  1. I didn't need to see the photo of her breastfeeding Liberty the day she returned to an ABC studio. I was shocked she didn't have a picture of MyFather on the countertop in front of her. MeAgain also said she's surprised we're in the 21st Century and we're no further along in childcare / maternity care. No one asked her what MyFather did to push this forward in all the years he was in the Senate ?
  2. RayJ is the one who had (allegedly) an affair with Whitney Houston when she divorced Bobby Brown and for some reason it made the 'gossip sites' because she was older than him. (Who cares?) I guess if it's true about him and Wendy (I doubt it) he likes older women - and older women like him ?
  3. Someone must've told Sheryl the 'fat over-sexed black woman' stereotype was already claimed by Sherrie Shepherd on 'The View' for laughs, so she had to change her character as host. So she went into her serious, NPR hosting duties so everyone will take her serious. Did this change come when the other NPR host (Sara) left this sinking ship ? CAI needs to go back to DWTS and stay there.
  4. So she wants to talk about men's penis sizes again, thinking 4" is enough to please her, but her guest rather have the full 7" penis. Lovely. Again - picture a male TV host on daytime TV talking about the size of a women's breast with another male guest, and what sizes please them sexually. What would be the consequences ? (And if she really wants to talk penis size, include Norman in on the conversation and let him do a 'show and tell' for us.) She believes Jussie Smollet is 'innocent' because he has a story which explains how he got all caught up in the 'fame' of celebrity. In that case, everyone is innocent of every crime they commit because everyone can tell a story of how they got 'caught up' in the wrong circumstances. Last, she said more than once she doesn't like people who speak 'broken English'. The ones who speak broken English are usually immigrants, in which English isn't their first language, and often times not their second or even third. SO does she have an issue with those people who speak Ebonics, ghetto, and hip-hop / thug ? Or just broken English from immigrants ? How does this woman have a show ?
  5. Megamouth wonders why people get so 'triggered' when she mentions MyFather ? It's not an audience being triggered - it's an audience being bored. After she shared the 'Christmas morning story told by MyFather', I was hoping Joy would pipe up and respond, "Oh you poor thing. Christmas should be a day of rejoicing and happiness. Not one of depression. That's awful your father punished you like that." Did anyone else catch Sara's goog about standing up an honoring the 'fag' ? She quickly said 'flag' right after. Atta girl, Sara !
  6. What a dull, boring show - and that was just the first twenty minutes ! I delted it from my DVR right after the luke-warm topics. I knew they were going to start with the building collapse, because they kicked off the show with the 'solemn music', not the 'World's gone crazy!' (which is actually more appropriate for when a building collapses like that). Then we move on to 'Mumford and Sons' and 'Courtney Love' ? Please - leave that for 'The Talk'. Stick to more relevant, interesting topics like we're used to listening to on the show. As I said last week, this show needs an extended vacation. They're just treading in dull waters these days.
  7. Wendy's show has been renewed until the 14th season, I believe. She made the announcement last summer. I believe they renewed her for three more seasons last year (2021,22,23).
  8. These two are the most transparent of the four. Sheryl was never like this in the first few season when I would tune in very occasionally. However, it seems like as she has climbed higher on the ladder, she has become deceitful and condescending towards the other women as well as the guests. She's not a team player - she's not there for the success of the show. She's there for herself only. CAI is way too over-dramatic for this inane chatfest. I always get the feeling she's auditioning to be cast in a movie or TV show, and wants to showcase what a good actress she can be if given the chance - look, everyone ! She can cry on cue !
  9. If TPTB were smart, they would spin Norman off onto his own talk show. The guy is personable, knowledgeable, funny as Hell (when she gives him a few minutes) and incredibly attractive. He could have a hit show on his hands, and move away from this mess.
  10. S5-E1 did not disappoint in any way ! It dealt with the past 15 months, gave two appropriate good-byes to two cast members who will be very missed, and ended a few storylines which slowed down last season (Memo 618 , and Adrian Boseman's affair with the the Judge). I'm hoping this is a sign that the series is back on track again for season 5. And yes, the credits were adorable...a nice nod to the new Biden presidency.
  11. Thank You everyone - I thought this was a new episode with the always-boring Stamos.
  12. Acting gigs ? You mean her migraine headache ads where she just smiles and nods her head - all in slow motion ? Maybe MegaMouth is the one giving her migraines each day, so she jumped at the chance to do the commercial without pay - just a lifetime supply of medication.
  13. Oh, great ! John Stamos makes another appearance on the show. It's been what...at least a month since he was on last ? Can't wait to catchy up on his life with him (sigh). Yeah...this is a week to to (maybe) watch the Hot Topics and then hit delete from the DVR. (But I will stay tuned for VYD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
  14. How many more weeks until they go on summer vacation ? 5 ? You can tell they're into the homestretch for this season. They're all tired, they're all boring - the show this week has been a snoozefest. The show this season has been a snoozefest ! Ladies, time to pack your suitcases and go relax somewhere - anywhere. Get out of your environment and go on vacation. When you come back in September, hopefully a nice new set awaits you and a live audience again. (Though I don't really miss the audience distracting their conversations with inappropriate clapping and laughter). You all need a refresher. I dread slogging through this for July.
