I still haven't come into terms with the show ending, I'm still very sad it is

Here's one of the few untitled tracks I'm looking for, this plays four times in the episode Beloved Aunt, I ripped the track and put it on my channel: I'm not sure if it's an original track or stock, it is some weird late 90's sounding accordion/electronic keyboard sounding cue so it's highly unlikely that it had lyrics if it wasn't an OST.

Not having Ghandi in the reboot is a no brainer, it's what got the show cancelled to begin with. The new voices sound off in this reboot, especially cleo.

Damn, now we'll never know who Carly's mom is or what she looks like. It was a dick move for them to end the season with a cliffhanger, knowing that they'd run the risk of being cancelled before they got a chance to tie any loose ends.

My least favorite episode of the season, they should've done more with Frank playing Chess. The reverse Dennis system also took up too much of the episode, the delivery wasn't as good as the original bit done in season 5.

McElhenney looks a lot younger without his facial hair.

I think the new season is only gonna have 8 episodes.

I like how (assuming the show end with a 10 episode twelfth season). The show will have 60 SD episodes and 60 HD episodes, which perfectly splits the show in half.

Yeah that wouldn't be a good look on Larry's part. I wonder what kind of in-show reason they would have to kill Jeff off. We need Sussie in the new season too, Jeff was kind of there so it wouldn't be the end of the world if there were no Jeff, but the show would feel very empty without Sussie telling Larry to "get the fuck out of my house!!!!". Goldbergs was already on it's last legs when they kicked Jeff off last year and now it will officially end after this season (filming probably wrapped up by now). Larry's up there in age, so I can't imagine the show lasting much longer. This is the forth season that we've had since the show got revived.

An underrated classic. Every season was excellent. Love the dynamic between Malcolm, Dewey, and Reese. Was a shame that Francis didn't end up making something of himself after he got fired from Otto. There was a slight dip when Jamie was born shortly after the halfway point of the series, but that's to be expected. Later seasons were less grounded (and a little more mean spirited). The finale while not much, was perfect for a show like this, and wrapped everything up nicely.

Kind of late since I just recently finished the series but to save time, I'm gonna give my thoughts on just the final season.

I don't have linear TV, I only have streaming. I'm only able to watch SVU with the current package of Hulu I have. Regular Law and Order requires extra payment. I haven't had linear TV since 2015. I can get regular Law and Order on DVD.

The show was never the same after they left. It's been a while since I've seen normal Law and Order, I wonder if the quality dip was as bad as SVU's.

The comedian was an asshole, good god I wanted to punch him in his smug ugly face. It was extremely obvious from the start that this guy was in fact a rapist. The female audience members should've had enough common sense not to laugh at his jokes. Not only was he insensitive to such a touchy subject, none of his jokes really had punchlines. It was more like "rape this" "hehehehe" "rape that", pretty much only jokes a 15 year old incel would find funny (trust me I knew quite a few of those guys in high school who would find that shit funny and they're easy to spot from a mile away, just from their sense of humor alone). He was outright dehumanizing to women. Him changing and flashing his little Irish wee-wee in front of Benson should've been enough to put him in handcuffs. Not to mention the whole cliché of comedians never being serious, it's played to the point where it's obnoxious and unrealistic. Considering the fact that this guy was so comfortable making jokes that vulgar should've raised a red flag. I just find it a cop out on the writer's end to make him a rapist since it was already so obvious from the start. Josh absolutely raped Carly, we know this. When you're drunk, your sense of judgement is depleted and your sex drive increases. Josh took advantage of that and swooped down. I also cringed at how Josh acted in court. Josh is gonna have a real good time when it's shower time in prison, he'll become his material. The scene where Josh attempted to rape Renee was too hard for me to watch. When he forced her to stay in the room after she said no more than once, that enough already crossed the line. There is no thin line between "oh just playing" around and rape. I miss when SVU fooled the audience and had a lot of plot twits, or would find clever ways to distract the audience, now it's not the case, the show has really dipped in quality once Stabler and Carrigan left. The recording of Josh attempting to rape Renne was enough evidence to send him to prison, I don't care if it was a setup, he would've done the same thing if there was no camera on her glasses. Mediocre episode 4/10.

