When they showed the family right before Tammy went into surgery, & Tammy talked about how it was all about her & she was the queen, all I could think was “what happens if she loses lots of weight & she isn’t the focus of the family anymore?” Has she been resistant to losing weight all this time because it made her the center of the family? I could have done without the bird’s eye view of Tammy’s innards. Or hearing about dumping syndrome. Amy ate a honeybun right after surgery????? She has absolutely no self-control, it’s ridiculous. I can see Tammy succeeding & ending up weighing less than Amy. I bet Amy will end up trying to sabotage Tammy somehow.

I was watching 1000 Pound Sisters, when all of a sudden, there was Kim in a Skims bra commercial. When did she start doing TV commercials? And why would she run it during 1000 Pound Sisters?

If it's true, Amy is being her usual ignorant self. Why would she & the kids move out & leave Michael with a 3 bedroom house? If they separated, the person who is taking primary care of the kids should be in the house with the kids. Where is Tammy living? Is it more room than Amy's house? Is Caleb there? Why would Amy move in with Tammy where instead of taking care of Michael the child, she'll have to take care of Tammy the child, & possibly Caleb too. It makes no sense moving out of her own house.

Seriously, how can anyone not know it's called Covid? Good question, especially with all the Covic going around. Does Michael do anything for the kids? I understand why he wouldn't clean the house if he was sick with covid, but it looked like he just let Amy do all the parenting.

Wow, this show is getting hardly any comments, I don't think this season is engaging people as much as previous ones. The lamps were kind of meh IMO, but I love how supportive Caitlin & George were for each other this episode. I wonder if they've been that way since the beginning & they just didn't really show it, or if that was something new?

In one episode, Amy says that they were told that if they eat something fattening, they should have a diet "sodie" to counteract it. Also, she said that Darlene had to put a padlock on the refrigerator to stop Tammy from eating all the food in it, but I don't think she ever said how old Tammy was when this happened.

I'm going to try & phrase this delicately. I've watched a number of cooking/baking competition reality shows, & one thing has always bugged the hell out of me. When the judges taste the food, they stare directly at the contestant while slowly putting the food in their mouths & swallowing. It looks like they're in a porn movie giving oral sex, & it doesn't matter if the judge is male or female. I'm currently watching Great Chocolate Showdown on Hulu, & Cynthia Stroud (one of the judges) is particularly bad at doing this. It's gotten to the point where I look away when they show her. Just taste the food like it's food & not an audition for a porn movie!