  15. IMO, Underwood has really worn out her run in this show. Pay close attention, and you will see she's very condescending to the other women and the guests on this show. Especially when she talks to them slowly in her soft, soothing NPR voice. (Watch her confrontation with Osbourne back in March, and you will see what I mean). Carrie Ann is too scripted and phony for this show - you know exactly when the first tear drop is going to fall during a conversation, as it's well rehearsed and well scripted. It's hard to be empathetic with her, when in the back of the viewer's mind you're thinking "Geez...here we go again...she's going to cry." She can only pull that stunt for so long, and it's well-expired. As for Elaine and Amanda - the reaction is 'who are they' ? They add nothing to this show. Nothing at all (although Kloots does have a pretty good theatrical speaking voice, so maybe they can keep her on behind the scenes to do the 'voice overs'). Again, it's time for CBS to clean house this summer. Sweep away and hose down this mess. Start from scratch, find new names, find a focus. At this point, you can't even say they're an imitation of 'The Real', never mind 'The View'.
  16. On Thursday's show, Wendy had one of the 'Real Housewives' on as a guest. I think her name was Nicole ? Anyhow, Nicole was talking about an episode where the fellow RH threw her a bachelorette party and there was a male stripper there (they then put the photo of the male stripper up behind the two). Wendy then proceeds to ask Nicole a description of his penis - the size, the girth, etc. ON TELEVISION. Nicole gives her the details of his penis - size, girth, etc. - and the two of them decide to critique his penis on air, with his photo showing behind them. (Wendy commented it would be too big for her to 'enjoy' intimately). ON TELEVISION. So let's take a step back...can you imagine if any daytime (or nighttime) male host of a talk show today had another male guest on, and the guest mentioned his friends threw him a bachelor party with a female stripper ? And the male host had a picture of the female stripper behind them, and asked the guest to give a complete description of the woman's breasts and vagina ? On television ? And then the two critiqued her anatomy - on television - with her picture being show to the audience ? And then the male host would say her anatomical parts would not be enjoyable to him if they were intimate ? I doubt very much the male host or his celebrity guest would have a career this morning. How this woman gets away with saying such things is beyond me. And how those show employees encourage and enable her to say such things about another person's anatomy (they all laughed along and clapped) is shameful. Not one has the decency to walk off the show when she talks so degrading like this ? Where is their integrity ?
  17. Nice to see that you have been supporting this movie. Too bad others haven't done the same - the box office lost 63% in its second weekend. It only grossed $2M overseas in two weekends. WB and LMM most likely have written this off as a 'flop'. It will never break even, never mind be profitable.
  18. Thanks everyone ! I googled more info on him and WW, and found out that he left the show, worried about her recurring drug use, etc. and the fact that her 'team' was enabling her. He no longer wanted to be a part of this mess:
  19. Who is Boof ? I came to the party late - I've only been watching her the past few months. Any links to any articles on this Boof and his connection to Wendy ?
  20. IF a male cohost on a show made the 'endzone' joke like Joy did today, he'd be fired this evening. As much as I like Joy, I'm angry to think she can get away with what she said by a faux apology. She lowered herself to Sharon Osborne humor on 'The Talk' - and that's very low.
  21. I guess Wendy doesn't understand that the paparazzi hang out in front of every celebrity's NYC apartment building each and every day, or in front of the studio where the TV shows are being recorded. That's their job. When 'The View' was live in their studio (pre-Covid) the paparazzi used to wait for Whoopi to enter / exit her limo. Same with Joy, Rosie and the other co-hosts. Barbara Walters, along with others, used to cross Central Park each day to go to the ABC studio from her apartment, and back. More than once she had said paparazzi would follow in behind her (sometimes in front of her). You're not that special, Wendy.
  22. ...she's as boring as Hell. She makes 'Eve' seem entertaining, and we all know 'Eve' brought a whole new degree of 'boring' to the show. Since CBS has decided to take a gamble and give this show another chance at life for next season, they really need to clean house and get rid of all these hosts.
  23. Yes, she went to Catholic schools (which teaches Catholocism to their students). I believe she once said her mother was raised Catholic, and she followed her mother's religion. The Jo Biden hot topic was a complete non-issue, never mind non-hot topic. It was really a 'who cares' discussion. I DVR'd the show, so I was lucky enough to FF through Drew Barrymore. But I got to enjoy VYD over and over and over again, thanks to my rewind button !
  24. By the way, the box office results are already in for Friday (6/18) and Saturday (6/19) - 'In the Heights' has fallen 60% from last weekend's dismal showing of less than $12M. With a $55M budget, this film is an official 'flop'. I'm sure this doesn't sit well with Whoopi, Ana or Sunny. Looks like Ana and Sunny is not reaching 'their' community with 'good word of mouth' for the movie they love.
