her. I guess with Sara, they choose to ignore her - let her just fade off into the sunset. Her talent is limited to working the garage sale with Gretchen on 'View Your Deal'. Anything else, she's way out of bounds. Wonder why everyone got to comment on Valerie Bertinelli's response to weight loss EXCEPT McCain ? The other four talked about their weight issues and what worked and didn't work for them. When they cut to McCain, she talked about what she did this weekend. I guess she told them in the morning meeting 'don't you dare include me in the weight loss conversation' ?

I bet you Meghan buys all that folk-art patriotic crap from Rustic Marlin that Adam Glassman was pushing. She's going to order everything with the name "McCain" on it. She will keep that company in business for decades to come. Curious why those readers are perfect 'for the hair salon' ? Poor Glassman - his forehead no longer moves, his mouth barely opens. Way too much botox and fillers for him.

I'll go by her wording - she was very clear in what she said. She mentioned nothing about paying fair share of taxes (that's a stretch to try to understand it that way), she said clearly 'putting them in a room together and helping us with our tax codes'. She apparently missed the past four years. I'm sure if she meant 'paying their fair share of taxes' she would have said those words at some point. Those aren't difficult words to say.

Did Sara just ask Dr. Bessler about booster shots right after he went into a lengthy answer about booster shots with Meghan's question and covered everything about booster shots ? 😕 It's like she's not particpating in the same show. He repeated his answer to her that he just told Meghan. OK - let's say that she's reading her questions off of index cards, written for her before the interview. Are the writers setting her up to look stupid ?

I think her statement 'putting billionaires in a room and helping us with our tax codes' is meant as leadership. If there was something else she was getting at, we wouldn't have to get them all in a room together. If she meant helping financially, they could do it on their own - not gather in a room. As I said, Sara is a fish out of water on this show. She needs to go to QVC and get excited over reusable straws.

WTH? Sara said she wishes these 'billionaires would help us with our tax codes and other things we're dealing with on the ground here'. Has she been in a coma since 2016? 'Billionaire' Trump was the President for four years, and initially filled his cabinet (and other top positions) with his 'billionaire' and 'millionaires' CEO friends. How did that turn out for the 'tax codes' ? It made the wealthy even wealthier. Has Sara forgotten this ? They talked about it for four years on the show. We had three 'billionaires' running for the Democratic Presidential candidate in 2020, and none of them got far because American voters didn't want them in government. Was Sara not present in 2020 when they all were interviewed by her and her cohorts ? I said it before, and I'll say it again - Sara is way out of her league on this show. Yes, she is. Sunny is out.

Maybe Gretchen can move from 'VYD' and become a permanent host on the show and replace MeAgain? Or maybe the totally wooden Adam Glassman ?

I do hope once Meghan leaves, the show doesn't suffer the same fate as 'The Talk' since Sharon left four months ago. Sharon, like Meghan, was much despised on that show. It was evident every day just here on PRIMETIMER's 'The Talk' forum, where everyone said they couldn't wait for her to leave or get fired from the show - she was horrible to watch. Like Meghan on this forum, Osborne was called a 'witch' and every other name you could think of. Like here, everyone wanted the network to get rid of her. (I was never a fan of hers in any capacity, but wouldn't wish someone out of a job - so I hardly tuned in). So the network fired her back in March, after her on-air argument with her cohost. And what happened ? The show has lost 14% of viewers in the past four months since she's been gone. It's locked into last place, compared to other daytime shows. It's been renewed for another season - but no one knows what the format will be in September, as rumors are flying. Let's hope for the other hosts McCain leaves behind, this doesn't happen here.

Again, I'm not seeing anywhere where John McCain asked Whoopi to convince her to join the show . They all agreed he asked Whoopi and Sunny to 'help toughen her up' for what lied ahead once she accepted the job - and what lied ahead was his impending death , her starting a family, and what else is on the horizon. Unless I'm missing something in past commentary and interviews - I'm not finding anything where it was stated her father was instrumental on her joining the show. Especially not in her announcement the other day where other forum members told me 'she said it' then. Never happened.

I'm disappointed there's no "View Your Deal" on Monday's show. I guess ABC cleared out it's garage of junk to pass on to the viewers for the season ? Will they refill the garage for next season ?

I wonder if the fact that those months covered one of the most important presidential elections in history had anything to do with ABC not ditching politics at that time, and ratings not dropping ? We may never know for sure.
