I'm just amazed that Sunny equated how much money a person's worth with how intelligent they are.

These people are really bad spies.

Just starting this episode but already I'm annoyed. Her backstory should be hard grained into her, not a talk as she's driving there. What she's studying should be REAL, she is actually studying it. Just because someone can take a beating doesn't mean they would be good for this act - she should be educated, sophisticated, TRAINED. And why are Joe and Nicole Kidman talking about secret stuff in a public place? Oh, and then she tells the guy outside that she can't talk about things on a public street. This kind of stuff really pulls me out of the story. And she pulls up to a very rich person's house and the guy asks if she has any bags and she says, "Just one. I can get it." Seriously, she's pretending to be rich. They wouldn't do that.

Ah, that makes more sense, I guess. Thank you. And I just realized Sophie was named after her because her refusal to let him on saved his life.

I didn't remember that he should have been on one of the flights. I thought maybe that was it, but it didn't make sense because they're trying to tell me he missed a flight and was still there when it went down? That makes NO sense whatsoever. Plus, these people all have money based on their lifestyle and Danny is going to try to sob story a COFFIN SALESWOMAN? Come ON! And Rome and Eddie... Asking someone to do something illegal loudly, in front of everyone? Seriously? They're not that stupid. Having said all that, I pretty much ugly cried all through this. Unlike some, I've always loved Gary. My cat was on my shoulder and I actually sobbed out loud when told Javi to have a beautiful life. My cat looked at me kind of alarmed. Poor Colin. Sniff.

I can handwave a lot of this but I cannot handwave getting into Camp David at any time, much less when the President is expected, riding in the fucking trunk. With the tried and true "Do you know who I am?" and "I'm going to go to your superior!" tropes. Which might work for a mall cop but not Camp David soldiers. If anything, that kind of anger should have tipped them off. They have to be well-trained enough not to fall for that nonsense. Overall slight and not that great, but I liked Peter better than most of you. It was entertaining. I wouldn't want to be anyone who knew Rose or Peter, because talking to them just got you killed. Anyone else have Jack and Rose flashbacks every time Peter said her name?

I say this as an atheist ...yes, why did they have to go there? I was hoping they would surprise me and he would be a good guy. Even a good guy who has resorted to cannibalism. That would have been intriguing. People do bad things when they're trying to survive. And then they made him truly evil and gross, and I was kind of disappointed. I hope on rewatch someday it'll be better, but it did feel like overkill. Even his intense desire for Ellie didn't feel real. But the acting, as usual, was amazing. Bella's fear and desperation, both for Joel and her own survival, really came through the screen.

I loved Adam's response to Alyssa saying she had a crush on him during his Idol time, which showed that it wasn't obvious he was gay. Yes, you can have a crush on a gay man. I also think the person who really should have come to mind is Clay Aiken when they were talking about it ... He didn't come out for quite a while after Idol. And I was a huge fan of his with my own crush, but I can't say I was shocked when he came out. I like Alyssa a million times more than her predecessor, but her pride in having turned her back on Trump finally does annoy me. She supported years of lies and basically attempted dictatorship. I mean, good, she finally wised up, but the insurrection wouldn't have happened if the entire Republican party hadn't chosen to support him and his lies and his undermining of democracy in the first place. Too little too late. I would love to hear her say she wished she had stopped supporting him sooner.

You know, if someone I care about gets T-boned by a drunk driver running a red light, and their bad heart gives out from the injuries in a way that a healthy heart might not have, I'm still going to blame that drunk driver, because that person could have lived for years and years with the bad heart. To dismiss a million deaths because a majority also had other health issues is horrifying to me. Even Bill called out the 99.5% good cop number. In any case, even if that number were accurate, does that mean the .5% don't matter? No. And very few people will say all cops are bad. Very very few people, even the "defund the police" people. They're saying the same thing Ruben said, that cops are being required to do more than serve and protect, they're supposed to be marriage counselors, welfare agents, therapists, mediators...all on comparatively very little training. We need to change the culture of policing in many ways.

Wow, someone who is not parroting Bill's anti-mask rhetoric. Thank you, Ruben, for actually saying that people who are not perfectly healthy don't deserve to die. And that a million people died even with all the precautions taken. If we saved 2 million people, isn't that a good thing?

My heart broke a little for Sara when Sunny said, "It's just a picture." No, Sunny, it's not to someone who is already stressed and struggling to deal with life. Well, it's not just a picture anyway - it's the picture and the personal note that some people like to do and addressing them all. It's time in an already full life. And no, she wasn't being a Scrooge when she was told to go REST by her husband, she was overwhelmed. Dismissing her stress and anxiety in that condescending way really pissed me off. And didn't she see Sara's guilty face? What kind of friend is she?

