Wonderful, Surfgirl. I'm replying to you ONLY so I can bold your three most important descriptives!!! I hope Production is keeping her on the show so we get to watch a TRUE COMEUPPANCE...without having to wait long. Her kids can handle it.

Do those camera people and editors like Kim as little as I do?? She seemed "out of sorts" every time the camera was on her during the birthday party. Not happy. Others were getting attention. She even had the gall to suggest that Barry acted as if HE were the one in labor when telling his Lydia's Birth story. KIM!!! He's the father who observed everything. He wasn't sufering a long and painful labor. He wasn't the baby. He was the worried driver who had a sweet story of actually seeing a baby born on a highway! This was Lydia's birthday and Barry told a story that focused on her. Lydia's story! Were Kim to tell it, we would hear (probably) a story about how difficult and PAINFUL hours and hours of labor were. Instead, we heard a sweet story about the special way Lydia came into the world. It does appear that KIm did much of the party-planning...and choosing the decorations. I hope everyone complimented and thanked her. OH...RELIEF! Kim's happy. Kim wants to make an announcement; she wants to do "one more thing for Lydia." Kim wants to get some "birthday money" for her daughter, so she rented a dunk tank and SHE will be The Center of Attention IN THE TANK! Hmmm...so how much cash did Lydia receive? How much did the dunk tank cost? Did Lydia come out the winner? The kids did seem to have conflicted fun...not knowing whether it would be OKAY to dunk Mommy or not. Micah seemed pretty happy to have done the deed. Kim's snide happy proclamation that the next event would be planned by Barry and, "I'm gonna bring Ken," was to the camera--not to the family.

There's not one think I can appreciate or admire about Kim...but I do give her a bit of credit of being proud (or whatever) of her body. More about her as I read the responses. I'm in Barry's corner. He didn't humiliate Kim by being the one who dunked her and I'm glad he didn't participate as a dunkee. This was another pathetic attempt by Kim to gain attention.

You're assuming Kim isn't lying about the boat. I was responding to your comment that you heard it might be KEN'S (the airplane baron) boat. I'm confused about "Kim" and lying.

I'd like an entire episode devoted to St. Kim's use of Ethan's credit...cards and anything else not up to snuff. Surely stories could be unraveled and everyone (we) could know the truth. Of course, the Mesmerized Plalth Kids "can't handle the truth."

Aren't owners of planes extremely careful about all mainenance, inside and outside their aircraft? One would think he'd carry that habit to all watercraft.

Dictionary definition: BULLY ... a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive as vulnerable. Olivia was successful (for a time) in moving her marriage away from the Omnipotent Kim. With no trusted others to lean on, she evenutally realized she was living In a Lost Cause.

EXACTLY! Does that woman have ANY IDEA the tens of thousands of kids who "didn't want to do school," and wanted to be in a barn, or outside, or at a movie theater...anywhere! Please do not renew that shrew's contract. P.S. She probably had a great unpaid farm worker in Ethan; why rock the boat?

I suppose there's no way Olivia (probably the best character on this weekly timewaster) will be kept on the show. "Life with Olivia," would be interesting to many of us...watching her maneuver MORE in her world. Wouldn't it be interesting to have Ethan have therapy with (unknowingly) Olivia's therapist. I assume that's unethical.

Some religious background/education isn't so easy to slip away from. He's gripping as hard as he can to the tenets his parents created--and held to so fiercely that they couldn't accept the slightest changes initiated by the Bad Bad Olivia. Although Olivia has told Ethan kindly and often what won't work for her in their marriage, he still holds to the 1800s ideal. I don't think he can ever believe he was in the wrong. AND...if he ever mends fences (please don't!) with Kim, she'll just reinforce that he was right-right-right all along.

Okay if I disagree? I'm thinking the opposite; I don't like anything about her, but I'm amazed how she flounces around "in her own skin." Looks comfortable to me. The boyfriend has some bucks. He sold a 1/2 interest in his plane to Isaac. I think he help$$$ Kim a lot. Kim's a user.

