  1. Tiresome schtick that seems to take more and more of my time. Dr. Dubrow is so irritating; I wonder if he's difficult to live with or if Mrs. Dubrow keeps him in check. Poor guy needs to stick with one hair color and make sure it's IMPECCABLE for filming. At least his most recent cosmetic surgery/ies have calmed down. I have only the best things to say about sweet, patient Dr. Nassif.
  2. I truly wanted to repeat Tuneful's entire posting--it's spot on. I wonder at the age and experience of the "production people" making decisions on this DIARIES showcase. Such a waste of air time...theirs, yours, ours. Just as my best friend is "compelled" to watch EVERY "Bachelor Nation" franchise...she actually said "FOMO," there are similar zombies watching everything "90-Day." My best friend's age? Same as mine: we'll be 84 this year. What 84-yr-old woman is COMPELLED to watch Bachelor in Paradise? Why/How does she remember the story of every wannabe who sluts into reality TV?
  3. The color of her contacts is NOT attractive on her. Her pumped-up Barbie Pink mouth is as bad as everything that comes out of it. I need this storyline to end. She needs to stay in her lane that brings in that great (supposed) income...or get a make-under and a different therapist to appease me. She's so EXHAUSTING to watch!
  4. Do we assume that TLC pays enough to take care of the monthly bills of all these so-called professionals?
  5. An American Tragedy I bet someone has suggested the "newer" film version with the stars mentioned, "A Place in the Sun." "An American Tragedy" was introduced in 1931...twenty years earlier than Elizabeth Taylor's film.
  6. Pushed, sir? PUSHED??? Witnesses beg to differ. Belly-up big boxes. Belly up to Overstock.com's cyber space.
  7. I never got the "attraction" of Kim, Kimberly, Kim-BAH-lee (looks/personality/goals) and how she ended up in a spinoff. Is the real attraction her son?
  8. If she could only guess (imagine) the bitching/griping/moaning that will present itself at that time. My mother had all the "love letters" between her and my father when they were engaged (he was in Phoenix; she in St. Louis) and THEN the love letters 6yrs later when he was "in the war" protecting Long Beach in the Coast Guard. Apparently she had gone through and destroyed anything of any possible interest. They were all written in pencil. Nothing but news about the weather, minor mention of the kids. Nothing romantic; nothing juicy. There wasn't one letter we felt like saving. "
  9. We need MORE of you people!!! Because I was the only retired (medically) of the three sisters, I took on most of the decluttering of my mother's rental home. She saved every wedding invitation, monogrammed wedding NAPKIN, graduation annnouncement (she was the favorite aunt of 24 nieces/nephews), every newspaper/magazine article about Waylon Jennings and Julio Iglesias...and the rest is too much to mention. My sister worked for the City of Phoenix and had extra recycling dumpsters delivered to Mother's house every few days. Now I'm in my 80s and my DEBRIS is much worse. STUFF!
  10. WHEN and HOW did Bilal's persona take such a dramatic turn? When we meet him he's a wannabe WEALTHY man who wants a beautiful Muslim wife (#2?) to order around and control. Did he scam her? He appears to be successful, but definitely not a man of wealth. He has no personality to speak of other than I'M THE MAN. Seasons later he's on the 90-Day Pillow Talk circuit with his beautiful wife--and he's Mr. Hilarious. Mr. One-Liner in obvious love withShaeeda whom he appreciates and RESPECTS. What gives? Who's responsible for this transformation. I didn't like him before; I definitely don't trust him now.
  11. There are SO MANY great comments here that I'd like to send her...but she would just think I'm being mean. She's overly concerned with wanting people to think of her as "nice." I'm sure they do, but she must feel guilt about something to be so worried about it. I'm lucky; I don't care...and I don't worry about what my friends think. They know they can tell me if we have "situations."
  12. Thanks for the URL and especially thanks for the entire article. I wish I could send it to my best friend of 76 years, but she wouldn't appreciate it. She emailed me, "I enjoyed the entire two hours." She always wonders why I'm "so critical." I explain what "critique" means again and again. I saw one that looked like this. It was on an interview with the wedding planner who gushed, "That's 24-karat EDIBLE gold!" The cake was displayed like this...no decorations. Maybe it's impressive in person.
  13. My best friend since 1948...emailed me, "I so enjoyed the 2 hours. Gerry is a goober but they seem very happy." Why can't I just let her have her too-expensive happy-bubble wedding? I responded few of my own comments. I should include yours. The program could have been ONE HOUR...and still too long. (Gerry is no innocent "goober.")
  14. Blame Production for all of it. Susan has a more professional bearing...she DOES need to tone it down; it's probably too late (in life). Kathy's minor hesitations were annoying. I'm sure she was well coached and thinks she's ready for network hosting duties henceforth. She's not.
  15. LIPSTICK! LIPSTICK! LIPSTICK! Of utmost importance to me: Theresa's LIPSTICK! In clips from previous shows, she's slathered in greasy/slippery/ bleeding lipsticks...various shades (and RED!) Prior to the wedding she's still greasy. At her wedding, she's wearing a nice soft shade of MATTE lipstick. Nothing greasy-looking, no bleeding outside her lipline. No red. THERESA! Get the name of that lipstick and make it your signature look!
  16. And what exactly is wrong with getting married in Vegas? I didn't get the "something wrong...Vegas." Isn't the emphasis on "No dignity and "Idiots"?
  17. And now...a word from our sponsors. Those seven little words will take care of all scheduling issues. Susan had very little power. This wedding/reception was all scripted by The Golden Bachelor production staff. I'm sure they worked with Susan, but she was "over the top" only because she was allowed and encouraged. "GOOD TV" in the eyes of producers and sponsors doesn't care about the actual wedding...or the viewers. I'd bet the ages of those decision- makers isn't CLOSE to the demographic age of the viewers.
  18. Not a MERE bridal registry...but an AMAZON registry with subliminal commercials. Just like all the young break-out stars/mothers in reality shows like "16 and Pregnant," those gifts will keep rolling in as long as there's a TV presence of Mr. and Mrs. Golden Former Bachelor.
  19. I agree...very fancy for such a small town. Her FLOWERS were fabulous.
  20. Que? Her behavior(s) may have caused her upbringing to be more sheltered than anyone else in the family. Developmental difficulties? "Working" her family?
  21. Devin misses a lot of social cues and, for some reason, has been coddled by her parents. She's been "entitled" for too long. She seems to expect everyone to understand what she wants and needs. Perhaps a good work-up by a doctor in the largest nearby city will open everyone's eyes. I don't think this relationship will last if the couple continues to live with her family.
  22. Did he simply announce his opinion? I thought he was asked what Koreans thought about Americans. Apparently he felt we they could handle the truth.
  23. I don't feel that Nick is "berating" Devin with the "Piggy" nickname. He probably thinks it's cute/endearing...and a private joke--maybe it's a Korean thing. She needed to explain how hurtful it sounds to Americans--and how HE will be judged...is being judged. Her father and Nick need to come to an understanding about it. Nick is not criticizing her as far as I'm concerned, but it's best if he loses his "endearing nickname" for her. Dump the cute plushies too.
  24. Anali is probably not "complying" because he shows such LITTLE interest in her. He doesn't know how humans interact outside of online activities.
  25. Epitome of HEADLIGHTS!