Those bastards killed Anacostia. But she went out as a complete badass as usual. It felt anticlimactic to me too. OMG, look, they're ... turning the sky yellow? Okay, the explanation was interesting, though Goddesses? Really? I know they'll just be called Goddesses, but still. Kind of glad Scylla didn't die. My money was on Gregorio, so I was also happy to see him survive.

Piers Morgan (who actually said a couple of things I agreed with but still) and another rant about people wearing masks. Plus a "college is unnecessary" thing? For some people, yes, Bill, but education is invaluable for some people and please don't feed into the Republican "elitist" bullshit. I think I'm done.

I've always liked that Bill could skewer Democrats as well as Republicans. But he has become almost unwatchable for me with the anti-mask rhetoric, and his "My health, my choice" comments make me have a visceral reaction. Because, no, when you're talking about the public health, it's not just your choice. Your choice can affect me and mine, could KILL me and mine, so it's not just up to you. And he's decided that it's only fat people who have to worry about Covid, so he's safe and it's their own fault that they are in danger. Is being fat the healthiest of lifestyles? No, but agonizing that I don't look like a Kardashian in a bikini is not healthy either. Not having a flat tummy and wanting to eat donuts are not synonymous. We have a culture in this country that glorifies people based solely on their looks, and that is creating some crazy psychological problems for people. it's not all about wanting to eat. And the problem with obesity is that his "just do it" and stop eating so much attitude doesn't get into the underlying issues that make fat people fat, which was the point of those articles. Throw in access to proper nutrition, food desserts where the cheap and readily available food is McDonald's or the crap you can get at the dollar store...It's not as simple as he'd like to make it. Michelle Obama was vilified in this country for trying to bring nutrition into people's lives ... We have a serious problem in this country that his dismissive attitude won't help. I myself am a little waffly on the trans in sports thing, but his saying that "men are winning women's sports" really hit me wrong. I also think he used to have panelists from both sides of a conversation but now he seems to only show the one side a lot. Let's talk to experts from both sides instead of just getting Bill's opinion of things.

Yet another show where I dislike the main character the most (Ginny and Georgia comes to mind.) Belly is just so ... amazingly self-centered. I get it, she's young, with this new "pretty" power, but playing with the feelings of not one, not two, but three good guys annoyed the shit out of me. All three deserved better and I didn't like any of them being jerked around. And being so hard on Conrad because he didn't give her what she wanted exactly as she wanted? Wow. Kissing one boy, then kissing the other ? So not a good idea. Especially when they are brothers. Steven was right - she's messing with their family. Like Joey Potter and Bella Swan (BLECH!), all the boys want this girl and I don't get it. Not at all. Saw the one brother stepping in for the other brother at a fancy dance on the Vampire Diaries, and it meant more to me because I already had picked a favorite brother there. Here, not so much, though Jeremiah was my early favorite and has a slight edge because he seems fun. I love boys who will sing and dance! I want these brothers both to be happy and I'm afraid that's not going to happen. Laurel's "Ok, Karen" about Susannah's saying the caterer is going to hear from her about the bad shrimp Jeremiah supposedly ate was perfect. The kids finding out about Susannah was the most invested I felt in this entire show. I don't think all of these kids realize how lucky they are to have two amazing moms really. And really, all the underage drinking throughout this serious bothered me on so many levels. That everyone just accepts that you drink and have sex at 16, that the kids talked about drinking in front of their parents, being hungover at 17 was nothing to the parents, that the ONLY parental dismay about drinking was Laurel's over Belly...seriously? Conrad "pounding the chardonnay" at a business function? Could get taht business in big trouble, I don't care how rich his family is. Plus, there are kids who actually go through high school without drinking. OH, right, not the cool kids. But hey, I stuck with it and now I want to find out what happens with Susannah.

When someone asks me about something on them that I hate, I always just say something generic about it - what a change! or the blue in that (atrociously wild print) is one of my favorites! - and then I ask them what they think about it. If they like it, that's all that matters. You give your opinion about two outfits -yes, I like the one on the left better - but why would you make someone feel bad about their hair? As someone else said, coloring hair too strongly can then age someone when it begins to look too harsh against their old wrinkled skin. At minimum, Sunny should have said I prefer your hair with color, not I don't like it. Diplomacy is not lying, and blurting hurtful things is not "truth."

Seriously, even before Covid the whipped cream shots would be gross, disgusting and I'm sure illegal. Why would they do that? And please ... Let's not do a round of "when I worked at" with people telling us they did that all the time. Let me keep my innocence. Though Carter had a bad response to Randi about the nail polish, I am glad that his initial reaction to his son was acceptance.

