  1. Think about ME who didn't even like Andy in the old days. I found him much too needy and a professonal suck-up. Although he's even needier now, he keeps the sucking off the show (mostly), I guess. I admire Anderson Cooper for maintaining a kind family friendship with someone who seemed so off-putting when they were introduced. Andy needs a mentor like Anderson. I admire Anderson Cooper for many more important things too, of course.
  2. Luckily, I've still got mine...but wouldn't hair loss show on her crown or hairline...not midway (like between her ears) where extensions are usually clipped or sewn. I bet most of us females find would her much cuterin a short or long-ish bob. Not "The Mansion Men." (Maybe Pascal.)
  3. I rarely watch this show and I do fast-forward through a lot of the couples, so I don't know much about Sean (I WILL say that it's unfair--though many simply can't help it--these days to judge the nature of men and women with tattoos... unless the tattoos spell out specific hurtful messages). SURELY, Joanne must have convinced him (and herself) that her boys would be "fine" with this international plan. Did she talk herself into that? Her relationship with them was SO GOOD that they would agree with anything she chose to do? I don't know*. I think SHE is much more responsible for this morass (I love this word for this swampy problem). *I DO know that teenagers are normally AGAINST any major change in their lives: moving**, new parental unit, new "siblings," new school, less income, and so much more. They don't want the slightest change that could be negative. ** Even just a different school district a mile away!! International? WHOA!
  4. I disagree back...a bit. "Most" might be looking/hoping for love (you seem to be describing "sex,") but in the long run many older adults realize companionship, trust, and friendship are more important Shok, huh? Is that you, Chock?
  5. Hadn't she been estranged from most of her family for several years ... before there was a Sarper? My boys' dad left us (no warning; shocked everyone) when they were nine and eleven. They were such easy boys, doing well in school and in life, that when I finally became "okay," (6mos later), I decided that I could wait to get "serious" about anyone until they were out of high school ... then I thought "maybe college." I think it worked out best for us. I did get "serious" about a couple of great guys, but we never married. No regrets. Of course, I don't think I met anyone as kind and thoughtful about someone's kids as Sean.
  6. Just what a particular sort of guy YEARNS for!
  7. How DARE Joan wear crappy extensions (or extensions at all) when visiting Pascal's salon. That might have been his first turn-off.
  8. She's looking young and unrecognizable. I recognized the voice and her "Sandra" pin helped. Nice red sweater but "weird" white bows tied near each shoulder. QVC. It was strange to see her on this channel yesterday. She said she has been "with QVC for over thirty years." Some oddities. A former Golden Bachelorette contestant, that funny (but LOUD) Kathy was on selling an $80-ish Italian cake. That was her only presentation. Sandra was unprofessional. Didn't keep track of where she was supposed to stand...and WHEN. She looks great, some successful cosmetic surgery. I assume "management" didn't mine when she proclaimed that she likes to go to Europe often because "their stuff" is always so much better than ours. That's where she goes to get (steal?) ideas. I think she needs more training before she "entertains" us for an hour once a week.
  9. I have a good friend (an old dance partner from the 80s) who was an ER doc when I met him. Eventually, he and a partner "bought" the ER department in a large Arizona city. An ER doc MORE tied down than one guy in an "established practice." It was a good move; he and his partner retired in their 50s. And how GREAT there as no flak that it was a gay men's chorus. Simply talented singers; imagine that! Perhaps JOAN was insisted on her sexy looks--and the wardrobe "women" were a bit tired of it. Professionals aren't usually happy with clients who "always know better." NOW, "poor Joan" will be expected to keep up that persona if she truly does marry_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. SO MUCH BETTER than some beachy "Paradise" where there's so much swapping of "everything." I shouldn't even mention it; I've never watched a show. I've come across some spit-sharing when channel surfing.
  10. Yeah...she went from pretty and looking kind--to surgically beautiful and a bit harsh. I wouldn't have considered "harsh" if I hadn't seen the BEFORE photo. HaHA! Will that be a surprise or a chock?