I rewached the episode and I didn't care about the side plot with Benson and Rollins, it should've been in an entirely different episode, I guess they tried to shoehorn that in to make sure they met the network's standard of a 44 minute slot . I'm not conversative but good God the virtue signaling in this episode was out of control. Especially with how they went to an unrealistic extreme with John's toxic masculinity. It was so obvious that John was the one who did the rape, since he softly said to his son "You'll learn", when he didn't want to kill the rabbit. I hated seeing the rabbit suffering too, I couldn't look at it without cringing, and the sound of it's neck cracking when John killed it made my skin crawl, at least that part was shown offscreen. Once they found the semen in Sam's underwear, it was a wrap. The evidence was too specific for it to be a coincidence, Sam's reactions to Fin questioning him about the rape should've already raised a red flag. Need I say more about that? Brian calling Sam a pussy was low hanging fruit to sidetrack the audience from knowing that John was the actual suspect, and when you pull too hard, you kind of make the clues more obvious leaving us with another reason why the episode was so predictable. Sam was stupid for pulling a Call of Duty black opps side mission on the school. I understand that his father raped him, but of course we pull a cliche and Dominick convinces Sam not to self-delete after he performed the school pow pow. Sam should've committed suicide anyway since he had a high chance of being in prison for life after he fired up the school. Let's just say for Sam's sake, he better hope that hell isn't a real thing, because being dead would've been a lot better than what's to come for him after he's in custody. Did it ever cross Sam's mind that if he shot up the school, what his father did to him is going to happen to him in prison as well. I get that people have impaired judgement during instances of extreme emotions, but I feel like he had enough time to think that through since it was somewhat premeditated and not fully instantaneous. Why would he also think his father "loves him", if he was raped....twice by him, why would Sonny's words be enough to sway Sam out of commit suicide? Seems like another way to make sure the episode clocks in standard time. If Sam did end up committing suicide they would've been able to pull that off with the episode length they had, even with the abortion side plots in tact and yes, I agree that this episode had everyone repeating the same things over and over. What was the point of Olivia knocking over that woman on the bike, it didn't further the plot, was that another piece of low hanging fruit to keep everyone in suspense. Ultimately, that small plot point ended up giving me apprehensive epididymal hypertension instead. Again, could've been another element to add into a completely different episode since that tidbit did nothing to further the plot. Sam should've gotten mentally evaluated since he drunk alcohol and snapped during all the interrogations, it's pretty clear that he has PTSD from John molesting him. Especially since this isn't the first time it happened. It was a second degree murder. I think a 25 year sentence would've been fair due to the unique circumstances, having a shit father isn't an excuse for what he did, there are plenty of people who had shit fathers that do the right thing and seek help, instead of shooting up a school. Sam's mental state at that point was perplexing, as much as I think it was dumb of him to do what he did, something still tells me he wasn't of sound mind when he did it, considering the snapping and the small hints of Stockholm syndrome that occurred earlier in the episode. Overall thoughts, 4/10. Mediocre episode. Not suspenseful enough, the entire situation was too simplistic, and I get it was a Lawyer's job to plead the defendant's case, but c'mon, if it already too late when Sam snapped during the interrogations, it was already too late when John's semen was found in the underwear. We were better off not having this episode exist.

Grown ish seems to be more interesting than Black ish. The stakes here are higher most of the time, Black ish seemed to always play it safe. Black ish also got very stale in it's later seasons.

Didn't Dee play one of Larry's girlfriends in the tenth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm?

I initially thought the fourth season was going to be it's last because that was Zoe's senior year.

Damm, that's a shame. But since there's no more Witherspoon, I'd rather have no reboot at all than have them screw everything up completely.

I can't tell whether or not this series was cel animated or digitally colored. I've seen animation cells for it online, but the show itself doesn't have the same visual artifacts typically seen in programs that utilize that method. Same thing applies for the fact that they used CGI backgrounds from time to time.

Glad they finally decided to put a cap on Black-ish, things started to get very stale, especially towards the end. It was time to wrap everything up once and for all.