I had pretty much come to the conclusion that Nora was the second because we hadn't seen her story and she was least likely. But my biggest takeaway was EWWW on the Toni and Shelby sex. Not because of girl on girl action but because of unbathed person on unbathed person action. No brushed teeth. Peeing and shitting with no toilet paper or cleaning facilities. Gross gross gross.

That was my thought. A trunk of a car. A basement. I even saw an ice vending thing at the end that I thought someone could fit in. And I was just thinking that I would bury myself in the ground when Bev started digging. I binged this whole thing today. I came very close to just reading a synopsis. Sitting through Erin's death dialogue twice in one day was excruciating. This really could have been 3 episodes. Even a long movie. I am glad that Riley's parents resisted the hunger. But the rest of the town? I find it hard to believe people could do what they did and then just Oops it out and sing a hymn. Riley's brother? That's dead people snowing on you.

It's one thing for Sam to hate her and not trust her one bit, but to interfere at her job - not to mention messing with that kid's birthday party - was a dick move. Amanda should not have allowed Sam to taunt her while she was working.

There is no way kids who have only been learning for 6 weeks would even be in the same fighting level as kids who have been training all their lives. Badass debate girl against Tory? No way. Kenny against Robby? Never happen. Sam and her little triumphant smile to Tory can kiss my ass. Really intensely dislike her this season. Miguel and Hawk fist bumping before the match? Made me grin like a crazy person and I was really looking forward to the fight. But no... Seriously, Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang? Can't we all just get along?? I like them better working together and sniping at each other than being adversaries. Nervously biting nails as I head into the final episode...

If he was the Dark One, it's pretty lame. Hell, it was pretty lame with it being Ish. He just stood next to him and offered him a dream life. Then did nothing as Rand drew on the power and then, poof! All over. Contrast with Logain's gentling, and it was so ... not interesting or stake worthy. We got glimpses of how powerful Ish is, but no real battle, no fight. Contrast with the end of book tEotW? Moiraine going up against Forsaken, even if we didn't really know who they were, Egwene throwing her completely untrained bit of power to help, Lan's split second decision between Moiraine and Nynaeve, the creep factor of Aginor and Balthamel, the agony they put on Moiraine...so much happened in the Eye of the World that was about how brave these people are and how much they cared about each other and instead we have....Rand turning away from a dream? Standing 2 feet from Ish and using a sa'angreal instead of the wonder of the pool of power? Plus, if I hadn't read the books, I'd be wondering what broken cuendillar means, but I think it could have been something as simple and ominous as Moiraine saying that the seals on the Dark One's prison were made with cuendillar and if all 7 break, he will be free. Something. I am still excited for next year, but this was really not the best season ending, I don't think. They didn't quite stick the landing for me.

I know he left, but why did they show that brief glimpse of him and where was he walking into? What exactly was the point of showing him? What did it really add to last night's episode? But still, all Perrin did was whine and yell, which is not really how I see him. What happened to measured Perrin? A change, I get it, these are not exactly the same characters. But he grabbed an ax and didn't use it, which allowed Padan Fain to dump some exposition on us, but overall, it was useless.

I always hated the Seanchan but I kind of squeed when they showed up. I'm not sure I like the lack of a leash. Treating human beings like dangerous pets is kind of central to the Seanchan. So many changes from the books in this one, but it worked for me mostly. Perrin uselessly getting angry and chasing after Padan Fain but not really doing anything? Didn't care for that. The eye being nothing more than a fighting spot, with nothing special about it, since the horn was being hidden in Fal Dara? Didn't care for that. Loial getting stabbed by the Shadar Logoth dagger? Didn't care for that. If he survives, I'll be happy, but he shouldn't be able to survive that and I think the dagger should be more important and fearsome than that. I know the end of tEotW is a mess, but too much of it was erased for me. No Green Man? Sad. But 5 women, three of whom were clearly too weak to be Aes Sedai and two completely untrained, all banding together to face a horde? I loved it. Amalisa feeling the power fill her, when she'd never been able to feel much more than a trickle before? Gave me chills. Why permanently shield/still Moiraine? Also done when she has masked the bond...He mentioned it, so it seems the writers want that to be an important aspect of this. Though, if Nynaeve manages to unshield her, and then the bond is effectively back in place, that could mean something. Also, it seems weird Lan making the speech about another man making her happy after sleeping with her. Why did we get that glimpse of Mat? Where was he? Still excited to see where this story goes. It's not the same story, but then, legends change as time goes by and different people tell the story. I'm surprisingly ok with that, even with some important changes.