I think Moriah's early childhood is the reason she can never think logically. She's back in Mommy's arms (dancin' shoes) now...The Great Manipulator. No one will (can?) explain to Moriah how Kim is the base for all disagreements in the famly, the iron-fisted "religious guidelines, the lies and misinformation that have caused Olivia to become hated...once again. Does this family NEVER watch the show(s)??? That Kim is one talented and sexy choreographer!

I don't watch "the series," but I'll catch one episode occasionally. Haven't this season. Any guy that young who's ready for marriage might just be ready to be taken care of. He misses his mom--and he's in for a shock.

Poor little IGNORANT/UNAWARE St. Ethan. I believe his broken heard is real. Who's going to sleep with me? Who's going to cook my meals? Who's going to do all the harrrrd housewife stuff? What he doesn't get is that HE. HAS. NOT. CHANGED. He cannot. He truly needs His Beloved to return and love/be loved by him. The Ethan Commandmants will not change. Olivia is expected to be his Complete and Devoted Handmaiden for Life. Kim (mostly) did permanent damage to that man-boy. The only thing we haven't seen so far is Ethan's renewed devotion to Kim, Mother of the Century. (I think it's coming...via The Family Band!)

Production gimmick. I. DON'T. CARE. Micah should try his showbiz (modeling/ acting) while he still has those Few Moments of Opportunity. Run to L.A., Micah, run. Otherwise, you'll be under the thumbs of TWO controlling self-absorbed females.

I loved this too and ESPECIALLY the subtle jab to Moriah, Olivia KNOWS the song's release date AND that it's "a burn book." Olivia's therapy has done a world of good. Please let her be in a position to go to college. She doesn't need it for a career (although that would be a benefit), but she missed so much "worldly knowledge" in her early years that she would benefit from the knowledge, atmosphere, and open-minded humans. Some parts of Moriah's new song (that voice!) might cause ear-bleeds.

EXACTLY! And what has happened? Has someone brainwashed those kids back to being slaves to Kim? OR...has the production company 'splained that this weird drama needs to continue if their paychecks are to continue. Have those older kids learned NOTHING? Have they already forgotten that their mother left them AND their father for ??? For what? Some other guy? To find herself? To become a reality TV star? For What? Kim was a self-absorbed demanding wife mother who pretended to be a "doctor" and a "home teacher." NOW that she's out and about feeling exteremely cute and sexy, she's willing to let her children see a little more of the world. I don't mind Barry. I think he was manipulated for 25yrs just as the rest of Kim's adoring fans were. And, Kim, it's definitely NOT cute to live on a houseboat and know NOTHING about how it works. Not even where "the key" is. Teasing about how Michah will always be available. UGH! Maybe there always will be men who will come to the aid of a certain kind of woman. Educate yourself on your surroundings at least.

I agree. It's not a Burn Book; it's something she's using to help herself focus. If she records a crime or two...no problem. "Ellis" creates her own "depths." Apparently she's prettier, smarter, and more savvy than any other female where she works. She's gotten by in life by undermining others. THIS TIME you're televised, Ellie! Everyone can see how you manipulate the situations and take advantage of others. Advantage in the workplace and experience with Your Type!! Bri will learn; Bri HAS learned.

Guess I'm in the minority. I came here to read objections to Mrs. C's new look and new harsher personality. She's being given more lines than ever before ... so she appears (to me) a more annoying and persistent! busybody. I sometimes enjoyed her one-liners and generally negative attitude...while helping. I don't like the NEW Mrs. C. OR her new wardrobe...including the wig.

Perhaps there's room for both words. "Charisma" when someone deserves the full definition...and "Riz" for those who earn a mere moment or two of attention.

She's a good-looking female and so far her looks have provided better jobs than she deserves. Probably needs to stick to working for men. You're SO RIGHT, "She talks a good game." This time there are witnesses...worldwide.