  11. Many of the older Asian people in my area dye their hair black...very black. Men and women.
  12. I watch sporadically, but I DID see that "hogging" on the bowling date. She loved it; and she should have been concerned about ignoring the other guys. Maybe Chock is a player...maybe Joan is too.
  13. I don't watch every episode, and I fast-forward through others. Chock (first of all, maybe that name is great "back home," but...well...nothing) was offputting from Day One. Typical successful salesman...heavy on the SUCCESSFUL. Wonder what the follow-up is when he makes the sale. The constant compliments would drive me batty, but Joan seems to love that crap stuff.
  14. What a SURPRISE on the wedding night when that stance is explained more fully. It will continue until the annulment. Just a joke, folks.
  15. Blame the producers for everything. (1) The first time this "couple" was featured on the show. (2) Everything thereafter. I hope they have fans; I don't get it.
  16. I really like Chris Christie. Weekly might be a bit much; already the ladies interrupt him like they interrupt NO OTHER GUEST. Maybe every other week ... and only Fridays when You Know Who isn't on to explain everything to him.
  17. This is the punishment (reward?) to viewers like me who don't watch ALL episodes, who fast-forward through MOST episodes...and don't remember to check the 'net. NOW I'll have to search to get the goods. Or is it the TEA? I know NOTHING about this.... She probably NEEDS some guy with a lotta bucks to bail her out of some of her sitcheeations.
  18. I wondered if her "choices" regarding her hair were something that irked him from the beginning. Yes he did! Shampoo was based on 2-3 well known HOT Hollywood hairdressers, one of whom was Jon Peters, Barbra Streisand's hairdresser and "relationship" for almost ten years. What a surprise! He became a Hollywood producer.
  19. I agree...and let's just start with the name. CHOCK-ock-ock-ock. I don't watch these shows regularly and most of the time I fast-forward through episodes. MAYBE...maybe if I knew how that name originated I wouldn't consider it so creepy. 🤑🤢🤮🤑🤑 I think Joan must like that type of guy...CONSTANT compliments to make her "feel loved*" Over-the-top compliments. I see her walking away from him after ALMOST choosing him. All three guys were good at selling themselves. *Yet another TV wannabe that "doesn't feel lovable. Boo Hoo!
  20. I don't think she's weak-minded; she has seen first-hand the damage Mr. Trump can cause for what we would consider the slightest insult. She does need to make a living and her talents and connections are in the political world. She IS hedging her bets; nothing wrong with that. I think she's a good addition to the table; Sunny disagrees (with a fake smile).
  21. If he wants to learn, he should see a private teacher. He/She can determine immediately if he has rhythm (the first requirement). I thought he looked like had possibilities; he'd just avoided it for so long...so sinful, you know.
  22. Wonder if an episode like this is in the works. Matt meets an interesting woman online; they click. She actually suggests meeting at a nearby resort for a spa day, "Bring your suit, Matty." He shows up. SHOCKER! His date is his favorite female: MAMA ... in a one-piece. AHHH!!! Comedy gold; the old switcheroo.🤑🤮🤢
  23. Sunny is offended. Sunny is offended? I quote her and bold occasionally, "I think it's really easy for those that aren't OTHERIZED in this country to not be offended...and to tell US, those that are OTHERIZED and MARGINALIZED not to be offended. I'm offended by what was said at the rally...." and she goes on. Okay, Sunny has just offended ME! Does she assume that if I'm not "otherized," that I am, therefore, ENTITLED? That I (and thousands and thousands of Americans) have no empathy--that everything is "so easy" for us...that we haven't worked most of our lives to assure equality for all? Go ahead and BE offended, Sunny, but must you also BE offensive?
  24. Matt and Mom (Kelly?) look like two braying mules in the various "bumpers" between commercials/etc.
  25. There's also "drama" for the sake of good television. Keith is also a businessman; if reining in is called for, I'd bet it's not a struggle. On another show, "Unsellable Houses," the twin sisters had unexpected water damage within the house...repairs adding $18,000 to their small budget. They also looked to their warehouse to find tile, and other leftover materials in their warehouse. The design changed a little, but they whittled down that $18K mightily.
